@Saffity, reading and crafting were completed! The laziness was mostly physical since it was also laundry day.

That definitely made me chuckle @FlowersandPetals! Thankfully, beads aren't that expensive* and Mom's crafting crosses lines with mine, so I can "borrow" supplies most of the time 😂

*Shipping when the exact bead I need isn't local? 😬

We had a lovely evening in and went to bed just after the ball dropped. Today has been a wonderful family day that saw reading by all and some more crafting by me. Nobu was upset I didn't let him play with my spool toggles, so made a bed of them. Cats!

I never remember to picture my new bag, so here's the best I have so far 😅

Fit December went well enough, so I've added another program in! This month's routine:

Daily Exercise w EC
30 Days of Cardio light
Standing Abs Challenge
Splits Exercises

If all goes well, I should be able to do a full program next month! It's been several months of slow progress, but I'm happy with it!

A local bakery gave me an early birthday coupon, so I'll be enjoying that in the days to come, weather permitting!

Hello, Bees!

Mid month check in! Things have been pretty good! Mostly consistent with exercising (a few days of being busy and one of mild illness had me doubling up) and my stretching is getting back to normal. The family is doing well. Cats are catting*. Tried a new coffee shop and I'm loving the coffee.

*Nobu has not been cuddling much. He spent a week meeting me on my bed (stealing one of my pillows), and is now back to cuddling on the couch at night. Cats!

Finally figured out a birthday menu (with Tyler's help after ten days of frustration 😅) and now don't know if I can do my preference. Local butcher thought he could order the beef shank, but wasn't able to get it in before next week 😭 so we're looking around tomorrow. If all else fails, we go to the back up option. Still great! But not ossobuco 🥲

Otherwise, I've been crafting a lot. My sister gave me a great idea I've been playing with. It's great because several designs did not work as bracelets, so this opens up things I've had to discard!

I leave you all with my favorite picture from the last few weeks. I only got it yesterday because Nobu.

I appreciate all of your wishes! I have good, great, and very sad news:

Good: day of was wonderful! Had lunch, then several hours to myself. I did lag on exercising; did the daily exercise every day, but I need to catch up on everything else tomorrow. Glad I took the break, though!

Great: Sunday was wonderful. All my siblings came by and I specifically asked for 1 thing, shared between them. So, of course, they got me several cookbooks and a little clay elephant as well :cantwait: I don't love the texture of beef shank. The flavors of ossobuco are great, but a different cut of meat is preferable. Everyone was happy, though!

Sad:
my sister and L lost a cat on Friday. Bean had a liver shunt and they weren't able to help him in time. Baby wasn't even a year old 😞

Needless to say, it's been a few days! And to top everything off, the remote for our electric fireplace died. It will be -11C tomorrow. A fire would be quite nice! 😭

Bean will be missed but never forgotten. My sister and L are both doing well, and we're visiting on Friday, so that's a relief for all of us.

Onto happier news! The fireplace remote just needed new batteries! Apparently the ones we tried yesterday were old. We've been enjoying the fire for a while now!

Mom called off because of the snow in the driveway. Even with the snowblower, it would have been very difficult to get out. So we had a quiet family day!

I caught up on my exercises! Need to stretch tomorrow, though. I did everything else around the laundry that seemed to take forever today.

I've been drafting new designs and think I'm ready to craft one tomorrow. Several need a lot of work, but the bare bones are there! Plus, I crafted numbers for the first time (why??) and they're adorable!

Photo dump! #1: sister caught this one on Sunday; #2: Nobu heard at least one of the others upstairs; #3: Mom caught the twins being twins; #4: I think he saw Nobu in there and had to try it. He stayed for 2 hours!! #5: my new crafting buddy! 🥹
