First, my apologies to @PetiteSheWolf and @Louve Rose for missing your congratulations yesterday. I didn't see them previously and Fremen and Dawn's appeared when I posted my update yesterday.

Second, you're welcome @graoumia. I hope you didn't just follow the Path of the Sword because that's what I'm doing, because they're all good in their own way, depending on ability and inclination.

The Workout
30 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 3, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Beekeeper at Level 1. This was easier than expected, but I don't know that I would have made level 2 today, not to mention later in the month with a much more difficult challenge and exercise of the month day.

@Louve Rose, I just wanted both you and PSW to know there was no disrespect meant by passing over your names, I just missed them. I do appreciate that you understand.

I've been thinking about the past few months, since I really jumped back into working out. I think I may have made a mistake going half programs and half individual workouts. I believe I probably should have done one-third programs and two-thirds individual workouts. Well, too late now.

Day two for the new guy. I think he's going to do well, overall. He just needs to get used to our store. Looking forward to the day off tomorrow, especially given below...

The Workout
40 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 4, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Fifty minutes of Steady-State Cardio

This day was a day. That said, and despite not feeling quite up to it but going at this workout seriously anyway, more Push-Ups in Paladin were full, actual Push-Ups rather than Knee Push-Ups. I'm still not where I once was, but this is clearly better than my more recent attempts. Why? I have no idea.

The Workout
110 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 11, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Paladin at level 1

Low energy day today, similar to last night. I think, much like when I first modified my diet years ago in San Antonio, my body is adjusting to the change in caloric intake, which I recently reduced by removing some excessive items from my cupboard and refrigerator. I was already planning to start tweaking diet next week, within certain parameters, but this really suggests it's not optional. It also suggests that things are working as intended*.

The Workout
120 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 12, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Alpha Protocol at Level 2

*Well, mostly intended, anyway. Energy is good, or something.

Work was very worky and painting was very painty. Still working on the the same piece I started last week, in part because I forgot to swap in a few colors I need to complete it.

The Workout
130 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 13, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Sentry at Level 1. It was just too late in the evening with stiff joints to go for more.

Went open to close yesterday because my scheduled closer was sick and my other two closers had valid reasons to their time. As a result, I didn't even return home until almost 2100 so I pushed the workout back to today.

The Workout, part 1
140 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 14, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Back & Core at Level 1. Weird energy day and I wanted to make sure I had enough for this evening's workout.

The Workout, part 2
150 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 15, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Ten minutes in the Pits

Had an energy issue at work today. These things happen to me from time to time, it was just how sudden and unexpected it was as it has been quite some time since I have had to deal with something like that. A candy bar fixed the issue. Still, glad to have a fairly light workout tonight. Not so glad to add extra calories. Also, kind of feeling stuck as far as my body appears. I know it's still early and I'm seven years older than last time, but it still feels like it isn't going to expectation.

The Workout
170 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 17, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Standing Abs

did you eat less or differently before your energy issue happened?
No differently than I have been the last few months excepting a recent change from granola bars to almonds.

Today was better as far as energy is concerned, but I'm definitely more tired at the end of the day than I have been in the past, but I think that's my body getting used to the excess calories I used to have no longer being there. Tomorrow is not a day off, I have a manager meeting about seventy miles away*.

The Workout
180 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 18, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Prowler at Level 2

*My store is one of two that is not near the hub** of our stores.

Long day. Seven hours of meeting, two+ hours driving, half an hour dealing with other work things since I had the right person available, and a crisis at my store while I was driving home. Because when else is there going to be a problem?

The Workout
190 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 19, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Clash at Level 1. Too much going on today to manage more than three sets today.

2 hours of driving is exhausting, but 7 hours of meeting ?? :giveup:I can difficultly bear 1hour.... I can't imagine .....

To be fair, that seven hours was two hours of meeting, one hour of escape room*, one hour of lunch, three hours of meeting.

Today was busy. A fairly large direct shipment arrived full of many, but not a terrible amount, small paints and some other items, paired with an unusually busy morning.

The Workout
200 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 20, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Posture Perfect

*Did I mention I manage a game store** that has a few locations, most of which are in the greater Minneapolis area?

Work day. Good times. Bought a new* RPG that's crazy amazing called The Wildsea. The premise is ridiculously awesome and they have posts** that include what are essentially ship's cook and sommelier. And it gets more bizarre from there...

The Workout
210 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 21, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Extraction at Level 1. Too much arm and abs work today to complete more. Lots of working the same or nearly the same muscle groups the whole session.

*Well, new to me. It released in 2022 originally.
**These are essentially classes, but because the characters are on a ship, they're jobs on the ship.

I'll take the Sommelier job! Bonus points for being French ? :)
Absolutely, when are we going to get a Wildsea group together so you can? Scheduling may be a nightmare, I admit, since I'm in US Central time, which I believe is Paris+7*.

