A bit of a lazy day. I am writing right now, as the matter of fact. Well, not really writing, but playing. Earlier today I created two ICRPG characters, and I'll be making a story with them. Already prepared the set up, so I'm going to play for a bit. I'll probably finish the story tomorrow, if the night doesn't catches me.

D&D tomorrow, and next week, it's time for me to do it... unless the DM has his next session prepared. By the way it ended last week, it seems we'll be crawling on the same dungeon for three sessions, so that's fun. Thankfully I am a Cleric, and I still have some supplies.

D&D day, and it was fun. I thought it was going to be one dungeon that lasts for three sessions, but it ended up being short. My character not only got some development, but she also started to cross-out a few goals. Our GM introduced a homebrew system that feels a bit weird, so we suggested him to use the Piety system instead to make it more convenient. Nevertheless, that makes our characters more powerful, and judging by the baddies he likes to throw at us, we need that kind of power.

It's a shame that my phone's charging pin broke, though. I can still charge it, but it has to be under very specific conditions, like having it on the floor. It started last night, and... well, I'm not really surprised. It's been like... five years since I got it, so I knew it was going to have issues eventually. It's not a big loss, really, just a minor annoyance that I have to get fixed as soon as possible.

I haven't written today. I thought I'd start earlier, but there was a powercut almost as soon as I arrived home. Three hours, most of them spent playing guitar... It's fine, it's fine, is not like it urges me to charge my phone since it almost died on the session because I haven't written my character on paper yet, and I need to write the spells too.

Anyway, spooky month is here. I want to play Curse of Strahd by myself with a party of six and have some fun. I'll come up with the party later. I think I'll make up a party of a College of Spirits Bard, a Mastermind Rogue, a Way of the Four Elements Monk, a Fiend Warlock, a Grave Cleric, and a Gloomstalker Ranger. The only thing I don't know is how to start.

I didn't post last night because I was busy writing, and I didn't do much, but there's been progress. Little progress, but progress. I am not running late, as I'm doing things good, and I'm trying to keep stuff short, but some stuff took over, and is using more words than I thought it would. I don't worry too much about it; I'll end up rewriting the whole thing at the end.

I also skipped the DD. I had to skip it. As soon as I saw it, immediately I thought that I could break a shoulder if I even try to do that. So, this is a first for me on skipping a DD due to injury.

I also had doubts about whether or not to do Burpees, so I roll a VtM die, and... I got a two. A success is six and up, so no Burpees yesterday. Thankfully, I didn't do them. I pushed myself a little bit too much, and when I went out to walk, I felt my legs a bit wobbly, especially my calves. So yeah, doing two workouts instead of one is better for my level now.

I don't feel good. A bit dizzy. The power just came back, and I think I was between asleep and awake. I'm skipping the night routine. I'm very tired. I thought I'd write tonight, but I can't. My body can't keep up tonight.

I'm just going to listen to music, and then go to sleep. This powercut not only was surprising, but it also took some of my energy. It started right when I had 5 Push-ups left. Then, it was just four hours in the darkness.

Yesterday was a day with a lot of distractions, and an inability to write... until the very end, where I decided to not post and instead came out with a first draft in two hours, all of which I spent playing ICRPG to get it out of my head.

Now, all I need to do is edit it, which probably means adding more dakka than removing stuff. It feels like a combination of an outline at the same time of what it wants to be a story. It's like not only I got the shopping list and bought the ingredients, but I already left the yeast to bloom. I'll start that process tonight.

I also skipped all kinds of workouts yesterday, with the exception of what is rutine. I did it because the heat was horrible, I slept horrendously, and I didn't have any energy within me to do a thing. Which was a good choice, because I woke up feeling better yesterday, plus we had some rain last night.

The problem is that the power just came back. We had a powercut that lasted for six hours, and I didn't do anything so far. In an hour I have to go to Qi Gong too. Nevertheless, I got some things done by hand. I have another outline ready, and I'm willing to play some ICRPG solo when the power goes out for as long as it did today. The only issue with it is the heat is so unbearable I start sweating on the paper.

