Pasta, scones, and Gilmore Girls!
What a coincidence, I watched an episode of Gilmore Girls for the first time today! It was the episode which had cameos from Sparks and Sonic Youth (this is how I was convinced to watch it) where all these musicians show up to town. Also learned that Gilmore Girls and Gossip Girl are, in fact, two different shows (and neither of them are the Golden Girls).

    • 3 regular (but only got about halfway down) +4 knee +8 counter ~My plan is to do decreasing difficulty (regular>knee>counter) on the lower volume days, which are every fourth day (also plan to do this on the final day). On the higher volume days i will do the easier wall & counter push-ups. I have no idea if this is a good approach or not.:gotq:
Midday
  • Program: TEN day 2; ~After the first couple of minutes i swapped out the reverse lunges for side-to-side lunges and the butt kicks for toe tap hops. My knee issues seem to be related primarily to movements where i hinge my lower leg back from the knee (e.g., back leg on lunges/reverse lunges, butt kicks, descending a lot of steps, sitting back on my heels). Keeping my lower leg stable or lifting my knees, while hinging at the hips (e.g., squats, side lunges, march steps, toe tap hops, climbing, child's pose) seems to be mostly okay.

:heart:Went to see grandsons, 10yo and 8yo, perform in The Jungle Book Kids; they did a great job! Lunch date with my husband, then met up with daughter #2 and son #1, their spouses, and kids (this included the two performers and the youngest g'baby) to visit and let the kids blow off some steam.

Left my son's house about 615 to drive home, 45min with traffic. Stopped at grocery store, since it was on the way. Got home with just a few minutes of me time before 3yo grandson arrived. Only had to watch him this day, because 18mo was having a Daddy day. I was quite tired from the previous night, so it was nice to just have the older grandson.

  • Workout of the Day: Possum ~decided i just wanted to do Burrito Mode again; i didn't use the timer, just held each pose for 3-5 slow deep breaths; then i added Happy Baby and Reclined Butterfly on at the end. Think i'll do this one every night this week.

LOVE the use of 24 hour time here :) did you use to do shift work?

I started using it regularly seven years ago when I started my current job and I haven't looked back! Wish it was more normal to just say "see you at 15", I always have to convert it back to 3pm in my head before speaking.
