My active rest day and weigh in day. Gained back a little over a pound :smash:

Classic Warmup

Fit December Day 7, five sets

Storm Princess 3 sets

Mr. Grinch- 3 sets

Winter Blues- 3 sets

Selkie- 3 sets. 42 minutes

Ultimate Morning Stretching parts 1 and 2 plus a few extra stretches for-19 minutes

I’m so frustrated with myself about my weight. I took the rest of my bag of chips and threw them out. I need to find a vegan gluten free alternative that isn’t popcorn (can’t have popcorn because it affects my MCAS symptoms).

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

Today’s workout:

Unbound Warmup
Fit December Day 8, five sets; 10 minutes total

Leg day strength training exercises with weights, loop bands, Pilates stick- 2 hours

Fighter’s Stretch with a few extra stretches for my back: 9 minutes

I’m thinking of starting January with a program I found on here to help my back. Forgot the name of it but I do have it bookmarked. I’m debating between that or an add on abs program. We’ll see.

We got our cat a few Christmas gifts yesterday. He’s gonna be spoiled for his first Christmas in a permanent home. I know he was rescued in a storm, but don’t know exactly when or where. I’m just grateful for whoever it was that helped him. Funny thing is I haven’t gotten anything for the rest of my family yet. :corner:

Today’s Workout:

Universal Warmup
Fit December Day 9 - five sets Had to do the butt kicks as low impact because of my flat feet 👣
Exercise of the Day: 10 Crunch Kicks 16 minutes

Arms and Abs Strength Training with weights, resistance bands, wrist weights 1 hour, 57 minutes

Sore muscles stretch 10 minutes

I’ve never done the exercise of the day before. The crunch kicks weren’t too hard.

This will be a busy week with my chronically ill daughter has 2 doctor appointments- both specialists. She’s handling it pretty well. She has her tough days but she tells me she doesn’t want to keep it from living her life. She’s come a long way with that. I’m proud of her.

Fit December Day 10, five sets - 13 minutes training with weights, loop bands, etc.

Leg day strength training with weights, loop bands, etc. and I started working towards an ornament which is 100 squats in 1 go. 500 left :phew:

Total time, 2 hours.

Sore Muscles stretching plus a few extra: 9 minutes.

I see I had written down Fighters stretch for my leg days this month. Oops. I’m starting to wonder if I’m getting up too early for my workouts. But 4 am is the only time I can do it unless I decrease my time. I’ve worked so hard to get where I’m at now. I may have to do a shorter workout on Thursday because my daughter has an early morning doctor appointment. My husband is planning on going with her but just in case he’s not up to it.

Good Morning! (Afternoon/Evening) :ss:

Today’s Workout:

Darebee Warmup
Fit December Day 11, five sets
Exercise of the day: 20 Squat Hops. 11 minutes

5 sets:

Catalyst
Dumbbell Triceps
One Dumbbell
My own hand strengthener -5 sets, 16 reps each hand 1 hour, 16 minutes

Captain on Deck - 7 sets
Librarian- 5 sets
Washboard Abs -5 sets. 41 minutes Had to do the sit-ups with my hands behind my head. For the elbow to knee crunches, I did regular bicycles instead.

Stretches, cool down:

Stretched, Stronghold 10 seconds each stretch, plus some extra stretching. 13 minutes

Since yesterday I did 600 squats for the Ornament event, my legs would’ve said “aaahhh” over some of those stretches. I love the feeling of being sore after a good workout. Let’s just say I was ecstatic this morning :cantcope:

I’m sick. My sinuses feel like bricks 🧱. And I’m coughing, even feeling a little nauseous because of my sinuses.

I did the Hall Pass thing and did 50 step jacks, plus a few active (think they’re called Dynamic) stretches: side to side lunges, torso twisting, a little marching in place while still in my pajamas. I was hoping a little exercise would help me feel a little better but not this time. (Already read the guide about exercise when you’re sick)

My daughter’s appointment went great yesterday. She got some bloodwork done to check for inflammation and her remicade levels.

This sinus thing turned into a bad cough and cold. Woke up last night feeling feverish but it went away after taking some ibuprofen. I was coughing all night. My husband is sick too. I’m just praying our daughters don’t get sick as well. We still need to finish up our Christmas shopping and figure out what we need for Christmas dinner and desserts. We got in the habit of making a cake and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus when the girls were little (along with them saying Jesus is really old! 😂) We still have the cake without the singing.

I only did the Fit December Hall Pass thing today. I’m glad I had the strength for it. Hopefully in the next few days I’ll be able to work out more again. I really miss it!

