Journey 2400

Hi everyone :) I've been dipping in and out of Darebee for years. Recently, I've been on a weight loss journey and have lost 2 stone. But I want another one, and exercise is what is going to get me there.

So I want to use this space for accountability. I need to generally take care of myself - sleep well, eat well and exercise. I'd love to see where I am in a year, if I do 10k steps a day and 15mins strength training. The latter is becoming more important as I age, and I'm tired of not being able to do a sit up, when a few years ago I could do 50 without breaking a sweat.

I'm likely to be a post-a-day kind person...maybe less often if life is hectic. Grateful for the space to focus on me.

Okay, so not going as well as I hoped. Monday I did go for a walk at tea, but not lunch. I had the school run, so I got to 9.5k steps. No strength. Yesterday, no walks it I did the school run and the midweek shop, 8k steps, no strength. Today I'm not going to get it. 4k steps and it's nearly 6pm. I did do some strength though so that's good.

(Dunno if these tags will work, but I'm trying them anyway)

At least you did some. It's not what you were planning, but it's better than nothing. :)
