Well I am absolutely shattered but also so happy I have managed to do a workout, go to work and still have the energy to cook tea, clean and go for a walk around the park with my youngest. There is no way on earth I would have managed that before breaking up for Christmas I just home I can keep it up. I seem to have gained a cough in return for all my hard work tho :( . I had my tracker on the wrong strap when I went for my evening work so I didn't manage to get any heart rate readings so I'm a bit disappointed about that but all in all I have had a good day. I even managed to put some photos in the frame I've had sat on my dressing table for the past 2 months lol.

So tired this morning, I did not want to get out of bed, but I've never been a morning person so getting up early to work out is always going to be a struggle, especially when its cold and dark. Started some decluttering today, I've got some clothing for the charity shop and some toiletries went in the bin, I not mark it off till the items actually make it to the charity shop tho, in total (with the bits decluted from the kids bedroom when decorating) I've got around 5 bin bags and 3 boxes for the charity shop, the house is starting to look alot better but I'm not sure if thats because I am cleaning shelfs ect that haven been cleaned for a while. My items arrived today for my first mini home upgrade too I will get that done at the weekend. excited.

Wednesdays at work are always super busy as it's roast dinner day, fingers crossed I will have enough energy to do my evening walk as I'm usually in bed early. my sons birthday is on Thursday so I will be baking his cake tomorrow too.

I work at the local secondary school, I am the baker. I was just wondering what was your favorite dessert to have at school?? Mine was chocolate cake and pink custard.

Ohh pumpkin pie I've never tasted that, I can not get the ingredients to make that at work but think I'll have to make some at home to try, I really like carrot cake too but the kids at school don't for some reason. The favorite at school seems to be brownies and sprinkle cookies. I try and make healthier options but they arnt bothered at that age lol

Did you at least get different flavoured jello? I make jelly every week and there's never goes to waste.

Lol, no they aren't bothered at that age. Yes, they would mix up the flavors of jello. I think the green and the red were the most often served.

Hi there @Deadoks Thanks, Yeah it's quite a list of challenges to be getting on with but I like that I can move things around and if I've had a busy day or feeling sluggish like the past couple of days I can afford to miss a few out or have a rest day, I'm kinda a all or nothing person lol.

So today is my youngests birthday meaning and I've only just had chance to pop on I've let my exercise slip a bit (and definetly the healthy eating) but I have still managed to get them walks in, yesterday I cut back on the exercise mainly due to tiredness, I was feeling sluggish and overwelmed but I think that was more to do with making everything perfect and getting everything done as this was my first birthday celebration while being in full time work as the eldest is in August (summer holidays here) and previously I was a SAHM that helped out my partner when needed. Today I just hadn't got time for a workout in the morning due to presents being opened etc and when I finished work I had to decorate his cake and had guests so I thought instead of stressing myself out I have a walk to the shop instead of sending someone else and postpone my workout. Definitely eager to get back to it tomorrow though. we are off out for the day on Saturday to a retro computer museum, so plenty of walking there and a busy one at work tomorrow as I will be covering for someone who is off meaning I've got to get all my baking done in 2 hours instead of 4 (should be fun lol) Think Sunday I will spend most of the day in bed lol.

Ah but me too! but for me if I put 10 workout/challenge if I miss one then I think it's a fail then I'm not happy... So I begin very light to be sure I follow good everything I plan.
We all find our way :)

Impressed you could put some workout in a busy day like this and even when you feel tired and so as you said you can do less but still something. Good job!

@Deadoks I try and do my challenges and programs everyday, it's the other bits I tend to move around. I am doing a lot less then I was when I went to the gym every day or when I was working two jobs. I started off with 1 program and just built it up till I was comfortable but I have picked the easiest workouts available, it may be a different story once I up the difficulty a bit.

Today we have been out for the day celebrating my youngests birthday with him being at school on his birthday we visited a hands on computer museum where we could play all the video games we grew up with

Today for my walk I decided to try a run / walk program on my fitness tracker and it made me realise how unfit I still am :sadness: I've ever been a runner and I have got o idea what made me think I should try running (especially after a 45 minute workout) but I completed my first run and hope to get better at running over the next few months, please pray for my poor legs :haha:

As for beginner challenges, a nice set are the Easy series. Easy Cardio, Easy Arms, Easy Core, & Easy Abs. Hopefully one of these will suit your needs.

I agree, the Easy series are nice challenges. I also like Upper body and Upper body Light. Kicks & Punches is great too, maybe the family will join you.
Ohh kicks and punches I may get.my daughter to join in with that one, I will check out the upper body ones too. Thank you :love:
