Thank you @graoumia , and hugs.

So, Thursday was a day off, and yesterday the office closed, plus my parents arrived from Bretagne to have their former parisian appartment emptied Monday, so time flew.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday did meditation and daily habit.

Thursday, Friday and this morning did 1 minute planl challenge (yep I changed, since I had already done the Standing abs one, LOL) D 1 to 3, and Hatha Yoga 15 mins every morning.

1 year and 28 consecutive days of exercise (one year zero days on 05/04)

Saturday meditation anddaily habit so we're good.

Sunday meditation and daily habit.

Sunday morning and this morning did Exercise of the day, 1 min plank challenge D4 and D5, Sunday restorative yoga, this morning hathat yoga focused on lower back.

1 year and 30 consecutive days of exercise (one year 30 days on 05/05)

Parents have their appartment emptied today and tomorrow. Oh my that reminds me how much moving I have done, and how much I hate it! Trying to provide them some semblant of stability and order by having them eat and sleep at my place.

Biopsy came back. Yep, cancer. not in-situ, and hormono-dependant and HER2-. I have an appointment with an oncologisf for ... Monday 19th of May. That sounds long, but I don't think I could get it any faster at another place.
From what I know of the topic, that means very probably surgery + hormonotherapy. We'll see what they say.
Just saw this post  I wish you a lot of luck and strength the upcoming period!

Thank you @NancyTree and @colin . As you say, Drakarys on those pesky irregular cells!

Monday meditation and daily habit.

This morning did Exercise of the day, 1 min plank challenge D6, and a short yoga sequence.

Monday meditation and daily habit.

This morning did Exercise of the day (reverse lunges), 1 min plank challenge D7, and a 15 mins yoga sequence for pelvic floor.

Parents's appartment is emptied, they should be leaving around noon for Bretagne. It went well, and I think they felt good sleeping at my appartment ;) Luna avoided waking them up this night, except for a little visit where she decided to scratch the carpet (it's a kilim so feels a good deal like sisal to her, I think - I try to offer her another scratch post nearby but no success!) so mom had to stop and shoo her out, LOL.

Grins to @GentleOx , yes, she is sometimes my silly grey velvet girl :hheart:

Dad's sending me plenty of pics of the garden in St malo, and the birdcam (present of my SIL at Christmas, she got an amazing idea there!) ; clearly it does him lots of good to be treated there instead of Paris.

Visited V at the hospital, digestion / stomach pains are still a strong issue, but a change of meds should help this WE. She needs so much patience...

What else ... Oh, I am watching Twin Peaks (thanks to my friend A who lent me the DVDs), and just reached the episode where Laura's killer is revealed. I already knew who / who it was (yep, not a typo, LOL), but didn't know when and how the reveal would be done. Wow... It be the best TV + movie sequence ever. The stuff of nightmares, but so well done! I'd say it is even harder to watch than GOT's red wedding, and at the same time you can't watch away, like in a nightmare where you KNOW it is a nightmare but can't wake up and keep mired into it. Phew.

Wednesday meditation and daily habit.

This morning did Exercise of the day (side planks), 1 min plank challenge D8, and a 15 mins yoga sequence.

1 year and 33 consecutive days of exercise (one year 30 days on 05/05)

@Mr.Javo , I was a tad too young to watch Twin Peaks when it aired, but I followed the X-files ;) The golden age of TV! Dana Scully is my model forever, LOL, and I had a huge crush on Mitch Pileggi/Skinner.

1 year and 36 consecutive days of exercise (one year 30 days on 05/05)

So over the the file I am working on this WE.... They made a sloppy work, and this makes my review and comments quite, quite hard. That's not gonna be a positive report, lemme tell you, folks!

Oh @graoumia , that touches me. At least just one day of work left!

Yesterday meditation and daily habit.

This morning Eod (elbow plank with arm raises), 1 min plank challenge D16, and 15 mins hatha yoga. Interesting to notice the differences in explanations / details from the various teachers in the videos.

Dearest Wolfie,

I must apologize. I have been away from the site and am only seeing your news today. I am sending virtual hugs and best wishes for the journey ahead of you and also continued good thoughts for your father, your family, and your friend V.

So much you are dealing with now! But I know you are a strong wolf. Please do reach out for help where you can--to us to talk/vent, certainly, but also to your family. (I know they are already dealing with a lot. But you are close. They will want to be there for you, yes?)

I hope today's meeting went well and you will soon be on the road to recovery.

