Checking In! I woke up at 5AM today. I am a bit short of sleep (sleep score 76) but I don't feel too bad. Since I was up and the doggos were not
I meditated and I did my gratitude practice before hitting the shower
I did my double session, worked for a bit, then went out for a coffee with a friend. We went to the vegan bakery I love so much and we had a great time there. I had a New York roll - YUM! We usually walk there (20 minutes there, 20 minutes back) so I got a lot of steps in towards my daily goal. We stopped by a flower shop (she bought me flowers for the New Year) and by my favorite local grocer on the way back. So I came back home with lots of goodies: sweets from the bakery, flowers, "mystery" berries, flapjacks and some fresh pumpkin for tomorrow
I made quick tofu wraps for lunch since I am running around today (admin work for DAREBEE) and I'll make Korean-style dinner tonight to celebrate New Year's Eve. I am not doing anything special apart from that. I am planning on going to bed at 10PM
I used to celebrate more in the past but as I got older, I started focusing more on the first day of the year rather than the last
I have a big day tomorrow
