Well, I managed to do a couple of things, like organizing my stuff, getting some of my motivation ready, and an exercise that I'll be doing while in the moments that I catch myself having self doubts during writing, working out, or anything. Also, while I was working on my stuff yesterday I felt quite excited at some points, which was good because that's the feeling that I need to have. I was doing some research and that got my imagination run wild.
I also did a couple of tables to prevent myself from doomscrolling: one with research projects, and the other one with content that I want to consume instead of doomscrolling, content that is more wholesome, or entertaining. A couple of podcasts, books, some shows... Research projects is just for me to seek out the content that I want instead of having the content fed at me, plus I can make stuff out of it. In fact, I can make stuff out of both lists because it'll encourage me to create something. I mean, I got myself into reading about Lucrezia Borgia yesterday while I was waiting, and I started to read about her because I saw her name on a book's index that the last name I expected to see was hers, out of all the Borgias... Then I realized why the responsibles for that book chose her out of everyone, and it fed me into looking more into the power families of the Italy from the XVI century. If you played Assassin's Creed, you know the ones. I could make something out of it, honestly.
As long as it doesn't make me doomscroll, and it makes me do stuff...
It was at least better than the day before. Two out of four victories, but still victories. Had to skip the Watch because, while I woke up, my body just froze. I don't know if it was due to the heat, or because I was tired for some reason... I mean, the heat has been making me sleep poorly lately, so that would be the reason. We need more rains... Constant rains...
