I saw V (after my own exam at the hospital) - and that was really good! She is out of intensive care, as I (hopefully) said before, and this time had had two days where she could eat better, and dialysis is taping down, her kidneys seem to work. Being able to sit longer, and walk around more freely seems to really help recover. Let's hope it keeps up, because it was really good seeing her up and with only the heparin drip!

Thank you @graoumia . yeah, not the simplest of prescriptions, specially if you add that I also have drugs for my heart. Good thing I am a pharmacist, LOL!
BTW, I discussed Tuesday evening with a dear friend, also pharmacist, who works at the central pharmacy for the parisian hospitals (pharmacie centrale de l'APHP), and she told me one of her colleagues, under a very similar breast cancer, has near-exactly the same treatment from one of the two top cancer centers in Paris (VilleJuif Gustave Roussy). That shows that my own hospital follows indeed the lastest research.

For work, they've put me in work leave for the first month of treatment, to deal calmy with secundary effects. I will finish some works, but some will be .... postponed, and one taken by a colleague. Maybe that'll really show our management how badly understaffed we were already.
:heartsit:Thinking of you!

Thanks @Jaga !
Yesterday afternoon's injection was fine, except that I should have it prescribed as auto-pen if I want to do it myself. We'll ask that to the doc when I see her again in a month. Then I should be able to do both injections myself, which will be simpler.

Yesterday did daily meditation and daily habit.

This morning EoD (butt kicks), Reset Challenge D5, and 15 mins yoga.

Yesterday we had video meets, first one went fine but the second one I wasn't able to speak up (just listen), I realised only why - some security access you have to activate before, in the correct order, agh.... Sigh. So felt guilty, annoyed, etc.... But that's over, and I think I will remember the correct procedure for next meets in this setting.

Let's start with exercise.

Every day did my meditation and daily habit.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and this moring did EoD (chest expansions today), Reset challenge D13 to D16, and yoga 15 mins, except this morning the WoD

Soooo... Thursday was indeed very busy. I saw the nurse who explained again a lot about the treatments and how to deal with the secundary effects, the pharmacist (and her extern, LOL!) to discuss interactions and all, the dietetician, and the psychologist.
And I started the oral anticancer drug Thursday evening.
Well, we added the tiny detail that we had a heat wave thursday to Saturday .... Yiiikes. So energy to down, and nausea all days ; and I am not sure if it's the treatment, or the heat. I split my meals, now, as recommended, which is really weird since I was so used to intermittent fasting, and it seems to help. Also gotta add proteins. But we will manage around it.

Hugs to all, take good care of yourselves, bees!

Thank you @wjs , @Louve Rose , @graoumia (it is an expected secundary effect, and it should get better with time, so let's get this rollin'!) , @Mamatigerj, @Anek and @lpf .

Little by little I am getting used to eating differently.

Had a planned cardiologist appointment - looks like the anticancer drug is not interfereing with my heart, so that's a relief ; and supposed to have a call from the hospital's nurse to check on how I handle the treatment.

@Laura Rainbow Dragon , I remember some summers in Buffalo being quite muggy indeed! Well, I largely use additional showers in times like that, and petted mademoiselle Luna with a wet towel several times - that made her purr, so I think it worked ;) Looking forward to going to Bretagne, I can tell you!

This morning did EoD, Reset challenge D23, and yoga.

Grins to @wjs , Cthulhu (sorry, I seem to get lost in spelling that, LOL), is how I nicknamed my breast cancer - to mock it. My sanity is doing all right, through recognizing it for what it is - let's consider it a chronic disease with a medium prognosis. But I am a warrior, non mais! ;)

Little news on that front.
I had a blood analysis done this morning in prevision of Thursday's day hospital visit. Looks like all my blood cells are lower than they should be ; it is a known secundary effect, we will see if they lower the dose or change substance or whatever, thursday. They know how to pilot this. And that explains too why I am feeling so drained.

Grins to @wjs , Cthulhu (sorry, I seem to get lost in spelling that, LOL)
Forgive me for being a nerd. It absolutely makes sense to use such imagery with respect to your current medical situation, I just didn't connect the dots. Here's hoping your medical team can sort out the side effects to ease your life.

As an aside, Cthulhu* probably won't notice your bokken strikes, so you should be fine.

*By which I mean the entity trapped deep below the ocean in dread R'yleh.

Well, by nicknaming my tumor Cthulhu, I am flying the nerd flag quite proudly too so no worry, LOL.
Now, waiting for the parents to arrive from Bretagne (to see the start of the renovations in their new appartment) any time now!

We had thunderstorms yesterday evening that were /very/ intense, with big wind gusts. I am glad my parents had already safery arrived at my place! And it was so very very hot... Can't wait for Bretagne, in about 1 week 1/2.

"day hospital" yesterday, that went well, secundary effects and my blood work are in what's expected. They did another blood draw to monitor the drug concentration itself. I was able to see my parents's new appartment, very clear, should be nice! And quite amused at all the modifications mom is doing, she really has a gift to see those things and adapt the space!
Take good care, all sweet bees!

It's already hot there, I did my pharmacy + grocery shopping early to avoid it. I am supposed to go to the office tomorrow, to meet the work doctor, something tells me I am gonna treat myself to a cab ride to avoid melting. And the office may actually be cooler than my appartment, LOL.
