Starting my fitness journey!

Goals:
Consistency/Weight loss

Exercises - Morning:
Some takeaways:
  • Performing side kicks was more difficult than expected. My range of motion is lacking; might focus on flexibility training down the road.
  • Going to include warmup exercises.
  • Going to include 30 day challenges.
First time doing something like this. I'm kind of nervous having my progress out there for others to see, but nonetheless, I hope this will help with consistency. Also, thank you Darebee for this amazing site!

Yea, I was doing the exercises without having a training log for probably a year, but I would get more sporadic than I was happy with, so having a public log is nerve-wracking at first, but it helps with staying on track, I think.

This is a very supportive community, no one judges and everyone tries to support each other on a journey of trying to get better, together.
I hope this will help with consistency.
It helps a lot, it's like walking in company, time passes faster and better.

Spacing out exercises throughout the day. Posting in the morning and editing in afternoon/evening activities.

:v: Cycling - 30 minutes*

:v: Baseline Program 4/30 - Level III

Afternoon:

Evening:
:v: Daily Flexibility
:v: Counting Victories 3/30

*Going to do at least one cardio exercise every morning!

Hello :hello: I think we joined on the same day! I’ve been doing Darebee workouts for several years (don’t remember how long) but never joined the community until a few days ago.
Hi @FlowersandPetals, yeah same! Joined on Friday but also have been using Darebee (on and off) for years. Even started to donate to them since about a year ago and only now joined the community.

A whole week of exercise! Can tell my body isn't used to it yet so I'm going to implement workout split routines for the coming weeks. Should give my body enough time to rest in between intense activity. Thinking of doing a common one for full body workouts (began my journey on a Friday so my weeks start there):
  • Friday: Full-body workout
  • Saturday: Light activity
  • Sunday: Light activity/Yoga(?)
  • Monday: Full-body workout
  • Tuesday: Light activity
  • Wednesday: Full-body workout
  • Thursday: Light activity
Might make EotD and WotD extra credit while I'm at it. Have a good day/night everyone!

Realized "Exercise of the Day" is also called "Daily Dare". In addition, I read another thread discussing how building muscles through resistance training helps boosts metabolism—soo... introducing dumbbells!

Light activity today. I can feel my body wanting to move more now. This morning I had the urge to do the walking challenge like I craved for it lol. Followed through with the workout split schedule and I'm really happy about that. Same schedule starting tomorrow. Going to introduce more intense full-body stuff, maybe use the bench rack and start somewhere.

Got sick with the flu last Friday and was bed ridden all weekend. Sad about losing my streak but I'm recovering just fine. Gonna try and catch some turkeys while I'm back at it.
Lost 2lbs (0.907kg) so far at least!

Jackhammer looks like a fun workout!
I think it's fun too! It's a nice introduction to weights when I first started using dumbbells.
