We had a bit of a scare Wednesday night; our son texted to say he was taking his wife to the ER. (This is not the couple that just had a baby, but the couple that are expecting at the end of July.) She had some kind of episode and went completely numb on her left side. ER doc was concerned she might have had a TIA (mini stroke) and ordered an MRI. Thankfully, the MRI was clean, and they said it was just an intense migraine that mimicked stroke symptoms. Our sweet daughter-in-law and baby are both fine! :revolving:
I was too keyed up to sleep much after that, though.

I'm glad your daughter-in-law and the baby are both fine now :hheart:
Baby also can put some pressure on the nerve system of the mother which can cause stroke-like numbness. It happened with me 3 days before I gave birth and doctors said that it can happen during pregnancy (I've never heard about it before so it was pretty scary) :confused:

:heart: The Easter Sunrise service i planned to attend with my son was cancelled due to weather; instead, i spent a lovely early morning listening to the wind, rain, and thunder, accompanied by some classical Easter music. The storm had moved through by the time my husband and i went to church. Then, 3 of our kids and 3 of our grands came over for lunch.

I got to see my oldest grandson's artwork, watch my second grandson's little drama group sing and dance (the slowest version ever) "Blackbird", and see my beautiful daughter perform on the aerial lyra.

  • May Challenge: Recomp (dif.4) i will be modifying this:
    • Push-Ups: Wall (possibly Incline)
    • Burpees: Full Body Extension rather than jump
    • Will begin with Day 3, because i want to do EMOM on Saturdays (will pick up days 1&2 at the end)

Afternoons
  • Program: Pathfinder+ (dif.3)
    • Doing this with @Matan and @Maegaranthelas again! (@graoumia, want to join in?) I've never done an RPG Program before.
    • This has 6 days using dumbbells, but i think i want to do more; i plan to add some more light dumbbell work to a couple of days each week, but will drop those if it's too much
    • There are also days with Optional Quests doing push-ups to fatigue; not sure about these
  • Pelvic Floor & Core Work &/or Stretching/Yoga
