"Challenges completed: 140/165"
Challenge Challenge progress: 109/154 (71%).

Three more challenges completed:
  • Epic Abs :v:
  • Epic Arms :v:
  • Power Squats :v:
Currently working on:
  • Lower Abs
  • Spartan
  • Stomach Vacuums (I'm going to try including new challenges as they are released to help me feel like I am actually making progress.)
Lined up next are:
  • Squats
  • Better Core
  • Push-Up Ladder
  • September's challenge
As I look at the challenges that I have left to do, I see certain challenging challenges that I don't know I will be able to pull off. They are either very hard (e.g. One Punch Man - a 10km run each day for 30-days might be hard on my aging body), or time consuming (e.g. Walkabout - 16,000 steps + 2 or 3 other challenges + a program workout + work/family/the rest of life in a single day seems like a lot), or complicated (e.g. Only Homemade - I mean, I eat at home all the time, but I'm concerned I won't have the equipment or time to make everything from scratch for 45 days for my family). We will see how the final challenges play out, but I am preparing myself for the idea that a few of the challenges may prove to be too much of a challenge in the end.

Challenge Challenge progress: 122/157 (78%).

I got a bit of a break this month. November's challenge, 10,000 Punches, is one I already completed in its earlier version, so I'm counting it as done. So, five more challenges completed:
  • 10,000 Punches :v:
  • First Thing Plank Hold :v:
  • 50 Burpees in One Go :v:
  • 1000 Calf Raises :v:
  • Lower Body Blast :v:
Currently working on:
  • Upper Body Blast
  • Impossible Abs
Next challenges lined up are:
  • Glutes of Steel
  • Kick Master
  • Abs & Core Blast
  • Chest & Arms
I'm coming to terms with the fact that there are a few challenges I might not be able to complete, like One Punch Man or Pull Ups Level 2. For me, certain exercises and overexertion result in bad headaches that last 3 days. I will do as many challenges as I can, but I'll likely stop short of 100%. I don't mind because I've still enjoyed more than 100 challenges doing this. But I'm not giving in yet. For now, I continue.

Challenge Challenge progress: 126/158 (80%).

Four more challenges completed:
  • Upper Body Blast :v:
  • Impossible Abs :v:
  • Glutes of Steel :v:
  • Kick Master :v:
Still working on:
  • Abs & Core Blast
  • Chest & Arms
Next in line are:
  • One & Done
  • Legs of Steel
  • Leg Day Everyday
  • Iron Will
  • Epic Cardio
I'm also doing 30 Days of Cardio Hard and Fit December 2024. This makes for a slightly longer workout than I usually like before work, but I can't seem to be able to pass up starting Fit December on December 1, no matter what else I am also doing at the time. Streaks and habits are well-entrenched with my Darebee work. Have a good holiday season, everyone.

Challenge Challenge progress: 129/159 (81%)

Only 30 challenges to go, plus every new one or so that comes up each month.

Three more challenges completed:
  • Abs & Core Blast :v:
  • Chest & Arms :v:
  • One & Done :v:
Currently working on:
  • Epic Cardio
  • Standing Abs
  • Iron Will
Next in line are:
  • Legs of Steel
  • Leg Day Everyday
Then, all that remains after that are the particularly long or difficult challenges... It's going to get harder, so I might focus on fewer challenges at once.

Another milestone: On December 31, 2024, I reached 5 years of consecutive days of exercise:v:. This means that every day for the past five years, I have done at least one Darebee workout (most often from a program) and at least one Darebee challenge (but usually 2 or more). I even have an emergency easy workout on standby to do when I'm sick. I guess my next milestone will be 10 years? We'll see.
