*And just like that, my plan is undone! When i originally saw this, my thought was that it would be perfect for me to do in October and November after i get back from my vacation. But then, i saw in the comments that so many Bee-friends would be doing it in September, and i didn't want to miss out! I am starting it early, though, because i wont be able to do it 24 Sep - 1 Oct. ~I hope @NightTigress will forgive me.:peek:

@Mamatigerj and @graoumia: You are forgiven. I half expected that we'd find some pawprints in the sand once we push open the doors to the labyrinth on September 1st. And I'm assuming we might cross paths in there in any case. Will you carve some arrows in the walls on where to go?

@graoumia: Will you be following in @Mamatigerj's pawprints or making your own path? If the latter please re-open your check-in thread so I can keep track of where you're walking.

The Iron Cogs level II ~i spent a lot of time Monday with pencil and grid paper, sketching out a pretty little map of the route i wanted to take, trying to make it look as labyrinthian as i could, knowing that i might run into obstacles and not be able to stick to it. Thankfully that did not happen today, as the only option available to me was the one i had hoped to take.

Dear MamaTiger, if you’re planning to start learning Tai Chi casually and from home, I recommend the YouTube channel of Dr. Andrew von Plitt. I’ve checked out several teachers who explain Tai Chi on youtube, and he’s the one I liked the most. I started with the 10-form sequence also known as MamaTiger :) and you can watch playlist here, step by step.

Andrew has a pleasant appearance and a soothing voice, and you can tell from his movements that he truly masters the art. He explains everything step by step, which is why I liked him the most. As for the spiritual side, I can’t say, but when it comes to the fitness dimension, Tai Chi is excellent. Of course, it’s also worth taking a look at the basic moves and principles. But just to remind, although Tai Chi is often popular because of slowness and smooth moves, it’s actually a very demanding discipline, and in fact a powerful, even dangerous, martial art.

After breakfast
  • Program: The Labyrinth
The Quiet Vessel level III ~instructions read "keep arms up throughout circuit & during rest":saywhat::shoked:i did not do that; i did do each level without rest breaks, keeping my arms up throughout, but i rested my arms between levels. Also, i realized i had messed by going from node 37 to node 32 as they are not connected on the map, so i did the extra butt kicks to allow for the backtracking. By the way, i am trying to do all of the rooms, not just get to the exit.
