Thanks guys <3

@FlowersandPetals oh man if this continues I DEFO gotta look into that. I remember back when I was a wee fishling we had oatmeal baths to help with chicken pox so I'm guessing it's the same principle?

1,290 - HALL PASS TIEM. But I did do five sets of the squat holds and the bends. Also, 50/600 squats for that ornament Y'ALL KNEW I WAS GONNA SQUAT

680 - Got a few minutes in!

Good thing - Well I'm still itching, I think I messed it up by taking an epsom salt bath (for like, three minutes until I realized I goofed) since I heard that those can help relieve skin things... BUT ALSO SOMEONE APOLOGIZED TO ME TODAY FOR A FRICKUP THEY DID LAST MONTH AND MY GOD DID THAT MAKE ME FORGET THAT I HAD SKIN FOR A WHILE. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Cooper status - I had to bribe him in this morning because he was eating snow. He loves snow. Like. A lot. He will have to pee a frickton later due to his snow intake due to the concept of snow being water. He, of course, cares not, and will eat this stuff like it's free (because it kind of is).

Cooper, thank you for the suggestion. But Shelby said no to the flame thrower. She does not want anything that scary and dangerous in our home.

Also: thank you for your offer to eat the snow. That is most generous (and ambitious) of you. However: snow that has been dragged around by a plough is pretty dirty and not healthy to consume. We want the snow gone. But we do not want you to get sick!

@Laura Rainbow Dragon Cooper says, "the flamethrower is outdoor use only so theoretically it should not be in the home, however I'm assuming storage is the concern."
.
1,291 - Fit December day 11, 10 side to side lunges since new Pokemon in GO, and now I am at 150/600 squats.

681 - Few minutes in!

Good thing - Weekend is soon... I can't wait to just, sleep in and be dead to the world haha. Sleeping in sounds heavenly since I've actually been sleeping well-ish lately and I wanna keep DOING IT

Cooper status - Fluff boy got many helper pieces at dinner tonight, as he is the best helper!

Right. We live in a pretty good neighbourhood. But storing something like that just out in the open where anyone could help themselves to it... Usually it's just squirrels and skunks, maybe the odd coyote, wandering into our backyard without permission. But better not to take any chances with a flame thrower, yeah?

@Laura Rainbow Dragon Maybe the squirrels, skunks and odd coyote want to have some s'mores. In winter. Y'know. Like normal animals. I say give them tiny, tiny flame- nah the bit is over but I am imagining a cute little campfire scene.

682 - Few minutes in!

Good thing - FRIDAY TOMORROW and I am not itching as much yay

Who, me???? :freak:

Sorry!
You are the least most sorry human being on this universe. You assigned to me, a certified disliker of jumping jacks, jumping jacks with enough glee in your heart to power the entirety of Beijing for months on end if said glee was turned into green energy.

4 + 9 + 1 + 3 + 15 + 5 + 20--

you... you can get through your yarn stash in a week? :whaa:
I have so many projects lined up it will take me ages! Let alone my fabric stash :sit:
I used 10 m of fabric in a massive coat (includes lining) but then bought 30m of fabric :tap:

Also yay for learning planks! Stairs are also an acceptable place to perform plank

I guess the benefit of sewing almost all my own clothes is that my crafting budget gets extended by my clothing budget :amused:
In the past few years I have bought underwear, three band shirts, and one or two secondhand things per year.
The rest is just reams of fabric and miles of yarn :ohyes:
(no really, I have some fabulous cotton yarn cakes that are 1000m each. Takes months to finish a shawl and you get so nervous at the end if you even have enough!)

@Maegaranthelas In a week? No. But, it'd be a good start... And I also am just feeling lazy haha. 30m of fabric though... ... I mean, that's three jackets... Maybe you just have to cycle the jackets or something. I'm smart.

... I should spend less on clothes though, but Vapor95 (I AM NOT SPONSORED) (I WISH I WAS THO) just, has such cool graphics... AGH

1,303 - FD day 23, five minute walk workout and I FORGOT THE LUNGES FROM YESTERDAY SHI-

1,304 - ahahahahah okay so, merry xmas eve i got into a car accident. p sure my car is totaled, and i am Unhappy. i'm physically okay, just sore, other person is okay, basically black ice is a bitch and i am never driving a coworker home again bye. I took a hall pass for the day so that's all anyone's getting out of me for now.

