Thanks! @Mamatigerj @Daptomycin @NightWolf714 @Lady Celerity @Maegaranthelas

I missed yesterday, oversleeping plus having to get to the shops early (They did not want to stay open) meant I didn't get around to it.
Not a problem today as I'm up extremely early (Again :sadness:) and full of oomph at the moment:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Seconds Tree Pose Hold (EotD) done,
Steelworks (WotD) done (1 set, some of those kicks are difficult),
Day 23 of Fit December done,
Day 23 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 23 of One & Done done,
Day 20 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas Day!
Mine wasn't too bad, didn't do much but it was a vast improvement over the previous years 'Let's spend all day walking around a deserted town in the rain, that's sure to stop the sadness.'. Plus the new Wallace and Gromit was awesome.
Yesterday was good too. Instead of eating boxes of probably extremely unhealthy, ready made buffet food (As is tradition), we had leftover Cowboy Soup (It was very tasty).

See y'all tomorrow!

Very tired (Only got about 2 hours of sleep so far) but managed to stumble through some exercises:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Seconds Back Leg Raise Hold (EotD) attempted (Just got no balance today),
No Rest For The Wicked done (1 set, skipped the Balance Hold though),
Day 25 of Fit December attempted (2 sets, arms were too tired after that),
Day 25 of 1000 Squats done (I think, I kept having to stop because I was getting dizzy and I lost count a few times),
Day 25 of One & Done done,
Day 22 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Housemate took a tumble yesterday and it seems to have really ramped up her night terrors, once she's awake I'll try to go back to bed for a couple hours, don't think I'm going to manage much else today, see y'all tomorrow!

Day 27 of Fit December done,
Day 27 of 1000 Squats done,

As a reward for having no night terrors I'm taking the Housemate out for a hot chocolate, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Maegaranthelas - I hope you had a good day too!

Happy New Year everybody!

I've started my new year with some exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Jumping Jacks (EotD) done,
Clean Slate (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 28 of Fit December done,
Day 28 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 28 of One & Done done,
Day 25 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Sadly, I left it too long in taking the Housemate to the cafe, they had already stopped doing their Black Forest Hot Chocolate, gotta wait for next Christmas now

Haven't put too much thought into goals for 2025 beyond basic stuff like more consistency with my exercises (Going to have another crack at Fighters Codex once I finally finish Fit December) and doing more of my hobbies instead of zombifying on my computer.
Unfortunately I have these goals every year but never stick to them, but maybe this is the year? :gotq:

See y'all tomorrow!

You need to find a reason to stick with these goals. Ask why do you want to do A over what you currently do (B). If you find a compelling reason, you're more likely to stick with it, but if you're just can-take-it-or-leave-it, you're unlikely to do it. Think, which hobby or hobbies in particular; what is it you actually want to do; how is "zombifying on your computer" stopping you do this, and why do you let it?

You may also want to come up with some lists of goal-oriented things you can still do when your days have been fragmented and derailed by your caretaking duties.
If there's a particular muscle group you want to work on, maybe have a few reps of a suitable exercise as your back-up plan.
A sort of 'well this day fell apart but if I just do these ten push-ups that's still progress towards my goal'

Similarly, are there parts of your hobby that you can do in the in-between moments? Maybe have some of that stuff prepped somewhere so you can enjoy those parts of your hobbies when you lack brain capacity.

And be kind to yourself, care work is really hard work and you're frequently on very little sleep.
How would you talk to a friend if they were in such a situation?
I don't think you'd make them feel bad for having struggled with the same goals for a few years

Along with the above, I hear the best idea is to start out so stupidly simple you can't fail, and then go from there. Like for exercising, a good first step might be as simple as "put on your workout clothes and shoes." Super easy. And once you got them on, you might feel more compelled to do more.

And a happy New Year to you too! @Lady Celerity @Mamatigerj
Thanks for the advice! @NightWolf714 @Maegaranthelas @TopNotch - I'll have to give it more thought. The main problem is that I'm a very lazy person, if my brain had its way I'd never do anything (I'd probably never even get out of bed), so it's always a struggle to get going on everything.

Getting closer to finishing things:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Leg Raises (EotD) done (2 sets of 15),
Healer (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 29 of Fit December done,
Day 29 of 1000 Squats done (That was a lot of Squats!),
Day 29 of One & Done done,
Day 26 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

It's not raining today so I can go for a walk, yay! :float:
See y'all tomorrow!
