Yesterday I had to go to sleep very early as I woke up at 5:30 today
Today I had to go to the office which is 3 hours away and just got back super exhausted
Somehow this little workout was harder for me than the ride yesterday even though yesterday I spent like 25 minutes in heart rate zone 4.
I think it's because of breathing, during HIIT I always get out of breath instantly, I never managed or knew how to pace my breathing and each time I tried breathing exercises I seem to fail.
Does anyone have some resources/tips on breathing?
Well, let's see... For that day, for climbers I'd breathe in on Right / left, then out on a second right / left (a full breath is 4 climbers, if you prefer).
For the plank hold, mostly slow breathing being sure to control my diaphragm.
For the side planks, a little harder, exhale when going floor to side plank, inhale when doing back from side plank to floor.
This one is interesting, it didn't make me get out of breath. Even though jumping jacks are cardio intensive from my point of view and they both manage to make me sweat and to get my heart in zone 5 I don't hate them. They don't leave me struggling for breath as high knees do. I wonder why
I had my watch fastened better today and it's so cute how I can see the 7 sets
