M wants me to be brave and try to put out a story into the world. 🫣 Tbh, it's a little scary to me because then people are going to judge my writing, but on the other hand, it would be really cool too. 🤷‍♀️ Haven't made up my mind on this yet.

Okay, I pulled Zen back in again. I decided that since one of my Habitica Challenges this month was daily meditation, it was the perfect time for it. My meditation focus is relaxing meditations, sleep meditations, and walking meditations. I like walking meditations because (a) the act of moving and meditating is such an interesting experience and (b) it makes me walk and walk slow. Apparently, I have decided that while doing laundry is the time to do squats. Don't know why, but there is something about it that works for me, so I let myself lean into it and get a few days of Squats done even though my Punches isn't caught up to it anymore. Though, my legs are now experiencing this tiredness across the top of my thighs. Overall, working out tomorrow might be amusing.

@Laura Rainbow Dragon Thank you! It was a little tough, but since I am committed to seeing this one through to the end, it just doesn't feel extra difficult. If anything, I am still using NaNo crawls to help me find the motivation to continue.

Part of the problem with going to the store after work is that at this time of year, the population of my town has doubled in size. I'm really not kidding, there are twice as many people here during the winter. And I'm an intorvert at heart, living in a small* town. So going to the store involves lots of congested traffic, plus people buying all the things I am/was looking for (this time, it was the kale that I need to do the smoothies again)**, and clogging up the aisles because they stop to chat and block the whole aisle. So, unfortunately, I am doing the store thing again tonight, for the third night in a row, but this time to the store all the way in town in hopes that we can find 2 bundles of kale.

Can the winter visitors please go home now? I know they won't, but I wish they would.

** Doing smoothies again because they were actually pretty good and M really wants to do them again.

Where I was living for the past 15 years, the stores were never busy. (Small community with population < 5000 year-round.) Now that I am back in a city, the stores are definitely crowded during the end-of-day-shift couple of hours. (I thought the culture shock of being back in crowds again would bother me. But there are so many things about being back in Wortley that I love, it hasn't done. Also, in fairness, I'm usually able to avoid shopping during the busiest times.) When I had an office job though, my dilemma was: If I don't go shopping, I'll have nothing in the house to eat. But if I do go shopping, I'll arrive home tired and too late to cook, so I'll have nothing in the house to eat.

When I had an office job though, my dilemma was: If I don't go shopping, I'll have nothing in the house to eat. But if I do go shopping, I'll arrive home tired and too late to cook, so I'll have nothing in the house to eat.
This!!! Yes!! After working for 10 hours, then going to the store, it just feels like cooking afterwards is such an impossibility.

Got myself motivated to do the squats again. I would have done at least one day of Punches, but the B12 shot today made my shoulder extra yucky feeling. Feels a lot better now, 12 hours later. Hopefully I'll get that back in gear starting tomorrow.

Overall, I felt pretty good about today, other than a lack of chores, but again, arm. Tomorrow will be better and hopefully I'll get some better, more restful sleep tonight.
