Notes:
I was sick overnight with some sort of stomach bug (or food poisoning?) so I called in sick and slept most of the day. I did Neck Mobility before bed to keep up the streak.
Notes:
I was feeling much better today, although my appetite has not yet fully returned. We attended the wedding of one of my coworkers, which was really fun. Unfortunately we were rear-ended on the way to the wedding, which was not fun. Luckily no one was injured and the damage to my car was relatively minor. We still made it to the wedding in time for the ceremony!
Notes:
Today my mom and I participated in a 4 mile race (we walked instead of running) at the Colorado Springs zoo. This was our fourth year doing this event together! Unfortunately I aggravated my foot during the walk and it is quite sore. The ball of my left foot has actually been bothering me since mid-March, but seemed to be improving with strengthening exercises and wearing a metatarsal pad. For some reason, I decided not to wear my metatarsal pad during today's walk, which in hindsight was not a smart decision.
Notes:
I tried a shortish walk today wearing my metatarsal pad. My foot felt okay, but I'm realizing that I probably need to stay off of it more than I have been if I want it to heal, especially after yesterday. I'm so used to walking outside every day, and it is hard for me to accept that I may need to hold of on going for walks for a bit. I'm also frustrated because I don't know why it started hurting in the first place (back in mid-March), as I don't remember injuring it or anything.
