Wow! What a magnificent flock of birds!
We don't see many greylags where I come from. Just the odd farm escapee that gets taken in by a local gaggle. But I do know your Canadian cousins to be magnificent birds who are fiercely protective of their families. It pains me that humans' hostile takeover of so much of your land has resulted in animosity between our two species. Please know that some of us are trying to do better.
I myself cannot fault you for visiting this fair. There is good grub to be had here! And honestly: with humans expanding our villages into your territory, why shouldn't you share in the bounty of the crops we harvest there? But it's not safe for you here on the village green. You're too exposed here.
Please, if you would allow me, I can lead you all to a lovely marsh in an area my fellow humans have agreed not to move into. It's much safer for you there, with a plentiful and self-sustaining supply of food.