Today’s workout:

Darebee Warmup

Fit December Day 14 - 5 sets (with rest in between)

The Walk -3 sets (went through the whole workout 3 times)

Man Down- only 1 set. 23 minutes

Morning stretching-5 minutes

Still not 100% yet. But I didn’t cough as much last night. Took my time with it. Honestly wasn’t sure I’d be able to do all five sets of today’s Fit December workout. Listening to music helped me get through it all. Today’s my active rest day and I worked out harder than I have in a few days. Calling it a win, even though it was only about a half hour workout. By the time I got to doing Man Down I was feeling like the title says :tired:

I did look up that recovery program, but only thing is, I don’t do yoga. (No offense to anyone here and I’m not trying to start an argument- no judgment or anything) So I’m gonna take it 1 day at a time, use lighter weights (or no weights) do easier workouts.

10 days until Christmas!🎄

Today’s workout:

Universal Warmup
Fit December Day 15, five sets 11 minutes (I took my time really!)

Arm day light strength training 58 minutes

Sore Muscles Stretching 9 minutes

I’m still sick but starting to feel better. Coughing and sniffling a lot. I used lighter weights than usual so I don’t wear myself out too much. The struggle is real especially when the weights feel too light! I want to do a “normal “ workout session but my body isn’t ready.

The cat is enjoying me and my husband being sick, getting into all kinds of mischief. He’s getting into the cabinets, toilet paper, drawers. Yet we still spoil him like the golden child he is :LOL: He was fixed in June or July this year. They say neutering calms a cat down. :amused:

Today’s Workout

Unbound Warmup
Fit December Day 16 - five sets, 11 minutes This one was probably the easiest one so far this month! :ss:

Leg Day strength training with loop bands, light weights- 1 hour, 7 minutes

Fighter’s stretch 9 minutes

Still feeling a bit blah. Woke up feeling feverish again last night. Ibuprofen helped. I can’t wait to get better! Trying to take my time, and not be hard on myself for not going 100%. This will pass.

Arms and AB’s strength training- 1 hour, 48 minutes

Sore Muscles Stretch 10 minutes

Slowly getting better. Unfortunately both of my girls are sick. Hopefully they’ll be better in time for Christmas next week. I feel kinda guilty that I usually recover from being sick faster than the rest of my family. My husband has been sick for 2 weeks! Everyone is coughing, sniffling except the cat!
I did get some Christmas shopping yesterday. There’s a store called 5 Below I like to go to that’s pretty good for last minute shopping, stocking stuffers. It’s actually a fun store, but you have to watch your prices.

Looking forward to participating in the snowball fight! If only the snowballs were real…:tears:

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today’s Workout:

2 minute Warmup
Fit December Day 18 -5 sets, 14 minutes

For today’s strength training I thought I’d try mixing in some of the low impact cardio and body weight workouts with my weights and one of my loop bands. Here’s the workouts I chose:

Innkeeper- 5 sets

Made With Love -5 sets

Roundabout-5 sets

Secret-3 sets. Time was 1 hour, 27 minutes.

I probably would’ve done more sets of Secret workout but I was getting too tired. Still recovering from being sick. I’ll get back to the snowball fight later.

Arms and Abs Strength Training exercises: 1 hour, 56 minutes

Sore Muscles Stretch- 11 minutes

My ears are clogged and I can’t hear anything that well (considering it a mixed blessing :hehehe:), coughing a little and sniffling but I’m able to do a lot more normal stuff. It’s like my ADHD has had enough of being sick and wants to move!

We don’t have major plans for Christmas but I’m still excited. My favorite holiday.

I will get back to the snowball fight later :snowball:

It feels like everything above my neck isn’t working properly. I’m pretty sure I know what you’re thinking :excited:
My hearing is worse than yesterday and my family is starting to lose their patience. Too bad. I know a little sign language (nothing vulgar!) that can really confuse them if I want to, and have used it . :muahaha: But I feel like I can do my version of a normal workout so yay for that!

Chest & Lower Back Stretching (dynamic stretching) for warmup

Fit December Day 21, 5 sets did low impact version of the butt kicks for this one

Exercise of the day 40 Palm Strikes

Rock Hard Abs — 47 minutes

Stretch: Everyday Stretching, with a few extra stretches 11 minutes

My ears are still clogged, and I’m sniffing, but my cough is improving. I’m using saline nose drops a lot to help it.

We got a little bit of snow outside. I love it and hope to go for a walk and enjoy it; maybe get into a snowball fight. :amused:
Great way to start the first day of Winter! My cat is enjoying it, looking out the window. He’s an inside cat. We won’t let him go out. Too dangerous around here for him. Not only because of cars, but we live near a swamp which has owls, foxes, etc. He gets plenty of exercise and food inside.
