Congrats on the challenge and Fit December!
Different sects celebrate Christmas on different dates. So if your family includes people from different traditions, there might well be more than one celebration.I didn't know more than one Christmas is a thing. :0
Is it okay to ask the reason for that? I am not a Christian so naturally I am confused but curious.
Also, why does it not mean more presents? T~T
Bonus Christmases are fun. An old coworker of my mate's hosts a "Russian Christmas" in January every year. I don't fully get why it's called that, but I imagine it's similar. Either way, I always feel a bit mixed; happy for more celebrations but also happy for a break once it's done, haha.

Also: In western countries "Christmas" is often celebrated by completely non-religious people. It's a secular event as much as a Christian one. Aside from the whole gift-giving frenzy, Christmas is a time of families gathering together for many people. But many people have more than one family. So lots of people have celebrations on whatever dates work for whatever group of people they are celebrating with to get together.
Oh I see. The Christian population here is so less. Maybe that's why its not celebrated by everyone here. Yep! We've always called it Russian Christmas as well. That is because my church was, well technically is since the church is still around, an
American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese. Greek Orthodox is also the same as Russian Orthodox so it's easier just to call it Eastern Orthodox.
Now the actual main Russian Orthodox church in Russia has done some fairly recent reprehensible things during this war with Ukraine, but in no way is war/murder a part of the religion. I don't like talking/thinking about these things though, so I really can't elaborate, but my husband told me about it.
Well after I did 54 Knee-To-Elbows (Standing Abs) for @Laura Rainbow Dragon's birthday!
Yikes! Please be careful. And then the guy that salts the ice did not do it next to my car again, so there is this huge ice patch I can't avoid
Thank you, @Laura Rainbow Dragon, and I am! We had a bi-weekly Quality of Service meeting today and at the end, I brought it up. The shipping manager threw some down for me. So it's not all the way better yet, since it was single digits, but it was a big improvement.
I'm sorry. That's really shitty. I hope that place will get its act together and start showing you some love soon.Still a lot of hurt pride for most of the day, and even worse, I found out a girl that started after me got a really big raise in December, while my review did not come
So still trying not to be jealous, which I know is unbecoming, but I'm probably going to end up dropping a wtf to my re-boss at some point since we are both early birds and I'm tired of this bullshit eating away at me.
we watched him chase after his girlfriend, Nermal. He was a little bit happier when he came back. He told us all about it.
Aww. I don't like the cold either, Miyagi. It's harsh out there! He did try fighting me a few times this morning when it was exercise time, but I've learned that if I start circling him, he goes a away not long after.
