So proud of you for doing such a great job at the Fit in December challenge! Hurray! I'm glad you're feeling better lately.

Did the diet change end up helping with your inflammation?
Hi @Fitato and welcome!
Yes it truly did! I have noticed a significant difference by leaving all pork and turkey out of my diet, and sunflower oil. Those always made me feel worse after consuming them.
I have advocated to leave those out of people's diets that suffer from A.S. in my support group. Those who have done so also say they notice great difference.

Today is badge day
I have completed Fit in December this morning. With a total of three used hall Passes and two days switched around.
I also completed One&Done yesterday.
I am proud that I will be completing 2024 on a strong note. :yas:

2025 I want to start on a strong foot too.
I hope all Darebees will go into 2025 happy and healthy.

So hello 2025
Hi darebees!!
It's the second day of 2025, and I am still going. Sometimes I think slower that a snail on Valium, but I'm going.

Was at my docs today. Yipyips nothing new there. Except telling me with A.S. I should get used to the idea that IBU will most likely be my best friend from now on. I know it could be worse. Just wished we could freaking figure out why it's always my hip that is killing me.
Showing him my booklet made him get bigs eyes though. Working out daily, step count, what I have eaten. Not many bring that much information with them. I just really like my notebook 20241231_125542.jpg

It's well put if you ask me.
I also bought the new.green powder Aldi has in it's stores now starting today. 20250102_124232.jpg20250102_124241.jpg20250102_124315.jpg

It is really green, and I mean GREEN! It has a slight scent of nori, and aldi needs to work on the taste a bit. It's not terrible, but it could be a bit better.
My doc looked at my supplements and said I should add fish oil and take my Magnesium with Vitamin D before bed. I am doing a lot of right things.
My wins so far:
Abs standing day 3
Foundation day 2 level 2.

Goals for tomorrow: day 4 of abs and day 3 of Foundation, and day 1 of hero's journey.

Hey just checking in
I did abs standing day 4
Foundation day 3

I started the 16:8 way of eating yesterday in the hopes it will help with my A.S. pains. Today is day 2, had to eat a little later than 6 p.m. I won't be fretting over it.

I was getting slightly bored here home alone with my sniffles and slightly sore throat. So I read the guide of working out while sick. Gave it some thought and went oh heck with it. So I pushed play. Hero's Journey day 1 level 1. Had to do the mountain climbers elevated though. Me and the floor with a move like that isn't working with my shoulders and spine.
My sniffles and the rest aren't feeling any worse. Took my time with it, and am happy to have started.
Let's see how I am doing tomorrow.

Wow you have an Aldi’s in Germany? Had no idea they had stores outside of the US!

Hope the pain in your hip goes away soon! :heartsit:

I wanna say Aldi's were originally from there. At least, I knew they were created in the US.

I just realized that I changed my goals. :giggle:
I am doing foundation, standing abs and hero's journey. Didn't I want to do the newest program from neilaray? I mean yes I don't think it matters all to much as long as I am doing my exercises.
:bouncebounce:
I have completed
Abs standing day 5
Foundation day 4 level 2
Before breakfast

After lunch I did hero's journey day 2 level 1 and helped the stranger. Looked at karma and on day 7 I have a helper 😁.

I look at the next day only and make notes on the way. I need to accommodate some things but I will get there.

Oh dear,
I caught a bug that is worse than I thought. Last night I had almost 40 fever, the shakes I felt so cold and I hurt all over! I have a cough that is stuck in my chest and it blurbs when I breath. This bug has been doing rounds with my family, and now at round 4 I catch it.
I will take a rest day or two. At least until the fever is gone.

It's 9pm my time. My coughing is hurting my lungs and ribs. Was at the docs, it's just a painful cough. Should clear up by the end of the week. I have some meds that was recommended.
I want to workout! My body hurts from sitting on my rear end all day. I walk around the house a bit here and there. Every time I do I start weezing then the coughing is back. I know my body needs the rest, and a workout with this cough is not in the cards.
Last year I wouldn't have thought twice about not doing a workout. Seems me and my inner schweinehund (pig dog, dog pig?) And I are finally working together ❤️.
I have no problems not eating after dinner right now, and no breakfast before 10 am is right in tune with my inner clock. Yeah my tummy growls at me if I go to bed too late. I keep telling it we will eat as soon as we get up in the morning, but right now the bed is way to comfy to get up again. That works like a charm each time. I will be getting to bed earlier again as soon as school starts again.

This cough is so persistent. I know it takes about 2 weeks to clear, and it's been a wee bit over a week so far. Only every single time I get a little bit of movement or the air is to dry or to cold I get one heck of a coughing fit! It sucks that I have to keep telling my kids I can't do this or that yet.
On the other side I can't be just still anymore. So I took some advice given to me from @Maegaranthelas and did some yoga. Nice gentle stretching and calm breathing. Afterwards my body felt better. I also did day 3 of hero's journey. It was the hammer training. I did low weights and took my time, so it was doable for me.
Took a look at day 4 and I should be able to do it too. I am taking it day by day. I think by next week all should be much better.

@NightWolf714 I just looked at it. It is perfect for a restart and easing back into things. Thank you so much for the link!!

No problem! I'm glad it looks like it'll work out for you. :) -Pun unintended but embraced-
