Monastic Training

Set Monje Set Monje Logging since October 2024
3.9k in 30 minutes, which is a bit low, but consistent with my Runner Prime time, which is interesting as my legs feel far better than how they would after RP, like I think I could have held that pace for 10 or 15 minutes more.
I should play around with pace and intervals a bit more on these longer weekend runs.

I miss my old lab, much harder to be non-distracting during exams when I'm not front and center instead of hovering in the back.
Also doing 50 "Field Goals" before a captive audience is a bit of weird flex, be here's the guy who did it.

Today's life lesson: don't wear socks while doing side splits

Oooof. Ouch. I hope it wasn't too bad.

May I ask why not? You did 10k, so you earned it.
Well, I would have earned it in December in that case.
But I think my power walking rests were a bit too long and a bit too often, didn't feel as smooth as I would have liked.
If I did like a 10k event and ran like that then I might have counted it, but for a fun run I think I can do better before I call it an achievement.
(Got curious to see if there were any 10K in my area, not till September ... in Florida ... sounds hot).

Tomorrow: I assist with taking my sister-in-law's five kids under the age of five to Universal Studios.
If I don't make it back alive: It's been an honor, tell my streak I love it.

Guess I'll keep the step goal in the MM section, as the run for the 1/2 training and work walking about didn't add up get that high, so I had to putter about a bit.
Was also informed I'm taking a small vacation in the end of June, so probably wont start the dead hang challenge and will stick to caliestenics for another month.
