Today seems to be the worst of things physically, but mentally I want to do workouts and keep moving forward on my goals. To compromise, I will spend a huge chunk of today planning for when I'm back to 'normal'. I feel ready to create more of a daily routine. Lately, I've been just doing the challenges and programs at random points throughout the day. I think that will stay pretty much the same, but I'd like to have a more solid morning 'warmup' routine and nighttime 'wind-down' routine. The challenges and plans and programs can stay at random points throughout the day as my schedule is extremely varied, but I think starting and ending the same each day will help add some stability and routine to the madness.
Here's what I have so far. I want to have some variety in this, so I'm thinking pick a handful and then choose at least two to do on any given day
Morning Wakeup/Warmup
Kneeling Sun Salutation
Soft Start
Now or Never
Quick Warmup
Firefly
Fighter's Warmup
Light/Easy Program
A Yoga Workout from the catalog
Night Time Wind-Down
Post Workout Mobility
Post Workout Recovery
Burrito Mode
Superhero Stretch
Fighter's Stretching
Yoga for PCOS
Unbound
A Yoga Workout from the catalog
Plans
I would like to incorporate a plan into my routine in the next week or so. I think I will do fighter to start
Programs
Finish up Pathfinder and Unbound (may throw unbound to the end of my night-time routine), restart 30DOY
Challenges
Keep this to three max (not including the dead hang challenge, which I plan to do indefinitely. Once I finish the challenge, I will be starting the 'Touch the Bar' addon plan)
I'm thinking start the day with the morning wakeup, then do the Workout of the Day, Exercise of the Day, one from wind down. Then throughout the day do programs, challenges, and plans, doing one warmup from morning wakeup before (if it's been a while since last warmup, then another cooldown. Then at the end of the night, do remaining night time wind-downs... I like the idea of that, because I've been severely neglecting warming up and cooling down with workouts so far. Now that I'm almost to 60 day streak badge, I think it's time to start prioritizing those.
check-in post with what I do today will likely be done much later, after a sleep/nap