SIX HOURS! THE POWER WENT OUT FOR SIX HOURS!

Not only I slept until late because I was busy writing (I still am right now), but I woke up at the same time as a long powercut started. The power didn't come back until around 4 PM, and by that time I was posting, doing everything I needed to do quick, and started to get ready for Qi Gong... only for a hailstorm to cancel everything at the last minute. Just to keep things clear, we do Qi Gong outdoors, under the trees in a park that has no roof anywhere. And, like I said, everyone cancelled at the last minute.

So not only it was a hot day, but also a hailstorm cancelled everything. I'm also running late.

But, today was different, Even though the powercut lasted for six hours, I got things done. I wrote an outline, created a couple of character sheets, and did a few chores during the powercut. I didn't realized it's been five hours without power until I checked the time one hour before the power came back. There was a point too where melatonin took over, and I just wanted to nap, which also removed another hour.

Still, it was six hours; SIX HOURS! Six hours sweating bullets because it was noon, and the sun was so aggressive to the point that it rained later. Hail, no less!

@Nanna Io I am impressed too, mostly because I have less than 24 hours on a day due to the powercuts.



Another powercut, but this was short. In fact, I didn't notice when the power came back because I was in a place where there was power. We were so paranoid that it was going to last for six hours... It happened in the middle of the day.

So, I got busy, naturally. Sadly this meant I had to skip my workout, so I moved it for today. I decided to spent the day editing, and finishing the story, which I just sent it now.

Now, all that remains, is to prepare my Pathfinder session and write new stuff.

We had a break from the powercuts today, so that's new. I also managed to do everything, despite that I slacked off a bit. Nevertheless, I had to level up my Pathfinder character, and ended up spending more time with it than prepping. Thankfully, ICRPG doesn't take a lot of prep, so I did a one-shot instead, because I couldn't prep. Things are going to be fun tomorrow.

For now, I just want to chill. I feel like I did a lot of work, mentally.

ICRPG day, and it was a fun one. My one-shot took a bit longer than I thought, but I think that was more social interaction than anything.

It was really fun; a better D&D than D&D, for sure. We did it on the Mass Effect universe, which was also great, and the decisions had huge consequences. I'll be behind the screen again next Sunday, but this time it'll be Pathfinder 2e. I didn't prepare Pathfinder 2e because I didn't have time, so I managed to prepare the Mass Effect one-shot in one night.

I'll try to work on my next session daily this week.

I thought I'd had a more productive day, but the time got squeezed out a lot. At least I managed to do a couple of outlines, but that was it.

Right now, I'm going to bed early. I have to wake up very early tomorrow because I have an appointment, so I'm skipping the night routine. I wouldn't have skipped it, but then again, my time was squeezed. I barely got something done.

I'll have some waiting time, so I'll probably get something done tomorrow while I wait. I have a notebook, after all.

5 hours without power, I'm tired, and I haven't written anything!

It was also a waste of time because the doctor didn't show up! So I woke up early for nothing...

I don't even want to say anything... I did my upper body workout, which was something easy because of all that walking, and that I'm tired because I had ot wake up early... It does mess with my chronotype.

Ok, I don't know what it was, but I couldn't write anything... until I broke open my notebook and started to go ham. Even though I stopped at some point, I got some progress. I was planning to finish it later, but then, another powercut. This one lasted for 4 hours, but it was still annoying.

Nevertheless, I got the job done. I foresaw this happening, so I charged my desk lamp, and used it to write in my notebook instead. All that remains is transcribe it to edit it, but I did it. I probably managed to get over 1500 words, but I don't really know unless I dump it out in a Markdown file. It's more than six pages, so I know for sure that there's at least 1000 words there.

I didn't work out too much either today. Skipped the Burpees; it was a hot day, and I felt extremely lazy.

"Oh, f*ck off, are you f*cking kidding me?! Why do you have to make an opinion about whomever is in Gaza taking out the power when you did the same to us three times today?! And you've been doing it for years already?!"

That sums up the day.

