AM- slept poorly, awake a lot in the night, partly due to Canoe pacing and pawing and partly because of prednisone I had taken at dinner. So, woke up at nearly 7am (PDT) when Canoe wanted to join us on the bed. He’s so happy dad is home, he was on dad’s lap as soon as we were up and sitting with coffee😂

AM- woke up super late at nearly 8am (PDT). After I was up in the wee hours, I could t get back to sleep due to some of my chronic pain issues: achiness/zinginess….*everything everywhere all at once*😫. Not the movie. Me. My hands, forearms, legs, feet. No change of position did any good. If my feet didn’t hurt so bad, I would have gotten up to take something additional. Now that I am up for the day and moving around, having my morning *aids* it feels tolerable, finally. Night time is the worst for pain…..

AM- awake at 7:30am (PDT), after 9 hours of sleep. Feeling quite a bit better today, thankfully. Foot still hurts, but not as bad, and most of the achiness is gone. Spent some much needed reconnection time with husb, which always helps my emotional state. This, in turn is reflected in my body’s condition. Who knew?🫣🙄

AM- slept hard until almost 7:30 (PDT). I think Canoe needed the long sleep, too after FOUR vaccines yesterday, poor thing. Plus, we had him practice wearing his muzzle in the crowded waiting room, and staying in our space with other dogs nearby. Omg, it was stressful! Husb had a nap after that, but I never got one😩. I made up for it by sleeping 9+ hours🥱😅

AM- awake at 6:45am (PDT), and immediately off to the clinic for fasting lab work. Ugh, I hate going anywhere before coffee and its results😒. Took Canoodles along for a different outing. He got to prowl around the parking lot before they opened. Then on the way home, we stopped at the dog park to practice NOT BARKING in the parking lot😵‍💫. He did his business, and then found a gross ball he wanted me to throw. After a few rounds of that, we went to the park near our house, and he ran some more, after practicing NOT BARKING in that parking lot. Oof, he’s a tough nut to crack😒😤
