"I come forth from the void into light. I am the breath that nurtures life. I am that emptiness, that hollowness beyond all consciousness. The I, the Id, the All."
Out of The Void
A number of years back now, I discovered Darebee and signed up. Times have changed, and with the loss of the older account, I'll begin anew.
These are interesting times, and I've more desireand need than ever to be healthier than I've ever been. I wish to live strong and healthy. I want to be in the best shape possible before I begin the family I'm excited to start. The time is not yet, but soon. Were that it were sooner, but until I'm ready, I will build myself up. (And take my lovely partner with me, as another member of my accountability team.)
For these check-ins, I'm hoping to keep myself motivated by writing a narrative element to the exercises I've undertaken. As part of the log, which will include the exercise or program I've chosen (or else an acceptable substitute). Those who wish to reply in a roleplay format will be responded to in kind! Feedback is always welcome, as is positive reinforcement and more.
My goals are the following: With End Goal (And Methodology.) [Frequency.]
I look forward to officially starting very soon. (After the cake wars, perhaps..!)

- Rebuild my Cardiovascular health: 5k without stopping. (Last best time was apx. 36 minutes. Will build up continuous movement before I re-evaluate to improve speed. A couch to 5k program called Zombies, Run! 5k Training app has been motivating for me in the past and I've stuck with it before. Audio clues help me, as is having a goal/story. Before Zombies, there was Couch To 5k, who've made this app: C25K, for those who might not want or need the story/dialogue.) [3 days/week, every other day or so.]
- Rebuild Core Strength: Hold a bridge for 1 minute. (Will borrow Hybrid Calisthenics' progression method for bridges. I was more flexible when I was younger, and weaker abs left my back compensating for balance. May incidentally try to build this up if I have a quiet moment between chosen activities, or if I've been still for too long. I.E, boredom or unsure of what next to do, will try to make progress here.) [Minimum 1/week.]
- Rebuild a Baseline Fitness Level: Complete a Beginner-Friendly Program (This time, I'm starting with House of the Valkyrie. If doing a Cardio/Running day, may move Valkyrie to next day. When one program is finished, I'll print the achievement/Medal. Then I'll evaluate which program to undertake, be it from Darebee or to double down on Hybrid Calisthenics.) [3-5 days/week.]
I look forward to officially starting very soon. (After the cake wars, perhaps..!)
