So behind but I’m not going to try to catch things up. I’ll just give a few updates.
Continued my yoga streak by doing the Yoga with Adriene 7 Minute Bedtime Yoga, my go to, with the exception of November 29. That day, I did:
♡ Kyra Pro 14 Minute Selena Gomez Walking Workout
♡ MadFit 5 Minute Lean Legs Workout
♡ Yoga for Encouragement with Adriene Mishler
♡ Daniela Suarez 7 Minute After Workout Stretch
My legs did not enjoy that workout. Turns out, focusing on yoga (actual yoga, not just bedtime yoga for the streak) was super helpful when it came to my legs.
And my yoga streak only lasted until December 1. I’m not going to go too much into things right now, but it’s been rough. I have no energy. I’m just getting back to a “normal” and even that is far below where I was.
Moving on from this conversation, I made an impulse purchase a while back (meaning I bought something I had in a cart online for a while, tried to find in stores, didn’t, and eventually broke down and bought it because it here were two other things I really wanted that I also didn’t find in stores). And this doesn’t include the three impulse purchases I made in-store (a young adult novel, a canvas that you have to paint that already has the design on it but it’s not paint by numbers, and an already done canvas that says “Here Comes the Sun” and if you don’t know why I
had to have that, it’s nice to meet you!
) Two things were books (because I have an addiction). One of the books is a children’s book that deal with folklore surrounding nature, because I find those things interesting! Haven’t read it, but flipped through it and the artwork is gorgeous! The other one was a Disney storybook advent calendar. I have no kids in my life. I’ve never had an advent calendar before. I didn’t need one. But it’s just adorable. The books are really little and can’t have much substance (haven’t read any of those yet either) but the novelty of it appealed to me. My plan was to read a book a day (after catching up because I didn’t get it until this Tuesday) but here it is the 10th and I haven’t read a thing.
The other impulse purchase? An adjustable weighted hula hoop. I have never
- never - been able to hula hoop. I’ve watched YouTube videos a few years back to try to learn. Didn’t help. And yet, here I am, trying again. I heard that weighted ones are supposed to be easier. For the record, when I finally tested it out yesterday, I only got about four rotations before it fell. Which is my usual. And I didn’t plan on recording it as a workout on my watch, because I was just testing it after all, but even that was a freaking workout. Won’t make that mistake again! And I know the more I practice the better I will be. Hopefully…
