And I think you are on to something @PetiteSheWolf! It's probably a mix of that, and feeling it in the floor or something.

Although the first attack happened when I was on my back doing cycle kicks which makes no noise. So yeah, the energy part makes sense and also he hates seeing the flailing limbs. :imp:

It's too small a house to get him distracted. One time I played bee on the string with him while jogging, but ultimately he goes outside. Today he came right back after I told him I was done with my nonsense. lol



Today was good day.

So behind and I really needed to try to work tonight, but it took me 45 minutes to catch up here, I'm 6 minutes away from my "get off devices so I can sleep in an hour" goal, and I still have to write this post which takes 10-30 minutes depending on the day. LOL.

But I like doing it and it helps me, so that's worth it.

So the usual constant everything, but I also got a sort of assurance that I might very well get exactly what I have been wanting for the past few years...itfeelslikeit'sthisclose.

My one coworker noticed me just beaming walking back from something and it was later. So people could see I was happy.

I must remember my teachings from Miyagi-Do and try harder to practice patience a little better. Maybe there is a chopsticks and catching flies reference I could probably make. lol

But at one point, when it was time for lunch, had 5 people coming at me in a row. Three of which were at the same time.

Cost me two hours on just that. Mainly kept my cool, allowed myself a mini-5 second trantrum promptly followed by my picking up the next call in my radio voice and smile bit.

Because of that, I didn't get to start something I really wanted to finish tomorrow and I'm behind on a handful of other things that needed to get done.

But I'm still beaming. I didn't flip, I RAN in that closet today to burn off that agitation entergy and all the while I have the Christmas spirit building so I'll keep up the positive vibes while I can. :LOL:

  • Bridge Taps EotD (x20) - Did it in one go.
  • One & Done Challenge - 12th Day (1set)
  • Did 10 pushups for the Cocoa.
  • Fit December Program - 14th Days (5sets) - Did 10 pushups after the 4th set to give myself an even 50 for the day.
  • Loading Abs WotD (3sets)
  • 6am Jog to 300 before I leave for work.
  • Bonus Workout (3sets) - Did 10 here where they wanted 4 so I could snag 30 more. Helps to note I don't do each bullet then the next one, I do the Fit Program 1st set/s, the WotD 1st set & then the Bonus Workout 1st set. I always do that, and then take a rest before the 2nd sets. That is why the 50 is listed above with Fit December where I did 5 sets total.



Lunch:
  • Laps around the college parking lot x2.5 - Ran in the supply closet for 40 minutes. It's 15 degrees colder today than yesterday, but was sunny and I wanted to go out. But went so late, didn't want to drive.

Friday was good day and this weekend was nice.

Was able to do all of my exercises with Miyagi napping not far away and completed it without any incidents. LOL.

Was able to concentrate in the morning. Was good, found an error in something I did last month so I was able to complete the last report my reboss needed for something overdue. He's going to be on vacation with his family in Mexico next week. Will miss him, but he needs the time off more than anyone where I am, so happy for him.

We picked our secret santa people. Yesterday I went and got his gift so I'm set there. Monday we are going to trade them all and bring in desserts. I'm going to make the fudge next week. A batch for my house and a batch for work

Good thing I checked my bakeware. Forgot I got rid of old and really scratched up 8x8 pans. So got the new ones and all of the ingredients are ready.

My chocolatier did not have any malted milk ball options that weren't pastel colored for Easter (aka old), so I went to a different one, a Pennsylvania brand, and ordered the malted milk balls (and hot cocoa bombs for myself) from Jacques Torres. If you ever watched the Nailed It series on Netflix, he is the judge on that.

Had his stuff before, it's amazing.

So excited for that on 12/23.

Next week my main boss is coming up and we are going to go out to dinner with some vendors that do a lot for us on Wednesday. That will be nice.

Going to count that as my after work outing for this month. Mainly because no real opportunities for another chance with Christmas looming. Companies will be having their parties anyway so I'll get back to that in January. :)

When Miyagi goes outside, I'm going to go bring my little Christmas Tree down. It has fiber optic color changing lights, a little train that circles it, and plays jewelry box sounding versions of some Christmas Carols.

And later, having one of those hot cocoa bombs made with milk of course. :hheart:

And @NightWolf714, I actually kept falling asleep reading everyone's posts. I woke up after a "passout" and it was past my cut off time so I had to just post and go.

Went to bed next to my cat and then slept like a baby. Definitely needed that!



Today was a good day.

Yesterday and today I caught up on more things I was over due on. Was very happy about that.

Other things are ramping up to the point I can't breathe. (not literally). But I was able to keep up today, hope I can continue that as I'm being pulled away from things before getting to the finish line. Hope I'm not missing steps when I jump back in.

Tomorrow my main boss is coming from Chicago. We're going to go out to dinner to a nice place I wanted to try for happy hour on my own, so extra excited about that. I'll get to check it out. Plus the people we are going with tomorrow are cool, so it will be a good time.

Only thing that sucks is that I'll have to do extra stuff in the morning, so I might have to Hall Pass tomorrow. Which I don't want to on a weekday I know I'm going to eat more than usual. We shall see.

Had a dermatologist appointment tonight. Crazy how much progress I have made in so many areas. Everything went well, it's just crazy how I get "remember this time another year" messages and I barely recognize myself from 2-7 years ago.

Today was a good day.

Was able to breathe today.

Got good work done, even a project I wasn't planning on fitting in, but hope my reboss likes when he comes back.

Lots of candy in the office today, everyone was sugar rushing.

My main boss was in and that was nice. I decorated my cubicle for him with the company banner he didn't know I had.

Dinner at the fancy place with our vendors was AMAZING. I was out for 4 hours!

Really good food & drinks and made it home safe. Great time.

Now it's bed time, but glad I got my post in.

Skipped morning internet today and after work internet besides this. Was a nice peace of mind break.

Miyagi missed me and was worried, but promptly went outside. Hope he comes in the next few minutes. Lol

Today was a good day.

I was definitely hung over this morning, but my morning workout did help with that a little.

Even if I couldn't give it my all. My arms had DOMS so I couldn't do what is up next for my bonus workout which is all exercises in elbow plank position.

Work was nice, everyone was in a really great mood. We do have a lot of people going to be off to use their vacation days up soon.

That part will suck, it's most of the good people that keep me and the other girls smiling, but my reboss will be back from vacation so we'll have that at least.

Tomorrow we get a lunch because someone is retiring. Monday ,the office is having various desserts, pizza and opening the secret santa presents. So much food arund!

Today, I knew I was having a low calorie dinner, so was looking forward to being a pound or two down tomorrow...except someone brought in really good empanadas so I had to have one.

Then because I was out late yesterday, I missed my Godiva advent calendar so I had to have two today...so I'm now on schedule now to break even. :happy:

Still not back in the 120s, but up way more than I want to be like when I was on vacation. Only now with no break on Saturday since that is the time with my husband and we are going out lol.

So I'm forcing myself to just enjoy the day. I'll get back to discipline in January.

With that, my reboss got a gift of treats so I texted him. He let me keep it...adding to what I already have with my two boxes of chocolate and the couple handfuls of mainstream brand candies I took and put in my For Saturdays Candy bowl. lol
