ironheart 22 - I bought new resistance bands, and try to adopt the dumbbell exercises to resistance bands.
fintess class yesterday night, 35 min walking 3,5 km.

Lately I lost some weight. I changed my diet to no sugar and home made food. This weekend will be challenging - my son's birthday party.

Is it realistic to stop eating sugar? I often feel socially forced - at my parents, with a friend in the afternoon... It is much better after some week pass, but these familly meet ups... Avoiding there is very hard.
it is but as you said it is not easy I think people too "sensible" to sugar may be the ones who needs the most to keep away from it, i am one of them, and actually i am doing OMAD but cannot stop sugar... I should. If you can limit it to social events, it can be good ?

First time - some weeks ago quitting sugar was easy. It bothered me maybe 2-3 days. After every social meetup it got more difficult. Maybe every exception makes it more difficult. But after all, my weight changed only after quitting sugar. But remains the same last weeks.
I think OMAD would not go for me. I need 3 meals a day. I'm going to France next two weeks. Their lunch "window" forces to follow the rythm. Already excited.

I was on my vacation in France (Luberon). Saddly I got a cold. After three days, heavy head ache and hardly sleep at night I decided to return home after a week. Camping in a small car is not funny.
And I was afraid, I could pass it on to my hubby. Probably too late. On our way he said his throat is also aching.

Now I suppose I will need time to restore. Maybe a little walk here and there.

Daughter is leaving for Australia in a week. I hope at least for her to stay save.

This time I had no equipment with me. 2 times I did bodyweight exercises 2 sets.
There cycling and hiking.

@astro_lizard , @graoumia , @Mamatigerj , @Fremen : You healed me extra fast. Thank you for the vibes!

I started slowly with a walk and a back workout yesterday, my back was aching, I saw no other help.
After walking I was better.

Today I continued with soma 10 and raised wights from 5,5 to 6. For lateral raises I took 5kg.

I want to learn the true push up. Today I did from a table 3 sets of 10.

It’s great to see you moving toward your goals despite pain and changes. For joint issues, low-impact workouts are best—walking, swimming, or using a stationary bike can strengthen leg muscles and ease pressure on knees and feet. You can also include moderate arm and shoulder exercises, ideally with light weights, and having a salad every day is genuinely helpful for digestive health.

Consistency and listening to your body are key. Regular light exercise, vitamin supplements, and more veggies will improve health and energy. May your daily challenges bring you satisfaction—not discomfort—and let small successes motivate you to keep going!

Soma 15. I use 6kg weights for all but last exercise. For the last I use 5. It was hard today. Especially squats.

Push ups: I'm working on elevated push ups from around sitting hight. I tought, the progression would be hard. Today I couldn't master day 6. Instead I did 3 sets to failure 7:4:4. I will continue that way. I would do it every second day along with my soma strength days.

Thu
Soma 16 - HIIT - seemed more like LIIT but was quite challenging today.
Switched to upper body and core challenge day 2.

7K steps

All of my sadness (my daughter is to Australia) is going into decluttering and organizing. Third day. I can already see it.

Soma 22 - only Lvl 1, because yesterday evening our fitness class was really challenging and all my muscles are a bit sore...
Upper body 8 - Plank hold 60 sec.

cycling 19 km: it was quite cold and windy but with sunshine. I listened to music.

By the way: Do you know Epic the musical - It's on youtube. A musical about Odysseus. One of my fafourite songs is

Soma 23 ,24
Upperbody 9,10
steps 4,4K -12K

Today only one dumbbell - it was a kind of too easy.
I like the strength days but not hiit. On rainy days they help to move without leaving home. Thinking about to select another program next time.
How to stay strong in cold seasons. Not enough motivation.

Fri - Sat - Sun
X - soma 30 :completed:- Hard reset 1/Iron born 1
Upper body 17-18-19
Cycling 15 - - 4K steps

Time to chose a new program. I'm not ready for ppl split. At least, as I changed to 7,5 kg dumbbells, it’s too much. I already did a upper/lower split program. So repeat that or try a plan. Still searching...
I will add another challenge...

@astro_lizard @Mamatigerj @graoumia Thank you very much. I appriciate your cheerleading :ss:

I am thinking about using a plan.
For this week:
Sunday - Upper body strength - Hard Reset 1 :v:
Monday - Lower body - Glutes sculpt :v:
Tuesday - Mobility and stretching + Hard Reset 3 :v: + Fitness class in the evening :v:+ jogging 2km:v:
Wednesday - Full body - Somas strength days are the best! Soma 5 - Decided to spend blood. Therefore no workout today. :x:
Thursday - Jogging + soma 5 :v:
Friday - Full body - soma 3
Saturday - jogging day

Depending on the results of the week I would decide, if using this plan next week or go back to soma. I loved the strength days and disliked the HIIT days.

Jogging 4 km in a pace of 9". Pretty proud of myself. It was a bit up and down. Well my heartrate could be better...

Friday
Rope skipping for warm up.
Strength day soma 12. 3 Sets with 7,5kg dumbbells and 2 with 6 kg dumbbells. After the change the 6 kg seemed really easy.