For context, last night there was a powercut that lasted from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Then, there was another powercut, early this morning, from 1:15 AM to 4:30 AM. And then there was yet another powercut, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If you add that up, it is 13 hours. 13 hours without power! If we add the 5 hours without power from Tuesday... We're looking at 18 hours! And it's Thursday!

Why am I angry? I don't know, maybe because I am, once again, running late?! I hate this country. I can't fathom it. They had an excuse for having a bad service because they stopped charging people. Now, they are charging for electricity again, and somehow, the service got worse. Where's the improvement? Where is that money going? Why is it worst when we are paying?!

My girlfriend asked me how is it that no one has taken out the government. The ream answer is that they've learned from the Castros directly. Not to mention, many people here are old, and the younger folks are afraid of going to prison for 30 years, being tortured and whatnot. Is not really fun, even though it is very therapeutic to vent and yell on the streets that we should just protest and take down the dictator. But no one is going to do a thing. No one is going to make puputovs again.

So yeah, it was a holiday, and it was a bad day. I was supposed to edit my work, but I don't want to do anything now. I might just do it out of spite, but I'm getting distracted by things, mostly because I'm so stressed right now. Ironic, considering that I went to Qi Gong today. But no amount of yoga, qi gong, tai chi, meditation, or anything will remove the stress that was today. If I come out with something like PTSD after all these years because of this, I won't be surprised.

I hate this place. Why did people vote Chávez in 1999? Why?!

Another day of wasting time. If I don't make it for tomorrow, then I'm skipping this week. Yesterday left me way too stressed, and it carried out until today, so I'm not being hard on myself about it.

There was another powercut too, and I managed to write something during it. I didn't finish it, though. My lamp's battery was running out, plus I was in a very uncomfortable position. I need a table outside, because inside it feels like I'm inside an oven. They always have to cut power when the weather is at its worst.

I only started writing because I needed to cope with these powercuts, and I couldn't figure a better way. I am supposed to prepare for my next session, which I'll do tomorrow, even though there's so many things to do now, with the eclipse and me moving things for tomorrow... It's just been rough. The last couple of days have been very rough.

I don't know what is it with the router and its obsession of turning worse by each day that passes. I know the powercuts are doing a thing to it, and what happened on Thursday is something that is not forgotten. I heard that they just took down the electrical company's CEO and put someone else in place... someone from the military... Do I need to say more about the thing that this government does about appointing people to jobs that they don't know jack about? It's an old tale that started back in the early 00s, and yet it never ends...

My head hurts. There was a powercut, and I spent it doubting between writing one thing or another, and ended up making three Pathfinder characters instead of playing D&D as I thought I'd be doing, and the power came back, and I didn't do a thing. I just prepared for my next session, and that's it. I'm just going to wing it by this point. I also planned the following sessions until the end of the campaign, so that I won't be worried about not having anything by the last minute. I'm not preparing a lot, which is good, because I don't want to railroad or overprepare anymore. It's taking me way too much time by now. If I have to overprepare, it would be heavy lore pieces, and that's it.

I don't know what to do tonight, though. The week has been... okayish, but the last days were very rough. There was also a solar eclipse that we saw at that point of the day where the sun it's at its brightest, so imagine trying to look at it with all the precautions... yeah. I could barely see the moon covering it for less than a second. As I said, I took all the precautions. The shadows on the street were surreal, though. The only solar eclipses I've seen always happen by dusk, so this was an interesting change.

Almost no D&D day due to a last minute cancel that didn't happen. It turned out that two out of four couldn't make it by near the end because one was overwhelmed with work, and the other one wasn't feeling good. Nevertheless, the other GM had a one-shot in mind, so we played, and it helped me develop my alternate character in case my current one dies. It was helpful because it got me thinking about her backstory, plus it built a better relationship with my current character, and it was also fun. Almost at the end, the person overwhelmed with work finished, so he joined by the final bits, and then we had some conversation.

