A local park does free concerts on Monday nights in July. We went early to get a good parking spot and walk part of a trail that runs along a creek and through a garden area. I was able to do some grounding/earthing in the grass and even some seated yoga stretches on my blanket while listening to the band. The music was very good as well!

Woke up with an achy knee, so i chose to skip my morning walk (which would have been on concrete sidewalk, no time for trail hikes on weekdays when i have to watch the grandkids.) I really just wanted to do lots of stretching. Massaging with the spiky ball helped quite a bit, and i decided to do the 5-Minute Walk workout as well, even did it twice for ec.

  • Top to Bottom skipped 13-15 because of my knee; substituted a squat hold, and added a downward dog between 21 and 22. It has been quite a while since i did this workout, and i forgot how much i like it.
  • 2.31 mile hike nice and easy, and my knee was fine

For those of you who are so inclined, i would like to ask for your good thoughts, healing vibes, and prayers for our pastor's family and their 13 year old daughter who had emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix on Wednesday. Doctors say she is improving, but is not out of danger yet.:please:
