- Walked Liam
- Lunch with Mom was lovely!
- We had Tex-Mex since I can't yet convince Mom to try authentic Mexican and the males don't like Tex-Mex
- (Both had work today)
- So it was a tasty compromise!
- I walked Liam because Dad was super busy today
- The funniest thing?
- At the one house, there's a dog I've personally never seen before
- It made sure to let us know it was there, defending its house
- It was a mini dachshund
- No lie, I'm almost positive Liam's head is bigger than the entire dog
- Even the dog's owner was shaking his head!
- Silly little pup...
- Bills won!
- That was close, though!
- The Ravens are a great team!
- Liam was good and quiet all day
- I rewatched Hocus Pocus 2
- I... have questions...
- Apparently Disney has been floating an idea of Hocus Pocus 3 already!
- Whether that actually happens?
- (I would actually adore a series. Think of the kooky possibilities!)
- So, whom is Liam's favorite?
- Well, between me and Mom?

- My sink is finally draining well
- And I'm giving it through tomorrow on the tub
- But that's because I have to deep clean the bathroom
- And I didn't want to do that today
- Dad was in and out of the garage and Liam knew that

- Why is it that cereals have to contain so much additional sugar?
- I was looking at one and in one serving, it contains 20g of additional sugars!

- Tiredness made me chilled
- So I curled under a blanket for most of the day
- My feet are no longer cold!

- He ran to give me kisses

- (Whining pup? Don't have the volume too high, he gets loud.)

- I had to close the attic hatch
- I had to jump to get it fully closed

- At least I was able to jump!

- Dad and my brother both came home and ignored Liam
- So my alarm was a barking pup

- He just decided to bark at almost everything today
- At least it means he's sleeping deeply now!
- Also, I think I may drink too much tea
- Liam had the zoomies and was not letting me by him
- (He lunges, jumps back, drops his front half, leaps into 2 circles, and starts again
- It's both amusing and annoying)
- I managed to get a mug and he acted like I was holding a force field!

- Weird pup...
- (One of these days I'm going to have my phone in hand and record the madness)
- So, yeah, I think my regular tea consumption has equated a mug with caution and respect in his mind
- I am not complaining!
- I can safely say the exhaustion and chills are this month's side effects
- Not my favorite, but they'll only last another few days

- Happy: Dad walked Liam so I was able to have some peace and quiet!

- Dad has a really bad habit of letting Liam outside if he's barking in the morning
- My windows open to the backyard
- So he becomes my unfiltered alarm
- Thankfully, if it's early enough, I can fall back asleep

- Liam was also feeling playful while I was in the kitchen
- When your back is to my playful pup, the closest thing is nipped
- He got my butt

- It never fails to make me giggle, though!
- Good: playful did not become zoomies!
- Happy: leftovers! They make lunches so much easier

- I had a thought as I was eating lunch:
- Broccoli leftovers is nice, but if the family had let me know, I could have eaten it last night!

- (Why I don't just buy twice the amount in the first place...)
- Liam fell asleep outside yesterday
- Full 2 hours, completely asleep
- I woke him up
- That was actually a mistake
- He honestly thought I was an intruder
- So... no more sleeping outside for the pup!
- (He was only territorial, thankfully, but I don't need those eyes just before bed!)
- (The adrenaline shakes? This is the reason jump scares don't work on me!)
- So, of course, when the pup was being naughty and stealing things for attention, I wanted nothing to do with it
- Shakes in one day are plenty
- Otherwise, Liam has been wonderful! Almost no barking!
- The parking lot is being used for a fundraiser tomorrow, though
- So I get to look forward to that...
- Strangely, this month has me craving soda? Which I never drink?
- So weird...
- Good: all chores complete!
- Happy: my shower draining perfectly is honestly lovely? Made my shower quite pleasant!

- My achilles and hamstrings don't love me right now
- I'll catch up tomorrow!
- We just planned the yearly visit to see the foliage!