I came home, and the dice didn't stop rolling. I am running on an old idea that I had, and I'm going in deep with it. It was an idea for Pathfinder 2e, so I'm playing Pathfinder 2e as I write my log. I'm doing everything handwritten on a bunch of recycled sheets of paper. I already cut myself while I bundled them up and held them together with binder clips. Right now I finished putting the characters in a Markdown document to have on screen so that I don't need to flip more paper. This was more of a convenience than a digital backup, because I have them on paper still and will use them if I'm still going about this and I either lose my power, or I'm working away of my office.

It was a much needed relaxing day, and now, I have two weeks to prepare for a Halloween one-shot that'll emulate the experience of a slasher film. Think about bringing Dead by Deadlight or Friday the 13th videogames into the table, but with medieval fantasy, and on a raid (each person will be controlling four level zero characters from Pathfinder 2e). I'll prepare that on my weekends, since I have some time off thanks to preparing the rest of my campaign yesterday.

I spent the entire day writing, and that story is not done. I only stopped because I was tired. My hand was tired, I had enough of recharging my mechanical pencil because all I have with me are cheap leads that always keep breaking, and I changed my place of writing three times: twice at the community center, and once at a local bakery. It was way easier to write at the community center than home.

"Write" I say, when I was actually playing Pathfinder 2e solo. Not so much playing considering that the dice rolls were way too low, and there isn't combat in it. It ended up with a lot of intrigue, so I have to edit that and, of course, add more dakka. I'm using the euphemism of adding more dakka to my stories as a way to say that it needs more action/horror/romance/whatever it is supposed to be focused on.

But, hey, I am having a ball. Pathfinder 2e is way more flexible to play solo than D&D despite the fact that it requires four characters minimum, unless you want to make them more complex with dual classes and free archetypes in order to compensate the loss. It can be a con, but it can also be a pro. Remember, my original Bard, my first D&D character, works so much better as a Dual Class Bard/Fighter with Bastion as a free archetype rather than a Valor Bard on 5e. That's mostly because of her concept: she is supposed to be a former shieldmaiden turned scholar of forgotten lore.

I am far beyond 1500 words by now. I thought about editing, but I just spent some time cleansing my brain from today. There was a short powercut, but it was annoying. At least I wasn't mad about it. "Oh no, they cut the power! What a shame that paper doesn't require power" were the words in my head before I continued writing, until I couldn't stand the heat and wrote outside, on the floor.

I'll finish it tomorrow, and proceed with editing right away. Already caught a few things to change, so I don't care about waiting, and I don't want to wait. In fact, I can't afford to wait.

It seems that I'm having issues writing by hand. I just had it happen to me today, and it was a bit hard to mitigate. I might need to switch back to the computer, but I have a story already started, and I'll carry on with it tomorrow. I must go to sleep, and I'm late.

As for what I was working on... it dragged for so long that I just canned it. Is not good for what I need to do. That means yesterday was completely wasted.

What's better? To suspect it or to confirm it?

At the end of the day, I was right. Even though it was a very long, uneventful, and pretty screwed up day of a lot of wasting time on a waiting room, I managed to get it. I got it confirmed, and now I am going to be on a path to forget and relearn what many years of toxic productivity have taught me. I have ADHD, and honestly, I'm not shocked, but rather relieved. At the end of the day, I was never a failure. I was just different than the rest because my brain works differently.

My profile message couldn't be better for this. Ars longa, vita brevis. All this time I followed the methods and techniques that didn't work for me, yet somehow, I got it right once or twice, and that was it. It feels like most of my successes aren't either my own or a struck of luck, though there are some that I know were mine.

I am sleepy. I didn't work out. There was a lot of heat, and I'm just tired. I don't know how I managed to write sleep deprived, but I did. I don't know how much, but... whatever. I don't think I'll make it for the contest, but I got a few stories for a queue again. I'll try to finish it, because the deadline is soon.

