I had steak quesadillas at Crystal Beach Ontario at Sneakers last week.
How did you like?

I'm not a beef-eater myself. (Don't like the taste of red meat.) Chicken quesadilla was often my after-paddleboarding meal. (Because they serve it at the park where I paddleboard, and I was generally hungry after a day out on the water.) I'm not eating restaurant food anymore though (as the title of this thread implies). So I make my own quesadillas. With whole wheat flatbreads and stuffed with significantly more filling than the restaurant variety. Plus I dress mine with extra-thick sour cream and Neal Brothers Hot-Hot-Habanero Salsa, not the thin sour cream and mild salsa the park store serves. (What is even the point of mild salsa? That is just wrong!)

I have definitely fallen into a rut with my cooking.

Part of the problem is the challenges w.r.t. having to feed my father.
The other part of the problem is having to cook on a gas stove in the summer in a house with a dying air conditioner.
The air conditioner is being replaced today (with a state-of-the-art high-efficiency heat pump with a 10-year warranty on parts and labour). So some help in this regard is coming soon!

The cheese thing. Holy crap! I need to do something about it. But I'm not ready to make a commitment here just yet.