- MY SISTER IS ENGAGED!!!
- They met at and got to know each other at work, he asked her out in one of the aisles, they shared their first kiss in that aisle, and HE PROPOSED THERE TOO
- He got her manager (they work in different departments) to bring her to the aisle
- (She honestly thought she was in trouble)
- And her manager got all the pictures!
- There is a little person jumping up and down and screaming in my chest
- To offset the joy is Liam
- I expected barking at the setup
- Instead I have a pup who knows Dad is outside but can't see him
- So he's whining
- It makes the delight all the sweeter
- Good: managed what I did of my routine
- Happy: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

- My legs were much happier today!
- I was just finishing my exercises when the game started

- I really hope the Steelers' rookie QB manages better later in the season
- It was his first career start and we're in a great place right now

- Liam was as quiet as I suspected he'd be!
- So that was very nice!
- Good: it wasn't too late to shower! (can't sleep with wet hair)

- I have forgotten that just about every month since I started drinking it after seeing Bee

- Liam was so tired when Mom came home that she had to go to the back door and call his name
- He was obviously still out of it when I got back
- But I did get all the kisses when he finally noticed me!
- Good: managed grocery shopping in a busy store

- I am so glad I'm seeing Bee in two days
- My poor upper torso!
- I'm certainly feeling the combination of pushups and weights
- But she'll put me right back!
- B&G guys were clearing broken branches this morning
- Half an hour before my alarm
- Liam did not want to stop barking

- But I needed no nap!
- Absolutely adorably amusing?
- Liam came back from his walk, thought I was still out back, went running
- Saw me out of the corner of his eye, did a full sliding stop, turned, and all but lunged at me
- I got all the kisses!
- Then, when he was barking outside, Mom came home
- I literally just have to say, "it's momma" in a higher pitch and he runs
- So Dad was completely ignored in favor of Mom
- That combination of "it's so-and-so" and high pitch works every time!
- Good: mowed the lawn!
- Happy: that perfect reaction!

- Completed today and tomorrow
- Hoping the daily exercise is quick and easy tomorrow!
- The weather can stop spiking
- Cold mornings, warmer days, cool nights sound lovely
- Until you're sweating in the afternoon and needing to go outside to feel cool again

Little pups think they are the biggest dogs! This reminds me of the time we took my mom’s dog with us when we went to my aunt’s house in the country. On the way home, there was a cow blocking the street. He was growling his head off!
We also once had a friendly pit bull just walk in our house once and he thought he would be able to take it. Nothing bad happened, but it was scary because while the dog was very sweet, we weren’t sure how it would react to our dog’s growling.

- Glad it was only 50 lunges!

- Decided to push through so I don't have to try exercising without caffeine
- Even if I get enough sleep

- Getting up even just an hour before my usual time will make me incredibly groggy

- I hit my elbow ( hard) while exercising
- So that's fun
- Ibuprofen helped, thankfully!
- It is making a cracking sound when I straighten it, though...

- Not the worst since it's a pretty funny sound
- Just heard about Robbie Coltrane

- Happy: got home at the same time as Mom and Liam pushed her and Dad aside to greet me!

- Well, I didn't get enough sleep, did get a nap, and drank so much water
- I also filled the bag almost a minute faster than usual
- So...
- The technician was wonderful; she worked harder than anyone before her to pull my vein
- (Apparently I have "hidden veins"? News to me!)
- She did great!
- It literally spurted when she stuck the needle in
- That was fun!
- (I can't watch as the needle goes in, but after? Fascinating watching the blood move!)
- It's also the first time I've felt at all light headed
- It was very mild and went away immediately
- But I'm thinking it's because of how fast it pulled
- My elbow still hurts a bit, but that's all
- I'm waiting for the puncture to heal a bit before using the gun
- (Because of course I hit the elbow I prefer to have blood drawn from. At least it was the back of my arm!)
- Liam decided to bark a lot

- He wasn't happy I was in the shower and no one else was home
- Turns out, when I really yell, I lower my pitch
- I went down at least an octave earlier!
- (It stopped his barking. That's all that matters!)