It was a longer powercut tonight, which means no water today. I don't know if that's good or bad, but at least I had some work done. The story I thought I wasn't going to finish on time? Yeah, I just finished it during the powercut, right before my lamp died. I'll be on the process of transcribing it as soon as I finish posting, and tomorrow I'll start editing alongside this week's piece. This week's story is not that urgent compared to the one I just finished, so I'm prioritizing. I just didn't expect to finish it, especially when I have a plot bunny in my head revolving a Pathfinder 2e Gunslinger, and a Venezuelan neo-western. I think I said it before, but there novels written by Rómulo Gallegos, if they took place upon the wild west instead of Venezuela during the late XIX / early XX century, they would be westerns, but with some elements of low fantasy. I'm still on the lookout for La Trepadora, but I can read Cantaclaro again, plus I have Doña Bárbara, which is his best work. I'll probably work on it as an excuse to play Pathfinder 2e solo. Dusk Veil has urban fantasy rules, though I don't think I need it for something more than the Pilot and Computer skills. I'm going with low fantasy for this.

My head hurts a little, but I think it's just me being tired. I have so many things to do tomorrow now...

I forgot to mention that I started to read La Sicaria de Polanco again. I forgot how much I loved Karina Shultz and how unfair it is that there's only one book that brings a glimpse to her life when there's a lot more to explore. Some people say the book is bad because she doesn't get any development, but characters don't need any development. In fact, judging by the tone of it (she is the narrator, after all), it's like she's venting her entire story, so development for her is not really a priority. It's a good book, though. It's one of the books that got me into the noir genre.

There was a powercut tonight that I thought it was going to happen earlier. Much of my day was wasted, but at least I managed to edit quite a bit. I'm going to finish my work tonight. I won't go to bed until that story is sent, so tomorrow I'll work with the other one on the queue and have it ready, and send it tomorrow too. I could've done this sooner, but I was paranoid about the powercut. I always make that mistake.

I really need a cold day again too, and a way out of the house. It was very stressful here too, with lots of 2 vs. 1 fighting. I still need to buy a new notebook, yet some people owe me money and they haven't paid me... I need it soon, because what I'm writing there not only is it long, but I also have less than a month to get it done, and I can't do it in a day.

NaNoWriMo is also coming up soon, and I haven't done my research on the subject for my upcoming novel. Well, if I tick off these two things off, I can do NaNo without issue.

I'm tired. I didn't have good sleep last night, and I walked a lot today, under a strong heat at noon... I skipped all workouts and just decided to rest. A lot of napping, or attempts to nap. The good news is that I got my job done, so now I'm just waiting. The bad news is that Pathfinder is cancelled for tomorrow, but I can make up for it by preparing my Halloween one-shot, plus doing some work I have left.

First things first is to get some good sleep tonight. I deserve it.

Not only I spent the day setting up for NaNoWriMo, but also learning some new methods for my ADHD, and even finalized some stuff I had pending for my Vampire: The Masquerade chronicles as well as preparing my Halloween Pathfinder one-shot. Already told my players they must make five level 0 characters; one of them must take the Class Apprentice option so that they'll have more chances of survival. Already did the location, put the creatures I want to use, and all that remains is the entire story that needs to be unraveled as they explore the place. 50% of the job is done. The plot will do itself with the puzzles, and I'll try to make it short because the sun is setting early by this time of the year.

Good day. I'm only posting at this hour because I just finished with the water. It came so late, and I almost did everything on my own. Now, I just want to relax a little before sleep, mostly because I need my hair to dry off since I washed it.

I, honestly, don't know how this happened. It just did.

With NaNoWriMo coming up, I'm already planning out my stories to publish for the next month. I'm also finishing the edit of this week's story while I work on my drafts. I'm also going back to the Fighter TP. I do miss Combat Workouts, and my plan is to go with Diff. LVL I instead of III because NaNoWriMo will eat my entire time. I'll probably force myself to do them first thing in the morning, but I don't think I'll be able to do it. As long as I liberate my weekly posting, I can focus exclusively on NaNo. I need to make between four to five stories, and I'm making them as short as I can, so that I can edit them quickly, and have them on queue.

You know, I think having ADHD feels more like a superpower than a disability. Sure, it takes me a very long time to get started and to stay focused, but once I do, and once I manage to keep my focus, nothing can stop me. I still want to do AoP again, but do it like it's a module. I'll probably use Avatar Upgrade as a character sheet for inspiration. I can come up with a system... but that'll be for when I have the time.

