This is so relatable xD
I felt this exact way after a gynaecologist said I have a textbook standard uterus.
The rest of me is still falling apart, but that bit was fine.
Good, there's at least one thing about me that's normal. Maybe not a bit I particularly want, but we'll count it as a win :chuckle:

I think it's very normal to be very very tired after an ordeal like this!
Hopefully you'll feel better soon and can eat all of the tasty things :heartsit:

@Maegaranthelas textbook standard uterus-- WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. WHAT IS A NON-STANDARD UTERUS? Oh my God I have so many questions and I want the answers to none of them.

1,273 - LOTS OF WALKING BECAUSE I WENT TO A CRAFT FAIR. Not as a vendor tho, but apparently there were so many crochet things there that my money would have been uh. Slim.

663 - Few minutes down!

ZORO WORKOUT - Actually did day 17 of the 10k punches thing. Typo a couple days ago. oop.

Good thing - I GOT A SUPER NICE BLANKET FOR MY BEST FRIEND. But do not tell them, okay? I'm sure you can keep a secret.

1,274 - MOAR WALKING. Also I've caught like 3 shinies in the past few days so I'll squat for that tomorrow. Also if you're my secret santa and you're reading this, my shoulders will kill me if I do a pushup.

664 - Few minutes here and there!

ZORO WORKOUT - Day 18 of 10k punches!

Good thing - GOT SOME CHRIMBUS SHOPPING DONE

Cooper status - Fluff boy had a good day with us, because it is always a good day when you're a fluffy man (he does not always perceive it like this, as he is extremely busy keeping us safe from various threats, be them neighbors, or leaves that blow in a way he dislikes)

Let me describe said fries. You know how fries at like, McDonalds or BK are kinda thin? No, frick that. These are thick. There was a sort of sauce on them, and I think it had so much garlic loaded into it that it would make a medieval peasant explode. Do I need to lose weight? Yes. But my God. MY GOD. COME OVER HERE TO MAINE Y'ALL GARLIC FRIES FOR EVERYONE.

Also my coworker was kind enough to note to not put cilantro on it because SOMEONE (me) has the soap gene.

I'm so jealous of people who can taste cilantro. The idea that there is literally something in this world that tastes different to me due to GENETICS screws with me. What else am I tasting wrong? Or am I actually right, and cilantro just tastes like soap and some people have a genetic thing that makes it delicious?

WHO HAS THE ANSWERS?

ANYWAY THE FRIES WERE THICK WITH DELICIOUS GARLIC SAUCE. WE NEEDED TO SPLIT THE FRIGGIN' BOX BECAUSE OTHERWISE ONE OF US WOULD BE LIKE, SUPER NOT DOING WELL. And the other would be lacking fries. And these fries weren't like, ones you'd just eat with your hands because hey they're dry you can do that-- NO. I NEEDED A FORK LEST MY HANDS SMELLED LIKE GARLIC. Which, would then make my keyboard smell like garlic. "Oh Fish just wash your hands-" my friend. My dear friend. Have you worked with garlic? Have you put it in like, food? It's the glitter of food. It sticks to you. And your keyboard.

Anyway I worked out or whatever

1,277 - OKAY I DID THE SHINY SQUATS, 90 OF 'EM LESSGO. And 150 calf raises idk why not

667 - Few minutes here and there!

ZORO WORKOUT - 10k punches day 21!

Good thing - My mom's Christmas cactus is actually beginning to show buds around the appropriate time! For those who aren't plant-oriented, there's a reason why it's called a Christmas cactus, and ours has been sometimes a Valentine's Day cactus.

Cooper status - Fluff boy will be happy to see us all home tomorrow even though Thanksgiving is an f-tier American holiday-- LOOK IF YOU'VE EVER HAD THANKSGIVING AFTER AN ELECTION YEAR YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY I SAY THIS but at least fluff boy will be happy so that's good

Sounds like a plan! (Would it be wrong to have a DAREBEE meetup where we all just sit around and eat delicious food?)

If you eat enough garlic, you have to share it with your friends, or you will no longer have friends. Eat enough of that stuff and you will sweat garlic.
(This is probably why my main social activity has become hosting dinner parties.)

:hug:for you and for Cooper.

P.S.: Santa would like to know if there are any exercises that are contraindicated for you besides push-ups.

@Laura Rainbow Dragon @Fremen It's settled! We're all going to Laura's to get garlic fries. This is the best day of my life.

Uuuhhh. As long as you don't give me like a bunch of burpees I'll be good. Lifting a lot of things for prolonged periods is a no, I had to skip class once in college because I was carrying stuff at Walmart that should be okay for normal people and uh... Ow. Also my knees hate lunges. I'll do them for fit December but I'll complain about it the ENTIRE TIME.

Also if my Secret Santa is wondering what the hell a ZORO WORKOUT is, I'm trying to get swole to cosplay Zoro from One Piece. So it's upper body stuff I try and do frequently despite my shoulders.

1,278 - So I officially closed the tab for the 30 Days of Cardio Light thing. I just... Iunno, I know I haven't done it in a while but I think since my friend passed in the middle of it, I just. Can't lmao. I'll return to it someday. Just not now. Did the five minute walk workout + 200 ish calf raises.

668 - Few minutes here and there!