I'm alive. I'm upset, but alive. I'll hopefully do my Secret Santa stuff soon, I'm just, not priority right now.

694 - Did get some in as an attempt to call myself down.

So uh. Yeah.

Black ice sucks.

And I should be allowed a flamethrower.

Oh my goodness, F1shie, I am so glad you're alive and not too badly hurt
What a rotten way to experience xmas, but I am certainly grateful we didn't lose you. Life can be over way too soon.
And @Syrius is right, no pressure on the exercise front at all, just take care of yourself as best you can and give Cooper all the snuggles

I love you guys. I'm... Sore and tired, I'm mostly upset that this happened over some friggin' ice.

1,305 - Hall pass, 30 squats due to shiny Mankey on Pokemon Sleep. So that's something.

695 - I attempted ten minutes for my secret Santa and I'm still pretty frazzled and distracted. Oop. I GOT SOME IN THO.

Good thing - Well. I mean. I didn't get into another car accident today! And everyone liked my gifts :)

Cooper status - OH HE IS FUSSING OVER ME HAAAAARDCORE, but it's okay, it's so sweet.

Alright kids. So we have to work tomorrow. Not ideal. But I'm gonna tell insurance, "yeah my car is obliterated because ice. please help. love you mwah."

I spent christmas morning emailing companies too xD
The compression stockings were indeed the colours I ordered but all the rest was wrong :tears:
And the building-inspection company sent me a letter that they are coming to inspect the finished work on January 6th.
It's not going to be finished by them, sillies, try again some other time :muahaha:

@Maegaranthelas Loooordy, that doesn't sound fun.

@Mamatigerj thanks mama <3

1,306 - Managed to do FD day 26, and 30 calf raises.

696 - Punched out a few minutes here and there.

Good thing - Insurance stuff is going... Alright I guess. Got a rental today. I still feel so terrible, though. Like no, no, it wasn't my fault that there was friggin' black ice, but Jesus Chriiiiist. I don't think anyone'd hold it against me if I largely avoid doing things like going out for a while.

Cooper status - And of course, the fluff boy is worried for me. But he's also making me feel better.

1,307 - FD day 27, now I'm gonna sleep.

697 - Few moments of meditation.

Good thing - So, apparently liable is just... Someone needs to be liable, even if it wasn't their fault, per se. Like, if a giant had thrown my car at someone else's car, I'd still be liable, as I was in my car.

At least now tho I can sleep in.

Cooper status - Still worried for me. Sweetest little guy. Definitely gonna get so many cuddles tomorrow.

1,308 - FD day 28 NOW TIME FOR BED GOODNIGHT

698 - Few minutes here and there.

Good thing - Managed to drive to the post office today int he rental without having an anxiety attack so that was cool! But man, I need more music recommendations... See, my rental doesn't have Sirius XM radio, and so I gotta plug in my phone to use spotify, right? What do you guys recommend I listen to in these trying times? I admit, I do love me some power metal... I swear, when fall comes around every year my personality becomes intertwined with Powerwolf's discography.

Cooper status - Fluff boy is still concerned. But he loves you too.

Hmm... I don't know if you would appreciate my musical suggestions as I listen mostly to contemporary folk. Also: I am old school. I still listen to music on CDs. (Most of which I purchased directly from the musicians at a live performance. Having a personal connection with the people who made the music, and a fond memory of that shared experience, always makes the music more meaningful for me.)

My latest acquisition is Boreal's brand spanking new Winterbirds CD. (Fair warning: the first song on the album is about winter driving in scary conditions. It's a true story with a happy ending, thanks to a person being a decent human being and taking the time to help a total stranger, just because they could.)

My music for when anxious tends to be Wilson & Wakeman, a pair of musicians who do a lot of metal but this is very gentle, more folky stuff.
Although when I need a burst of energy it's more like
Wacky Germans with bagpipes. Or
uhm, even wackier Germans with bagpipes :muahaha:

@Laura Rainbow Dragon Listen if cars still came with CD thingies I'd be so happy. I love my CDs-- Hey! If you're calling yourself old school for that, am I old school too?

@Maegaranthelas GERMANS WITH BAGPIPES? OH MY GOD YES

1,309 - FD day 29 and some yoga! Figured that'd help me.

699 - Still got a few minutes down, yay.

Good thing - Spent a lot of the day crocheting socks. Still eternally haunted by Christmas Eve.

Cooper status - fluff boy checking in on me. d'aw. good boy, cooper. best fluff boy <3
