Thanks for sharing your story, it is amazing, and very inspiring. Congratulations for having done all this to be in good health. And thanks for being part of Darebee famaily too, I like reading your activity, and looking at your picture, he (she?) is so cute@Fremen @anaek @graoumia @astro_lizard @HellYeah @NightTigress @aku-chan @Mamatigerj Thank you all.
2000 days ago my country went into the first Covid lockdown and we decided that it would be nice to do some workouts at home, as a family. I already used Darebee as a resource every now and then, and the programs and challenges were very well suited for our needs. It’s more than 5 years later now. My son and my partner have their own work out routines nowadays. For some reason I stuck to the daily Darebee stuff. I have more active periods with lots of running and hiking and periods in which I don’t feel like doing very much apart from the prevention exercises I keep on doing every day. Those have helped me a lot by the way. Due to the hand grip exercises I nowadays don’t have to run to others whenever I want to have a lid unscrewed. The rotator cuff workout has brought back almost all of the flexibility in my right shoulder. Before I started my right arm was 15 years causing me slight trouble due to a very stupid accident involving an off road motorcycle and a shallow ditch. My energy for exercising goes up and down with my mental health, stress level and workload. On the other hand, just doing a bit every day also helps with stress and lifts me up when I’m down. When I look at others in my age group I’m pretty pleased with my overall fitness. I’m flexible and I’ve to admit I’d feel better if I lost some more of those post menopause kilos but hey, even when I haven’t ran for a few weeks I have no trouble doing a 5k and I hardly ever have any physical trouble. I know I have a lot of luck regarding my physical health and capabilities, but it’s also my weird Darebee addiction.
Again, thank you all for being here and being my distant online fitness family.
