I am completely new to the Darebee community, and I am overwhelmed at life. Where do I even start?

Hello! I am Rose. I am completely new to the Darebee community. I have seen the website before, but as I said, I'm brand new. Where do I even start, where do I begin? Are these forums free? How can I track progress? I'm trying to lose weight.
I am transgender/nonbinary, assigned male at birth, 6 feet 4 inches tall, eith a Size 14 Wide Male shoe, and at maximum weight I was 400 pounds. I am now currently at 345 pounds, trying to shed weight and burn calories down to a hwalthy weight of like, 250 to 300 pounds, trying to lose 100-200 pounds. I have hypothyroidism and I have no energy to exercise in the middle of the cold winter months, especially where I am at in New York State. Help me, please! I know I need to do a calorie defecit of like at least 1,000-2,000 less calories than usual. I am a school bus monitor and the children on my school bus call me "big back" which is apparently Generation Alpha slang for fat. I have been labeled fat/obese/overweight my whole entire life and it makes me feel so sad that I die a little inside whenever I hear remarks about my weight. I used to have esting disorders of overeating and undereating/anorexia/binging, but no purging. I am sober from eating disorders for 3 years and 14 days. I just... need help, and therapy is not free, despite me having Medicaid. I am veey sorry if I am oversharing. I am just atretched out very thin at work, and I have no energy at home because all my family does is fight and argue. My brain is Hell, I'm overwhelmed and tired, I had a migraine/headache with a Pain Level 7 for the first time in 300+ days yesterday night from 4:33 to 9:30 PM. I feel so tired. Too tired to sleep, to poor to quit, too obese to be fit. This is my first real job outside of a crappy Wendy's that I have been to, and I'll be getting a raise in mid-February due to me being with my school bus children transportation company for 1 year now. I just feel so lost and confused. If anyone has any advice on any of what I have said so far, please do not hesitate to comment. One of my goals this year is to finally lose my weight, 100-200 pounds, as that is how much i am overweight by. Please help.

Welcome to the hive @Rose777!!!

As @Fremen offered, the Get Started with DAREBEE resource is the best place to start. The most important aspect is to start off silly slow and silly simple and build a habit out of your goal(s). No one can fully understand what you are going through, but know that you are not alone. This community is full of kind and thoughtful people who are willing to listen or give advice where they can.
Enjoy your day! :hi:

Welcome to the hive!
Me suggestion for an easy start without much hassle and thinking around would be to choose one of the level 1 programs and just start to complete each day if possible:
This will get you going and lay the foundation for more demanding programs. Big benefit with programs in my opinion is that you don't have to think each day what to do, it's all already laid out.

Welcome!
There's no over-sharing here. Or rather, if there is, you're perfectly allowed. That's sort of what the Hive is for. We share all sorts of stuff, not just exercise-related. Mental and emotional health are just as important as physical health.
Well done for taking this step. It's hard to lose weight with hypothyroidism - are you on medication for that? And congratulations for having beaten your eating disorders for three years! That's a major achievement.
Headaches can cause your teeth to ache because of that whole trigenimal nerve thing. It's odd. If your teeth are healthy, that's probably just why they hurt.
Not meaning to bring things down, but I'm going to say that losing 100-200 pounds in one year is a pretty big ask. Especially with hypothryoidism on your back. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I would suggest you make a smaller goal with a shorter time frame, such as, "by the end of February, I shall have lost 4 pounds." You may think that's not much, and you may be right, but to achieve that goal, you will have to start making changes, and the best changes are the ones you can stick to. Try doing things too quickly, and you'll burn out, hate it, ultimately stop doing it. Start small, build your way up. Start getting into a habit of incorporating one or two small things that make a positive difference every month or so.
As @Fremen said, start your own checking thread. Use it daily/weekly/whenever you want to. It's yours and you can put anything in that you like. The community here is very supportive and we like to see each other achieve our goals. We want to see you achieve yours too.

One, welcome to the oversharing my club, haha. Apparently it's perfectly acceptable and okay to share as much or as little as you want to on it. :bigyes: You'll find that while we not have exactly the same combo of concerns, anxieties, and struggles, we all share parts of them. And we're all kinda just figuring this out together. :)

I do recommend making a check-in thread. It's personally helped me be accountable. More than that, people reacting to my posts and commenting has helped me not feel alone. Life got crazy again (as it always does) and that extra support has been helpful.

The main thing is that I would try and start out small. Personally, I always end up trying to do too much. I try to count my calories, work on cardio, strength build, and 20 other things just to have it crashing hard. This last time I just focused on one program. Just one. And then I built off that once I made sure it was stable. That really helped.

Others linked the programs and getting started guide. I wanna link the guides as a whole. Linky McLinkFace. There's a LOT of good information on there.

There's also a number of mico-workouts that might help with the colder months. (I too want to just hibernate the moment it gets cold.)

Last thing I wanna mention (before this post gets too much longer and complicated) is that there's also general wellness information. I recently started doing a daily hug challenge as well as a few others to help my overall wellbeing. Because that's gonna help my physical health goals. Meditating has been helping me out too and I wish I had seen the 1-minute meditation challenge before I got into it.
