I've been sitting here for TEN MINUTES close to crying thinking I broke my streak. I could not for the life of me remember what workout I did yesterday. I just blanked. I figured I'd have to start from one again -
AND OMG I JUST REMEMBERED, I DID DO A WORKOUT YESTERDAY! I FINISHED 60 DAYS OF HIIT!!!
I DID IT! DAY #60! I DID NOT BREAK MY STREAK! I DID A WORKOUT YESTERDAY!

Thank you so much for the congratulations! This is a major achievement because it's SIXTY days and also because I was so off during May that I didn't win ANY badges all month long. I'm back on the ball now, though!

First week of 90 days of action successfully passed. My family is still alive and doing okay given the circumstances - I'm getting regular updates and pictures from bomb shelters, all while my American friends talk about their country potentially imploding. Stay safe out there, folks.

Well, that's that. I finally broke my beautiful streak. I kept going and going and going and then suddenly all that tired got too much for me.
I wanted to start again on my birthday because I like Significant Dates, but I was still ill and exhausted. No matter. My Hebrew birthday is in only six days, I'll work on getting myself back into gear and start again on an equally significant date. I got pretty far in my last streak, I have to keep that self confidence that I can do it again, and maybe get even a little further this time.
Sure, I grew up around them, but I was always just helping, not leading.
But sometimes you have no choice but to step up and be just a little more of who you already are.
I tried not to hurt the dragon too much. Just knocked it out a little. And then looked closer to make sure it was really out ---

Zero Hero, day #20
15 minute daily walk, day #5
Day #146
I realize I've been writing these snippets targeted to an audience who are already familiar with Zero Hero, but because presumably people who aren't wouldn't want to read them anyway, I'll just keep going with that style. (Improv stories will merit a little more detail.)
My (step)cousin and I exchanged squishies. We both love them and have small collections, so she gave me a squishy potato and I let her pick whichever she liked from my collection of extras. (She took a little cat.)
And I'm not on great terms with my stepmother at the moment, but I got my dad a batman calendar so I figured it would be politer to pick one up for her too. There was a Chagall option, and she has a lot of paintings by Jewish artists around the house, so it seemed appropriate Access here. She liked it. Coz that's me, other people burn bridges and I just go ahead and lay down stepping stones where the bridge used to be.
