Egzersiz Tıbbı Dergileri

Hello everyone. I joined Darebee last night and here we are now. As a second-year pharmacy student, I’ve realized that I’ve been completely stuck in a “weight illusion”. (It’d actually be nice if there were an article about this.) I mean, when I looked in the mirror, I would think “I’m not that overweight.” Since the change doesn’t happen suddenly, my body got used to how it looked and that became the new normal. Same goes for the people around me. If they saw someone else who looked exactly like me, I’m sure they would say that person is overweight. Realizing this, I genuinely need to take control now.

I’ll try to write down my daily workouts here and, if possible, the calories and protein I consume. Who would say no to a little placebo, right? :)

I’ll be starting the Age of Pandora and Power Up programs, and I’ll also use a little drill that came to my mind last night: I’ll do a mixed workout of glute bridges, wall push-ups, and standing cross-crunches, with the total reps equal to half the number of steps I take indoors.

At first, I was considering knee push-ups, squats and sit-ups, but since last night I’ve already reached nearly 120 total reps, I shifted to alternatives with lower injury risk. (Maybe I’ll add Bird-Dog to the workouts too – Gemini found that XD)

I just have to say this: I kind of wish I had chosen dareants as my username. With my four ant colonies (and my mealworms), it wouldn’t be wrong to say I’m basically the ant guy. This week I’ll be quite busy with transferring them into new types of setups, but once that’s done, I’m hoping to enrich my workout posts with nice photos.

Long may she live, Tetramorium. Wishing everyone a productive training journey!

Step 1:
To be honest, I thought if I postponed the workouts until evening I wouldn’t do them, so I finished them already. The first stages of Age of Pandora and Power Up are done — I’ve taken the first step. During the day I’ll keep staying active with that little tactic I mentioned at the beginning. At this rate I’ll need to name it. (Reminder: do glute bridges, wall push-ups, and standing cross-crunches equal to every two steps you take.) I don’t remember the exact count so far, but I’m sure it’s around 50 — let’s call it 50. Let’s call each repetition a step. Show it like:

(Edit): Step: ~150

The technique’s name could be “Step by Step.” If anyone has a better idea, shout XD

Good evening everyone. Time to finish Step 1.

During my Step by Step workout, I completed around 150 repetitions. Unfortunately, even though it looks good on paper, counting the steps is difficult, and the first-day stiffness really challenged me. That’s why I think doing 15–20 repetitions of each exercise every hour should be enough at least to stay warm.

Once I get into proper form, I want this system to become a part of my life, and I want its core components to be pull-ups, push-ups, and squats. Let’s see on which day I’ll reach that point.

I ended the day with around 1500 calories and 110 grams of protein. I know that an extreme calorie deficit is not the right method, but I needed some shock for the first day. I believe that once I get soy mince and protein powder, I’ll have a smoother process in the kitchen.

Step 2:

Yes, I just updated Step 1 and I’m back again—so let’s explain why.

Tomorrow I have a tough lab class. It lasts 3 hours and, as you know, sitting is forbidden—there aren’t even any chairs XD. In short, I don’t believe I’ll be able to work out after sitting in class for three hours, then traveling 1.5 hours to get home. You’ve got to be smarter than yourself. So I already did the second sessions from the Age of Pendora and Power Up programs.

Doing wall sit without an actual wall was a big mistake. I had just looked at the image XD those were painful seconds.

My current goals are to prepare easy-to-make, high-protein, preferably low-calorie meals. Soy mince scares me because of the estrogen factor. As for protein powder, there are family issues XD Even saying “I’m a pharmacist” doesn’t help. I’m waiting for the day they’ll be convinced.

Good luck with your work.