 :vibes:

Thank you all so much, including but not limited to @graoumia (thanks for the exercises!) @Fremen , @Louve Rose , @Maegaranthelas , @Mamatigerj and dear dragon @Laura Rainbow Dragon . Your support means a lot! And yep, will probably vent here quite regularly, since you all make it a real safe and supportive place.
Love ya all!

So, the contact with the surgeon was very good, getting good information and nice vibes from him. He'd like to shrink some the tumor with pre-adjuvant chimiotherapy, which I did not expect, but he will run that through the staff and also through my cardiology team as some of these anticancer drugs can be quite dangerous for the heart, to have a better estimation of benefit risk of the different chemos and doing more or less surgery on me vs. my irritable ticker-tocker. Well, good that I picked the hospital where my cardiology team is, LOL!

They want to run some additional exams on me this week , and see me next Monday to tell me what the staff decided, which is good for decision taking , but is also throwing a wrench in my plans : I was supposed to leave tomorrow evening for St Malo, telecommute, spend Mother's day (next Sunday in France) with my parents, and come back Monday. I have already changed the return to Sunday end of day, and crossing fingers to know fast the other exams the next days...

Exercise wise, I still did:
daily habit and meditation Friday - Saturday - Sunday - yesterday (yep, that helps!)

And exercise of the day every day Saturday to this morning; as well as 1 min plank challenge - now complete to day 20. Also some yoga, 10 to 20 mins.

This makes for 1 year and 45 consecutive days of exercise (one year 30 days on 05/05)

I just read your message and wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about what you're going through. I'm glad to hear that your meeting with the surgeon went well and that you’re in good hands having your cardiology team in the same hospital really sounds like a big plus.

I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have your plans disrupted, especially with your upcoming trip and Mother’s Day. I hope they can give you the full schedule of exams soon so you can still enjoy some time with your parents.

Wishing you lots of strength for everything ahead. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that the medical team finds the best possible approach for you.

Take care

Thank you @NancyTree

So, daily habit, meditation, EoD, 1 min plank challenge and daily yoga have managed to continue through this crazy time.
Spent the WE with my parents, for Mother's day, we celebrated mom pretty well :)

So, due to some not so good results from the PET-scan, and the cardiologist not liking much their chemotherapy plans, we are heading toward hormonotherapy, apparently. I am seeing the doctor for this tomorrow. That would postpone surgery to ... some other date. We will see what that doc says tomorrow.

Thank you @graoumia , @Louve Rose , @Mamatigerj , @NancyTree @CODawn , @Fremen and @Jaga .

So, got a long discussion and the prescription for my treatment - not a straightforward one, I can tell you! I can really start 3 out of 4 once a town nurse can show me the specifics to use two of the products in subcutaneous (I know how to do a SC, but every device may have their little nuances, so better to be coached the first time). For the "main" drug, which is an oral anticancer drug - not hormonotheray in my book, I need to have a day of therapeutic coaching at the hospital and the first is mid June... I asked if I still could start, as I am a pharm.D, yada yada, we will see.
Oh, for one of the SC, I also had to get the green light from my dentist ; he was a sweetie and took me between two patients yesterday to do the exam and certificate. I have been seeing him for the last 13 years twice a year (one of the joys of having a malformed heart!) so he knows every inch of my mouth and teeth and jaw, and any weakness on it, LOL!

Exercise wise, daily habit, meditation, EoD, 1 min plank challenge up to D 29 and daily yoga were done

1 year and 54 consecutive days of exercise (one year 30 days on 05/05)

Thank you @graoumia . yeah, not the simplest of prescriptions, specially if you add that I also have drugs for my heart. Good thing I am a pharmacist, LOL!
BTW, I discussed Tuesday evening with a dear friend, also pharmacist, who works at the central pharmacy for the parisian hospitals (pharmacie centrale de l'APHP), and she told me one of her colleagues, under a very similar breast cancer, has near-exactly the same treatment from one of the two top cancer centers in Paris (VilleJuif Gustave Roussy). That shows that my own hospital follows indeed the lastest research.

For work, they've put me in work leave for the first month of treatment, to deal calmy with secundary effects. I will finish some works, but some will be .... postponed, and one taken by a colleague. Maybe that'll really show our management how badly understaffed we were already.

Thank you all for your encouragements. I managed to nab a nurse yesterday and got the first injection, the one that'll put me into menopause. The treatment has officially started.

Exercise wise, daily habit, meditation, EoD, 1 min plank challenge up to D 30 :star: and daily yoga were done both days.