Aside from NaNo, I'll also be doing homework for my therapy. I'm going to purchase a couple of notebooks tomorrow, because I need the spiral bound for this one.

Well, I wasted my day. I bought myself a PS4 controller to improve my RetroArch gaming. I've struggled the entire day getting that thing to work, and I just gave up on it. I don't know what is it. It turns on, it charges, it does appear when I put lsusb on the Terminal, and it does show up on bluetoothctl. Even in RetroArch and PCSXR shows up. The problem is that it doesn't work. I tried so many times on so many different ways, and it doesn't work. It is supposed to work out of the box, yet I had to compile ds4drv because I can't run Steam. I've done every trick in the book and... I'm returning that thing tomorrow to get my money back.

I guess I'm going back to saving, or get something else for my birthday instead. I just don't know what. I don't want anything for productivity. I could get another set of dice, but the only game shop in the State is out of stock. Yes, the only game shop in the State. I don't remember seeing mats the last time I was there, but if I see a flip mat, I might get it, along with more dice.

On the other hand, there's a piece of news that made me scream almost at the top of my lungs: Mike Portnoy returns to Dream Theater! My best friend and I were just nerding out about how unexpected it was, and how awesome would it be if Kevin Moore finally comes back to Dream Theater just to have Images and Words again. Mike Mangini was great, but he was just replacing Portnoy's drums, and not his actual role as a frontman of the band. Honestly, I thought Portnoy returning was never going to happen considering how the lawyers or executives (I don't remember) made sure that he didn't return back when he quitted. There was no bad blood from him with the rest of the band, but those suits... Who cares about them now? He's back, and I'm so happy to have the Dream Theater alignment I've grown up with during my teenage years back!

I returned the controller for store credit and decided to use that money to get some pieces of hardware that I needed. It turns out that my phone charger was the thing that broke, and not my phone, so I got a brand new one. I also got some headphones that took me a while to pair with my computer because, apparently, Pulseaudio's Bluetooth Module does not come with Pulseaudio for some reason. It was just a matter of writing a line on Terminal and I was good to go.

I thought it was going to be a good day, but I didn't write at all. Even worst, we actually stayed up until late waiting for the water, but it never came. And we used it all doing laundry.

Which brings me to today, which has been a far worse day. I don't know how, but the desktop computer went to sleep due to an accident of hitting the button. Easy fix, right? Nope. Now, it won't turn on. I checked every cable, I checked the PSU, I checked everything, and it doesn't turn on, and for the life of me, I don't get it. Then, as I was doing my research for it, we had a 4 hours powercut. So, yeah, I naturally wanted to use this time to go to the pumps and get water, right? Nope. A pipe bursted, so the engineer told me to come back tomorrow morning.

Don't even talk to me, don't even hug me, don't even look at me. I am so angry right now that I will side kick anyone who gets close to me. The first thing was just an accident, but no water, and no power, and their negligence of not putting the water as it is supposed to be anymore but only on two days, very late at night, at just few hours?

Do I need to say that I hate this government in this thread again?

I have, never, in my entire life, wanted so badly to be a spoiled brat having first world problems. Ever!

I had to add Qi Gong on my rest time to stay calm. It's been a tough day, and I'm tired. I can't even write.

I was raging. I mean raging, like severe uncontrollable anger. It was obvious that I needed to do a combat workout, and I picked one that's been a long time since the last time I did it, and it's one of my favorites.



I forgot how hard it is, so I did it at LVL I

Also, I just sent what I had ready, and now I am struggling as for what to do next. I don't want to think about work. I just want to finish preparing for Pathfinder, and hopefully, we won't get cancelled at last notice. If we do, I guess I have another plan for the day.

My head hurts a little, but that's mostly because I'm tired. This day sucked badly, and I hope tomorrow will be better.

I had plans for today that I had to cancel. Then, we had no Internet for the entire day, and we're struggling with water. It seems that the issue was fixed, but I don't really count on it. I don't trust any announcement, official or not, until I see it come true.

