Turkey Run 2025

header.jpg

Word must’ve spread through the coop, because 20,000 feathered fugitives just pulled off the most chaotic escape in poultry history - The Great Turkey Train Derailment. Now they’re loose, running wild, and flapping havoc across city streets. As any good prison drama fan knows, the weakest point in any chain of custody is transportation… and these birds knew it too.

The world can’t handle a full-blown turkey takeover - the droppings alone could cause an urban crisis - and let’s not forget that Turkeys are serial rule-breakers and professional peace disrupters. So, we’re taking action. But we’re not monsters. Every Turkey caught will be safely transferred to TURSEC (Turkey Security Program - an official initiative ensuring the health, safety, and long-term protection of all captured Turkeys and their families). Because we’re Bees, not villains.

The problem? Turkeys are absurdly hard to catch. They’re fast, unpredictable, and can pivot like professional athletes on caffeine. If not for the feathers and the chaos, they’d make the perfect fitness trainers. To round up all 20,000, you’ll need speed, agility, endurance, and maybe a sprinkle of luck. Fortunately, we’ve equipped you with three ways to chase them down.

So take a deep breath, stretch those wings, and join the Turkey Run - the wildest 48-hour pursuit of the year. The flock is loose, the chase is on, and only the fastest Bees can restore order!

Option #1: The Game of Chance
Use a cardboard box to catch turkeys. Chase, lunge and scoop! Then check the box and see if you caught any of them.
step 1. Do 10 butt kicks (or slow butt kicks)
step 2. Check the box.
step 3. See if you caught any.

Option #2: Guaranteed Loot
It's simple. Chase and grab.
step 1. Do 20 high knees (20 in total, left+right leg)
step 2. You caught 1 turkey.

Option #3: Bulk Order
Bag them by the dozen!
step 1. Do 5 basic burpees (no push-up)
step 2. You caught 10 turkeys.

200 butt kicks = 20 spins of the turkey box => [x 1 x x 1] [x x 1 1 x] [1 2 x x 1] [1 1 x 2 1] =2+2+4+5=13 turkeys caught
600 high knees = 30 turkeys caught
15 basic burpees = 30 turkeys caught

~~13+30+30=73 turkeys total returned to TURSEC~~

Hi @neilarey, hi darebees!!

This is my reach during the Turkey run challenge:

Thursday 27th: From 20 butt kicks (x20 attemps) = 12 turkeys caught / 8 empty
Friday 28th: From 5 burpees (x20 attemps) = 100 burpees > 200 turkeys caught

Total = 212 Turkeys caught

Sorry for the limited time I have to train, just hours before the challenge ends.

That's all I can contribute.

December starts in less than two days.

Let's finish the year with a visit to the physiotherapist.

Take good care! Happy Thaksgiving Day!
See you!

1100 High Knees, 55 turkeys I think.

Just noticed this event, turns out hosting Thanksgiving is a full-time job, who knew? 😂 Hoping it still helps catch all the turkey (and maybe some pie too)!

500 High knees = 25 Turkeys
50 Burpees = 100 Turkeys
150 Butt kicks = 9 Turkeys

Total= 134

Oh. We don't have time!
We need more turkeys.
Let's go for 15000.

200 high knee.
40 burpees.
