Getting started

Hi all!

Came across the site while looking for a place to get started losing weight as an overly large gamer, hoping to maybe find an online group to discuss things with and get guidance together. Seems like a good place here!

I was hoping to start of with the Foundation lgiht, but since I'm getting over a stomach bug (which is what gave me the time to find the site....silver lining!) Even that was kind of wiping me out...so the recovery program it is!

Todays workouts:
1 out of 3 rounds of Day 1 Foundation Light Program
Day 1 of Recovery Program

Question for the experts out there: What is the stretch being done in Step 2 of Day 1 Recovery (picture below)? Some sort of neck roll?

Starting Weight: ~345 (unclear because last weight in at the doctor was with significant water loss....it was 310 (stomach bug again!) I'd love for that to be true, but, I don't think I've lost 30 pounds in the last month!)

Looking forward to working and chatting with everyone!

Able to knock out day 3 early today!
Lesson learned: I still hate Cardio!

Give me all the punishing strength training..Cardio just feels so much more draining for seemingly lesser results! It feels less measurable, less identifiable when you are doing something wrong...and by the time you realize it, you've burnt 10-20 minutes and all that energy!

Welcome.

And yes, I hate cardio training too. Largely because I'm a smoker, so far. Luckily I'm avoiding it, although I know the day will come hahahaha. Cheer up and go for it!

Completely off topic...but I love you Avatar/Icon! That looks awesome!
Thank you! Was AI generated during the Battleground event earlier this year and I liked it so much I kept it!

Didn't have time to check in yesterday, but did complete day 7...and day 8 done today. It still feels odd having a dedicated plan (thats actually followable AND not so frontloaded to be overly tiresome) and to actually be sticking with it, Good odd...but still odd!