At least the group didn't cancel tomorrow. I managed to get the Halloween one-shot working, but now... I don't know. I can change systems with ease, sure, but I am doubting whether remain with Pathfinder 2e or use Vampire: The Masquerade V20. Either way, it works. I made it to be quick. I just pray they don't get stuck with social interaction between themselves. There's a reason I made them to handle a group of level zeroes instead of one full character per person. Either way, I'm bringing extra paper. I'm not using my phone for reading my notes for once, and with sessions like this, the paper is more convenient.

The Internet came back for only ten minutes before it went away. I was outside of home, and at least we finally had water.

But this nightmare is not over. I'm still using my phone, and I was so angry about only having ten minutes that I, frankly, just went to bed.

And I spent most of the bed today anyway. I'm not really in a good mood, and I'm trying everything. I'm about to work out right now. Calling the company is always futile, and I can't stop being paranoid about this for being an attack on freedom of speech because we had our primary elections for the opposition party the weekend before the last. The neighbor has been offline a day before us too, and the other neighbor even before that.

I don't know about anyone else, though. I'm just hating it here. This wasn't supposed how I wanted to spend my upcoming birthday: dealing with issues that are beyond my control.

It's been a hard week, and so far, I'm still offline. My neighbor got her Internet back, but the other neighbor and we are still offline. I already put up a ticket, and it was closed before they even called me about it. The landline also died, and we've seen workers around, but we can't be sure about whether they are fixing things around the neighborhood, or fixing and breaking things too, because that is a given for them. I can't call customer support because they got rid of it; probably because they got tired of so many people screaming at them for their poor service. Is not like it is effective to call them, though. They are in a world where they mandatory force people to open Internet Explorer when Microsoft got rid of it years ago. The last time I called them, they got me using the ipconfig release/renew trick, which never worked. They swore to send technicians, but never did, and it was only this house. I already opened up a new ticket.

See, this is my complain about this system: they force you to go online to put up a ticket on the website. How can you do that when you don't have Internet? Then again, this is Venezuela. The last thing you can expect from people in power is common sense.

I'm using my phone again, and I'm trying to do it religiously. My data plan is not big, but thankfully, since a neighbor is back online, I managed to save a few. This hardship is not over yet.

At least I'm writing. Will you believe me if I tell you that not having Internet is far more distracting than having Internet? I'm trying to produce a story to publish this month, yet I haven't finished the first part of it. My energy is going for NaNoWriMo, which I finished 10% of it last night. I hate it. With no Internet, I can't do research properly, so the work that I'm doing has an even lower quality than the last time I did NaNo, and, at this point, I'm probably going to write in a non-linear way and fix things up by the end. It sucks, yet NaNo is supposed to suck. Quantity over quality. Nevertheless, I can't feel comfortable with it. Sure, my attention deficit gets me, but I diviced my NaNo writing sessions in two per day, which has helped me to produce large quantities of words. Is not the same as that time I did 3.5K in Day 1, but at least I'm keeping it at a constant of an 1.75K/day average. Maybe I'll produce more, maybe I'll produce less; I don't know.

Thank you for the Birthday wishes, everyone. Is not what I expected to have for my 30th birthday, but what else can I do? I'm rolling Nat 1s (especially on Will saves against my attention deficit), and my GM is being nasty on me for no good reason. I'm failing, but I feel like I'm failing with style since I am still writing. Is just that I have no motivation to write other than complete NaNo and have a book to publish for money by the next year. I can tell you this, though: my reason for reaching 10% on Day 3 is that I'm using the techniques from the chivalry romances. Reading Amadis of Gaul taught me a lot, so I'm writing good and fast.

I'm just hoping the bad rolls end soon. I'm too stressed staring at the modem, waiting for the third light to turn on and signal that the connection's been restored. Tomorrow is Pathfinder day, just like last week was also a Pathfinder day for Halloween, which was really fun.

That's what I've been doing. I even lost some of my will to workout, but I'm not staying motionless. I'm just... tired of this. I switched back to Fighter, though.
