Turkeys have gone wild! Somehow they must have heard about Thanksgiving and organized a prison break. As every prison drama film buff knows the weakest spot in any chain of custody is transportation and this is no exception. In the great Turkey Train derailment 10,000 feathery inmates broke free and must now be apprehended. Lucky for them Bees have a heart. We may catch those who escaped because, let's face it, we don't want the world to be overrun by Turkeys, the widespread prevalence of Turkey droppings alone is enough to disturb the delicate balance of power of most cityscapes and then there is the fact that Turkeys are notorious rule breakers and disruptors of peace.

So, no, we won't stand for it. But, we won't be heartless either. Understanding the Turkeys' plight we shall release all those we catch to the TURSEC (The definition of which as provided by Turkeypedia is: "Turkey Security Program, known by the acronym TURSEC, which provides Turkeys and their families with protective services to ensure their health, safety, and security."

The thing is Turkeys are hard to catch! They pivot on a dime. They move really fast and once they're moving their trajectory is unpredictable which makes it extremely difficult to follow. Were not for the feathers, the droppings and the fact that their upkeep all-year-round ain't cheap, we're confident they'd be the world's top fitness aid. Those chasing them require speed, agility and endurance plus a little bit of luck which is why we've given you three separate means to help round up all 10,000 of these feathery fitness aids. All you now have to do is take a deep breath, roll up your sleeves and dive into this year's Turkey Run!

Total Number of Turkeys we had to catch: 10,000

"Striving to be the change."
Oh no! We cannot allow all of those turkeys to run around in the wild!
Releasing domestic animals into the wild is both bad for the animals and bad for the environment you release them into.
I will do my part to catch some turkeys and send them off safely to the turkey sanctuary.

30 burpees = 60 turkeys lovingly delivered into safety

I chose to do butt kicks purely for the fun of it. The excitement of not knowing what was inside the box made the exercise enjoyable, so I ended up doing 400 butt kicks (with intervals, of course). The best part? The box turned out to be either empty or filled with one of my least favorite insects. In the end, I managed to discover 26 turkeys. What a blast!