ZORO WORKOUT - 10k punches day 22!

Good thing - Thanksgiving was peaceful, I guess. Not a lot of people here. Now, I sleep early.

Cooper status - FLUFF BOY GOT HELPER PIECES BECAUSE HE IS BEST FLUFF BOY YAY

1,282 - Okay, so. Hall pass on fit December, my body does not like lunges. ... At least, I can only do so many of them. So what I'm gonna do is just, the Hall Pass, the lunges I can do, then whatever I can for the rest of the workout. I did a couple of rounds of calf raises + the knee holds until my thighs hurt a bit haha. But I did the five minute walk workout (love that thing) to at least keep the blood flowing.

672 - Got a couple moments in!

ZORO WORKOUT - 10k punches day 25!

Good thing - I'm about to go to bed and be SO COMFY.

Cooper status - fluff boy lov u <3

@Damer Ah-ha, Cooper whispered to you my body's hatred for lunges, eh? I see how it is. I think I'll do five for each new 'mon I get. So today we got 4... Man me getting the bug for dex completion earlier in the year is gonna end up being funny.

1,287 - Okay so I did 20 lunge step ups but I'm not sure if they were right? Getting up isn't the problem, it's more of like - https://www.darebee.com/exercises/lunge-step-ups.html that transition to going back down is... Hard for me? Maybe I need to do more, or there's something I'm missing. I can't exactly do it in a fluid motion like she does. ... At least not yet. ... I'll catch more. OH RIGHT, FIT DECEMBER DAY 7 HAPPENED YEAAAAH

677 - Got a few minutes in!

ZORO WORKOUT - 10K PUNCHES DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN now what do I do

Good thing - GOT SOME GOODIES AT THE FARMERS MARKEEEEET, who wants some goats milk soap lol

1,288 - Fit December day 8! And some calf raises!

678 - Few minutes in!

Good thing - I basically just crocheted all day. I have too much yarn. I need to make things. Help.

Cooper status - Fluff boy is wondering, are you okay? Are you drinking water? Do you need a hug?

And... Advice. Anyone have any anti-itch home remedies? As I feel like I'm going mentally insane rn lmao (I'll see a doctor if this keeps being bad but keep in mind I do live in America and it's before Christmas so I'd rather... not.)

Hi Cooper! We are good. Our landlord is a slumlord who still has not removed the snow from our parking spot or the back entrance to the house (although he did once pay a guy to plough out the driveway who actually ploughed the rest of the driveway into our parking spot, making the situation worse!) so we have now been without parking or a fire exit for a full week. But we had friends over for dinner Saturday night. And yesterday Shelby and I went for a long hike and saw lots of nice birds and puppy friends. So, other than the snow situation, we are excellent. We drink water every day. It is our favourite drink! And we hug each other every day. This weekend we also got hugs from our dinner guests. Except for one friend who could not hug Shelby because he is allergic. I will give her an extra hug from you, Cooper, to make up for that. If you could also give f1shie a hug from me, that would be grand!

Calamine. Menthol. Aloe. Cold water. Moisturizers. (Dry skin is a common cause of pruritis.)
But yes: please do see a doc if the situation does not clear up.

:fireworks: belated happy badge day! :fireworks:

I am trying to take good care of myself and hydrate! It's been a very stressful week but at least I am recovered enough that I am capable of being upright for more than a few minutes at a time ^^ Silly fatigue!

I agree with @Laura Rainbow Dragon , if washing, applying aloe, and moisturising doesn't take care of it, it's wise to go see a doctor.
Especially if it's bad enough to make you feel unhinged. I have several friends who've had to deal with scabies, and the sooner you catch it the better.
(not saying yours is scabies but it does make one unbearably itchy and it does not pass on its own)

Oh by the way if the itchiness appeared after putting up the christmas tree... maybe you have a mild allergy to pine trees?
My mum developed one at random and putting up the tree made her arms itch, as did pine-scented things.
Long sleeves to prevent the tree from scratching you might help if you want to keep decorating =)

Crocheting is so much fun! Shawls, bags, scrubbies for your face... I just made two soap-saver bags for the remaining bits of bar soap that are too small and slippery to use comfortably ^^

@Laura Rainbow Dragon @Maegaranthelas I bit the bullet and wrote to my doctor, I got some suggestions for another cream so that's good. However, I sure hope that it isn't the Christmas tree, because if I were allergic to pine trees... Well, Maine is known as the Pine Tree State so that'd evolve into a problem haha, but no it's been like that since before we got it so AGHGGHGHGHGHGHGH

Also, for people plowing into your parking spot, Cooper suggests a flamethrower. But only for the snow. Cooper does not advocate for bodily harm. He can also eat the snow, but it will take longer than a flamethrower will. I feel like Shelby may override his vote of a flamethrower.

1,289 - December fit day 9!

679 - Few minutes in!

Good thing - MOM MADE BEEF BOWLS YAY

Cooper status - We cuddled for a while on the couch. Please behold his lil face.

For the itching (I have MCAS so you’re talking my area) try grinding up some gluten free oatmeal and add some warm water to it and make it into a paste if your itching is just in a small area. Or use the powder in a warm bath. I mentioned gluten free because many brands of oats aren’t gf and gluten, what is high histamine, which causes reactions.
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
