Cardio Go! Day 4

Difficult one. Definitely not the favorite, but it's alright :phew:
It seems that my idea for this cardio, eh, season would be constantly checking how my pulse is, like I did in my CrossFit days, and then if it's too high, I take additional rest and then continue. Because during strength training you can sometimes walk away with a "brutal" feeling and get an additional set just on vibes, but with cardio it's next to impossible — if you're done, you're done.

Part 1:
Cardio Go! day 5
Part 2:
Ring Fit Adventure muscle challenges:
Pectoralis Major - 85 Ring Presses
Latissimus Dorsi - 80 Ring Pulls
Mighty Pectoralis - 51 Ring Presses
Part 3:
Just Dance, 3 songs. I planned just one, but after you dance a Final Countdown and then a Blinding Lights choreo, you'll inevitably want to dance Livin' La Vida Loca.
It is what it is :phew:

Cardio Go! day 9
Part 2:
Ring Fit Adventure muscle challenges:
Pectoralis Major - 117 Ring Presses. New absolute peak, my best result more than a year ago was 105 :boss:
Latissimus Dorsi - 101 Ring Pulls. Same - previous record 1+ year ago was 100 :onfire:
Mighty Pectoralis - 55 Ring Presses. Last week it was 51, so yea, rock'n'rollin

Part 3:
Just Dance, 1 song

This choreo

Dead Hangs (36x38 sec) + 20 sec of Wide Grip

Cardio Go! Day 10.

I'm still not a fan of cardio, but somewhere during this workout I had moments of flow where I almost started hopping and jumping just because it feels like it.

It's definitely a bit contradictory to my previous belief "I'm endomorph so I'll just gain muscles and nothing else thank you very much"

:phew:

Part 1:
3.4 km of walk. I visited a cardiologist. I have hypertension — 155/100. He told me that I can drink as much coffee and yerba mate as I want, but we're going to check whether I have any other underlying heart problems. I’ll also have to rethink my relationship with salt. Ok :verysadkitty:
Also, today's walk felt easier than before. My legs were barely tired, just a little bit of fatigue in my back.

No way that's connected to all this cardio :ohyes:

Part 1:
Cardio Go! day 16
Part 2:
Ring Fit Adventure, one fitness request (basically additional jogging session with some Ring Presses and Pulls)
Part 3:
Just Dance, 2 songs.

My relationship with food has slightly changed over the last couple of weeks.
Sometimes it just feels boring for me to eat. I can get really hungry in the middle of the day, but I'll think: "Eh, I'm fine. I'll just have a proper dinner," instead of anxiously looking for something to eat.
Or today, for example, I was doing Just Dance and I thought: "Meh, food. I'd better choose a fun song to dance to; food isn't going anywhere."
For a guy with a pretty heavy eating disorder in his history, it's VERY unusual. It's not depression — I still enjoy good tastes, and I can treat myself to some ice cream pretty often (ice cream in Buenos Aires is really on another level), but... wow. I'll definitely discuss it with my psychotherapist, but I just wanted to put it into words.

Part 1:
3.4 km of walking. I had a Doppler ultrasound today — my heart is fine, so it seems the cardiologist will just prescribe a blood pressure medication and tell me to keep losing weight. That's good, we'll see
Part 2:
Dead Hangs (38x35 sec)
Part 3:
Cardio Go! Day 17

So it seems that the main issue with cardio is that it's great for my health and well-being and everything, but oh heck, it's boring for the first three sets. My body just starts to react to it by set 4 (or in the middle of the third one). There's no such problem with kettlebells. On the other hand, if we say that my issue went from "it's impossible" to "it's super boring for the first 3 sets" — that's already something, huh? :lazy:
