Thank you @WolfDreamer .
I spent a good time with my parents. Dad's still very stoic, I really admire him. We had good discussions about their finances, though it is definitly not over. Mom's mood is really low, intersped with outbursts of anger - I know her patterns so no surprise (and not taking it personally), I hope our discussions helped her too.

So, Friday no walking, but Saturday did walk my 5,000 steps, meditation, personal habit.
With the trip, I'd count that as an OK week.

Sunday did not walk quite enough, but good on meditation and personal habit.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Today) did Arms challenge D8 - 9 - 10, and 30 days of cardio light D8 - 9 - 10.

310 consecutive days of exercise (D300 on 31/01).

It's not uncommon when one partner in a marriage is seriously ill for the non-ill partner to have a harder time mentally/emotionally dealing with the situation. (This was certainly the case with my parents too.) Kudos to you for being able to keep a level head. Also:

Yesterday did walking, meditation and daily habit.

This morning Arms challenge D13, and 30 days of cardio light D13.

Very true, @Laura Rainbow Dragon ; add to that the breton tendancy to depression in my maternal line (she's like her mom/ my grandma, and I tend very much too, also, though I try to keep an eye on it), and her vision loss - it's tough for her.

313 consecutive days of exercise (D300 on 31/01).

This morning Arms challenge D18, 30 days of cardio light D18.

Not my days, not my week... but we'll grit our teeth, shake our fist and proclaim loudly, "Science will win!".

Yesterday didn't walk - all my crazy Monday counted double, sorry not sorry. Meditation and daily habit done.

This morning Arms challenge D20, 30 days of cardio light D20.

320 consecutive days of exercise (D300 on 31/01).

I managed to rest some yesterday, which was good, but woke up with a big sinus-caused headache this morning. Blah. I have put some days for a 4-days WE early March, but hopefully I can also take tomorrow off - Monday to Wednesday are gonna be very busy workwise so no way I can take Monday off, but it depends if I can clarify and finish a task today. We'll see. And I can't quite plan my week off late march / early April since it will depend on dad's state. Oh well, live in the present day!

Hugs to all bees here, and Mademoiselle Luna sends purrs.

I was able to take Friday off, that's good, I feel much better now. Thanks all for the hugs and encouragements. I had hot chocolate with a very good friend yesterday, and then had a colleague : becoming friend's birthday. It was his 50th birthday and he is an extrovert as I have rarely seen, LOL, so the little restaurant was packed! It was fun, and I came back home early enough for a restful night.

Today rest, watching "the night of the generals" with Peter O'Toole (in a not nice role), Donald Pleasance, Omar Sharif... What actors those were!

Thursday walked, meditation, daily habit.
Friday did not walk, meditation, daily habit.
Yesterday walked (a lot), meditation, daily habit.

So, not quite enough walking - again, but good for the other goals.

Friday, Saturday, and today Arms challenge D21 - 22 - 23, 30 days of cardio light D21 - 22 - 23.

323 consecutive days of exercise (D300 on 31/01).

Yesterday Sunday walked, meditation, daily habit.

This morning Arms challenge D24, 30 days of cardio light D24.

324 consecutive days of exercise (D300 on 31/01).

Very busy days today and tomorrow having to be able to defend 4 different topics in front of international comittees if there are questions, so need to stay connected / up to date to where the meeting is at, in case (timelines can fluctuate a lot!). One of them should be ... interesting. We'll see.

Yesterday Wednesday walked - yeah, and did meditation and daily habit.

Weather was so much better so I was able to do some grocery shopping at noon + get a yummy japanese meal to-go (takoyaki-don, sorry for the spelling).
Yesterday evening got a phone call. Remember my friend V, who I met a year ago when hospitalised ; and visited frequently as she had to be back at the hospital ? That was her sister informing me they got the heart for her. No other call this morning or message so I assume the last minute tests were good, and she is undergoing / has undergone the transplant. Prayers, good vibes, all you can for V, please, as well as for the donor's family. I'll tell you more when I know.

Thank you so much @Mamatigerj , @FlowersandPetals , and all those who clicked on my post. The organ was fine with the last checks , so surgery started around 4 AM (yesterday Thursday) and lasted a whoooping 14h. Yeah, you read that right, fourteen. Those teams are superheros, I think! The transplant appeared to work well enough that she didn't need another extracorporeal aid / ECMO for the moment, and the first day will be critical. In her case, it is in particular how the lungs will react to the new blood flow. (hid for all those who don't like surgery / bodily details). Medicine is amazing. So we wait today to see.

Yesterday I went to the bodypump class, meditated, and did daily habit.

This morning Arms challenge D28, 30 days of cardio light D28.

328 consecutive days of exercise (D300 on 31/01).

So, my friend V is progressing very well - stil in ICU but not intubated anymore, can eat a little bit, and drink (and that means her new heart can handle the additional water, yay!!!). Thank you for all clicks, thoughts and prayers.

Friday and Saturday walked, meditated, did daily habit
Makes two days not walking last week ; not great, and with better weather I shouldn't have more excuses.

Sunday walked, meditated, daily habit. Singing felt great!

Saturday and Sunday Arms challenge D290and 30, 30 days of cardio light D29 and 30. :completed:

This morning Atlas challenge easy form, easy level D1(I may try the intermediate form at least on the left side / left knee front, righr knee back and slightly up) but all that will depend on my knees's reaction., and Momentum D1.

331 consecutive days of exercise (D330 on 02/03).

Thank you @Laura Rainbow Dragon , @Mamatigerj , @Anek , @CODawn and @Obsinosterous !

Monday and Tuesday walked my 5,000 steps, daily habit, meditation.

Yesterday and today Atlas challenge regular form (knee in the air) 30 secs each side - D2 and D3, and Momentum D2 and D3.
Feels like this "regular" Atlas posture makes me work on stabilizing my knees, which actually may be very good for that bad-tempered right knee. I may try prolonge to 1 min each side, but we'll see, overdoing it would be bad too.

333 consecutive days of exercise (D330 on 02/03). Funny number :chuckle: And yeah, suddently realizing the one year mark is in about one month (logic since it lines up with my arrythmia ablation). Nearly there, wolvie, keep it up!

Friday and Saturday walked, meditation, daily habit.
Which makes for a good week!

Yesterday morning Atlas Challenge D13, and Momentum D13.

Yesterday was lots of fun - I went with my best friend to a genealogy salon, and we even followed two special talks, including one on a AI tool to be integrated in our favorite genealogy software, shoud make for good additions to my tree. Also met people from different associations I subscribe to / follow (departments or group of origin for my family) ; and met my Godmother, who is also an avid genealogist so we knew we'd run into each other.
But the minus ... Walking on cobbled stones, my right food decided to slip, and yay, you know what this means for this wolf : my right knee acted up, very ... loudly. That annoys me to no end : for something non-vital, why is the pain so sharp?! Silly body! Anyhow, to give it a chance to rest, I won't walk in the next days (walking back home yesterday was a litteral pain) and put Momentum on pause. Atlas, in the easiest form, is still fine, even stabilizing so I continue it.
Tuesday I gotta go to the office so that'll be the test.

This morning Atlas challenge easy form, 30 secs D14, and for upper body:

level II

344 consecutive days of exercise (D330 on 02/03).

Thank you @Anek . It's definitly not a time in my life where I want to have to go to the kine for 10 weeks, so ... let's cross our fingers. So far it's quite better, tomorrow going to the office (with two laptops in my backpack) will be the test. But I hope strongly giving it a week of real rest will set things right...

So, no walking (won't even mention it anymore until next Sunday, I think), but meditation and daily habit done Sunday.

This morning Atlas D15 (knee on the floor + 30 secs seems fine), and for upper body, level II:

345 consecutive days of exercise (D330 on 02/03).

Yesterday Tuesday meditation and daily habit.
Did Atlas D16 (knee on the floor + 30 secs seems fine), and for upper body, level II:

My knee did fine, apparently the immediate rest + Atlas is a good combo to get it back to normal ASAP. Ooff.
No additional news on V...

346 consecutive days of exercise (D330 on 02/03). (not counting today yet)

ETA : did Atlas challenge D17 and at level II

Makes for 347 consecutive days of exercise (D330 on 02/03).