Game day. The past few sessions have felt short and perhaps have been. We are starting to get near the end and as the group is methodical, we tend to optimize plans, which can eat up time. That said, the session actually did end early as a result of hitting a very good place to stop for the day.

The Workout
220 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 22, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Ten minutes in the Pits

*Or is that -7? I never remember which.

Little crazier day today. We had a missing shipment that turned out to have gone to one of our sister stores. Glad that was solved. Also, Daggerheart, another new RPG in which I'm investing, dropped some new playtest content. So I guess it was a pretty good day, overall.

The Workout
240 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 24, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Graveyard Shift at Level 3

Slower day than yesterday, which was needed after getting positively mobbed early in the day. Tomorrow is a day off that probably won't feel that way given I have things I need to do out and about.

In other news, I am clearly losing fat mass*, as the Bottom-to-Heels Stretch from Lower Back required no additional work to actually get all the way down. Too bad it doesn't look like I've lost anything. Clothing test is coming this weekend to see that aspect.

The Workout
250 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 25, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Lower Back with one minute rests

*Again, like in San Antonio. And just like last time, it still feels like it's not actually going to happen.

Special two workout day today since I'll be out and about Saturday evening. It could certainly be worse, I could be doing two workouts on Sunday, with one being fifty-five minutes of cardio with everything else. Thanks, I'd rather that be tomorrow evening, on its own.

The Workout, Part 1
260 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 26, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Brawler at Level 2

The Workout, Part 2
270 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 27, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Beekeeper at Level 1. Probably a Level 2 or 3 day if not for the other workout this afternoon.

Paint night. Almost completed the model I was working on last week, except I was missing a couple colors I was sure I had packed. Went on to start the next piece. I'll do final work on the one and go to work with intent in two weeks. Here's hoping I can remember to pack the colors this time. >.>

The Workout
280 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 28, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Fifty-five minutes of Steady-State Cardio

I used to have a copy of that. It looked like such a fun game, but I never had the space to actually play it!
Space*, the bane of all wargamers.

I learned today that I am definitely waiting on my skin to catch up with my fat loss. I'm concerned, much like last time I was in this position, that it will not contract. I was proven wrong last time, but that was *checks notes* about six years ago. We'll see, I guess.

The Workout
290 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 29, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Ten minutes in the Pits, unarmed

*Well, lack of space, I suppose.

My nutritionist told me that eating fish three times a week helps firm up the skin after weight loss. If you want to try it...
Thank you, Louve. Do you have further information, such as particular options for fish or methods of cooking? I would greatly appreciate any additional advice.

I completed 4650 Heel Taps across the month* and enjoyed Warrior Arms so much I will likely do it again next year with a different bonus quest. Sentry at level 2 only because of a slight twinge of pain in my left ankle I'd rather not exacerbate.

The Workout
300 Heel Taps
Warrior Arms Challenge Day 30, with bonus quest Path of the Sword
Sentry at Level 2

Preferably fatty fish, cooked without too much fat, or boiled, or in foil, but even canned sardines are fine.

ETA : You need saltwater fish, not freshwater fish.

I wasn't feeling mentally great today. I hope I'm feeling alright tomorrow. In other news, the past couple days have been less than great as far as food is concerned. Maybe I need a refeed, but I was hoping to wait until the end of the month for that.

Feeling better today. Not necessarily good, but better than yesterday. Went to a pre-release for a TCG I play at my store because for once I wasn't working when we ran it. I didn't do that well, but I don't get many chances to play, either.

The Workout
30 March Steps
Better Abs Day 3, three sets of nine Raised Leg Circles with 30 seconds rest
Power Up Day 3

I haven't slept well or much the past couple nights and it's definitely affecting me. Some neighbors in the US don't really understand being neighborly to their neighbors anymore, apparently.

The Workout
50 March Steps
Better Abs Day 5, three sets of ten Raised Leg Circles with 30 seconds rest
Power Up Day 5. I could barely move my arms after sixty seconds of Knee Push-Up Plank and my Knee Push-Ups suffered in the second thirty seconds of them. I had a difficult time with the Shoulder Taps and Extensions, as well. Good times*.

*Well, maybe not.

Better sleep last night what with not being kept up until 0200 due to fireworks from the neighbors. However, how do people do side bridges without hurting their elbows? I barely managed today's workout with a heavily folded exercise mat and some modifications to make it less painful.

The Workout
60 March Steps
Better Abs Day 6, three sets of sixteen Knee Crunches with 30 seconds rest
Power Up Day 6

Four more days with Side Bridges. Yay. Thankfully, not today.

Having some body issues, among other various internal problems. As much as I want to talk about any and/or all of it, I don't have any desire to be a burden, either.

The Workout
70 March Steps
Better Abs Day 7, three sets of eleven Raised Leg Circles with 30 seconds rest
Power Up Day 7
