Breakfast today is peach yogurt, a protein bar, and a banana. This is the second day in a row this has been my breakfast. Sometimes I get "hooked" on certain foods/meals and will eat that exact same thing for a week straight, so I know this is probably going to be the same breakfast I have for the next week.

My foreman at work switch from buying pop to buying a home sparkling water machine. He use to buy pop and eat fast food for lunch, he watched what I brought from home everyday and was inspired to change, he went on to lose a lot of weight.

unfortunately, it costs more to create your own sparkling water than it does to buy it at the store :( Otherwise, I'd love to own one of those!

Last thing I ate was 2 Stonemill cranberry pumpkin seed naturally fermented whole grain bread toasted.

That article lists very different numbers from the ones I've seen elsewhere, hmm

Currently sipping on lemon tea, about to eat a santa fe salad!

Haven't posted recently. But have made some things. More indulgent than health food but all from scratch.
Ratatouille, Japanese milk bread, Marmalade, Maple Syrup, Palmiers, Fish n' chips with coleslaw, falafel on pita-like flatbread, pizza with a 24 hour crust and homemade sauce, massive Easter dinner and bunny carrot cake with lots of ginger.

Made a homemade milkshake. 1% milk, Halo chocolate ice cream, protein peanut butter powder, and 1 tablespoon of chocolate malt powder. Very delicious and decently low calorie (by milkshake standards at least lol).

One-Year anniversary since the last post...lol. I last ate carrot cake! That was about 7 hours ago, Halloween has been distracting. I'm not sure what I'll have for dinner: Candy or a real meal? Lol

Had to try the new Big Arch from Canadian McDonald's, not that I eat fast food often.

Last nights supper was chicken thighs boiled and meat separated then cooked rice stick noodle in that liquid, fry up some Chinese sliced mushroom the chicken and then the noodle, low salt soy sauce finish.

Tofu with something tonight, maybe in a soup. I prefer medium tofu over firm, firm is kinda rubbery.

Breakfast was a gluten free tomato and cheese sandwich, hastily munched and chased by coffee as I got ready for work.

I didn't drink anything but water yesterday because I spent the majority of the day flying and went to 3 different airports to get all my flights. It's a good thing I didn't, because when I was having dinner with my parents (that's who I was flying to spend this long weekend with), my heart seemed to be beating fast and I was just feeling off. Maybe it was because of all the flying and having to carry my heavy bag. I don't know. But when I got back to the hotel by 7:30pm (I detest NC traffic), I just couldn't stomach beer or wine (regardless of the fact I didn't have any in the hotel room, LMAO). It was a good decision on my part, which I don't make often enough.

I do want to mention one of the things I had for dinner last night was brand new to me (a 50+ year old USA born woman, LOL). My parents live in a retirement community (they also have nursing care and skilled nursing care, as well as independent living). I had a spam, egg, and rice sushi roll. I've NEVER had SPAM. Growing up the reputation in my general circle is that it was a bad food item. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that the spam, as well as the other ingredients tasted delicious. Will I buy SPAM? Probably not. But I won't turn my nose up at it in the future.