- I also had a few moments of almost nausea from raised heart rate

We loved She-Hulk! And it was so awesome to see Daredevil/Matt Murdock again!!
She-Hulk is one of the best things the MCU has done, in my opinion, @Sif_Shepard. I loved it the first time around and am enjoying it even more the second!

I am loving all the shows, it's hard for me to pick a favorite for all the new stuff; I haven't disliked anything other than What If, and I did actually like some of the episodes. She-hulk was so good, I especially loved the ridiculous episode with the magician in the beginning of the series with Madisynn and Wongers My wife is a huge fan of Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black, we had a lot of fun with this one. The other recent ones like Moon Knight and Ms Marvel were really fun too. Daredevil is my all time favorite and for the movies I think everything with Cap in it after his first movie is S tier. (I could geek out about the MCU for so long lol, I have a lot of other favorites).

I've long preferred the shows to the movies, @Sif_Shepard. I could go on an hour long rant about the movies (Stark is the villain? Without the mutant background Civil War made no sense. Please, please don't get me started on the pure, nonsensical fan service End Game was. CAROL WAS RIGHT THERE). But the shows have had major high points.

- The neighbors who share the parking lot are having a deck installed
- It made Liam bark and whine for a while
- Then the chimney cleaners came
- Liam got a walk, I got to see some interesting tools, and we got some upsetting news
- Not a bad morning!
- Bad news: there was definitely a fire in the past, the terracotta is obsidian in color, also cracked, and the mortar is missing in places
- So no using it!
- (And an estimated $9000 to fix it)
- Good news: insurance! It'll be fully covered and fixed by an excellent crew
- We finally turned on the furnace the other day
- Even I admit waking to 17 is a bit too cold
- But I have the family satisfied with 20 at the highest!
- (It's 19 at night!)
- We're coming into cat cuddling season
- There is no down side
- Good: talked to strangers
- Happy: my Liam was in the kitchen for the last bit of the cleaning and was an excellent boy! He barked and whined, but wasn't aggressive at all!
- Casper cuddles for warmth, @CODawn, not so much affection. Cold weather has him hiding under blankets with me!
- This was apparently a cold snap, @GentleOx. It's going to be 21 through Tuesday.

- He wasn't great - pulling a lot - but wasn't actively difficult until the dogs
- Two women walking three dogs, specifically
- All of them wanted to play!
- And then the two police officers in their parking lot

- Finally got us home in one piece!
- Mom tried a new recipe
- It wasn't perfect, but that just means more garlic bread experiments!
- Much happiness with that!
- The pain in my back yesterday was just a small spot out of alignment
- It's back in now, but the surrounding muscles aren't best pleased

- Happy: had an apple cider fry cake* for the first time! Super yummy!

- A fry cake is a yeast donut, but not allowed to rise before frying

- Woke me after 4 hours with barking
- Dad calmed him down, thankfully

- (I blame Dad more than Liam. You do not leave jars on the counter. ESPECIALLY not peanut butter!)
- We walked to a local restaurant for lunch
- One of the last few days of high weather
- So .2m/.3km was a very pleasant walk!
- We then came home and watched movies
- (The things that happen on a bye week...)
- Good: walked to lunch
- Happy: my usual* veggie burger had 4 times the amount of hummus!!
- *It's incredibly hard to find good veggie burgers around here, so though I could have tried something new, I went with this option. My taste buds thanked me!

- The wedding dress my sister bought for her ex was bought for her ex
- She wanted a different dress, but he insisted
- (Yes, we're all very glad he's gone.)
- Well, the store has the dress she really wanted on clearance

- If it can be tailored, without being hideously expensive, it is her literal dream dress
- So fingers crossed!

- Happy: I can still taste the vindaloo (after brushing my teeth!)
