Late update for my end of week two. I am half way into week three already!
I didn't move much this past week. It was very busy though and I haven't sat down much at home as a lot of my free time was used to check out a vr console that was gifted to me. I really wanted to try one for the intention of helping me be active in my free time and it has been surprisingly effective.
I lost another couple of lb in this week from what I recall.
I think I lost about 6lb since I started this thread.
My original measurements were:
177lbs
Hips: 44In
Stomach: 39In
Thigh: 28In
By Thursday this week they were:
171lbs
Hips: 41.5In
Stomach: 37In
Thigh 25.5In
As far as goals go, the weight loss is on track and I can almost not believe how much progress I have been able to make, particularly with meals and avoiding certain foods. The support from people on this site definitely make the difference.
We are almost halfway there !
Currently I am in the habit of regularly snacking on my vegetables and occasionally throwing in unsalted nuts or a similar plant protein.
I happen to be eating very little meat just as pure coincidence but probably have a small portion once a day.
I generally incorporate eggs, especially as a last meal.
I cut out bread and use wholemeal wraps or ryvitas. Some days I make my own wraps from egg and spinach and find this reduces my stomach bloating the following day.
Most mornings I have my fruits and some cereal and nuts but on the days I don't have this available I will have porridge with some kind of fruit.
And I have my hot chocolate drinks most days as a snack, usually in the evening also. The 85% dark chocolate works really well for cravings and it's filling.
I found this past week that my hunger is satisfied much sooner into a meal so I often stop part way through and can put my food aside until later.
I have had two meals out since I started this journey and both times I felt so full even just eating a small portion. I have not even gone to get a dessert after. It is a huge change.
I have only had one binge day in these three weeks and it was a fraction of the usual damage. A normal binge is 2-3 large chocolate bars and probably a lot of salty snacks too. This time it was just one sharable chocolate (as in would usually serve 4 people). And I picked up where I left off the following day without a hitch.
So some new habits are forming and I am feeling super proud
I have an appointment with my health coach in less than two weeks now so I am aiming to reach 168lbs in this time.
