Thank you @Mamatigerj ! Glad to see you again.

Saturday I walked my 5,000 steps, meditated and did daily habit.
So that makes for a good Sunday-to-Saturday habits week!

This morning I did

Yoga workout difficulty 3. A really nice one for the lower back, I will say! I will use it again.

Hugs @Mamatigerj , I appreciate.

So, yeah, long time because I went to see my parents in Bretagne. This was less tiring, with dad at thome, and quite reassuring, though he has one blood parameter I don't like ... But tomorrow he starts again chemo as outpatient.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday walked 5,000 steps, did meditation and daily habit. - so, good week.

Thursday morning I did

Friday I did

Saturday I did

And this morning 10 mins restorative yoga with DownDog.

So, yesterday Sunday did meditation and daily habit but not the whole walking.
This morning I was feeling combative!

And did it level II.

Weight wise, last week's average is higher, but the month's average is as October. Stability.

Dad's first day of new round of chemo went all right, and the doctor reassured him about the biological analysis that had mom and me wondering.

Thursday I have done the 5,000 steps, meditation and daily habit.

This morning I did at level II

Nice and fun with the bokken!

As I wrote, it was snowy in and around Paris yesterday ; I was supposed to go to the office (outside of Paris), but seeing the big snowflakes I came back home right after lunch, just in case the subway decided to not cooperate ;) (the lines I use to go to the office are underground, but many lines have outdoors tracks, and well, as we do not prepare for snow, LOL...). I like snow, but really Paris doesn't know how to deal with it! Kind of makes me miss "It's Buffalo, it snows, deal with it!"

So that was a good week for walking, meditation, daily habit.

Weight is 43.7 for the week, higher than 2 weeks ago but same as last week. Darn.

This morning 10 mins of restorative yoga with DownDog. That felt good.
Also doing high knees to complete my steps, so far it has made me bag 25 turkeys - we'll get them, LOL!

This morning I did a 10 mins hatha yoga workout with DownDog app, nice compromise between relaxation and flexibility/strength workout.

Merry thanksgiving to all the Americans here!

Turkey run was fun. As usual I won't join in the snowfight (it becomes overwhelming so fast, LOL!), but can't wait to decorate our Darebee Christmas Tree!
So, december will probably be december callenge, Fit december program, plus the tree.

I can't believe my tickets for "Les Misérables" are already for tomorrow evening, and Advent starts Sunday! Crazy...

We had a blast with Les Mis! The singers for Eponine and Javert were particularly nice, and the changes in the setting were quite good (not fully convinced by their barricades, but my three companions were very impressed, so guess it's good, LOL!) And my three companions also clearly had a really good time. I love making memories like that :)

And tomorrow starts advent season... Wishing all christians here a blessed advent; and others a great winter season!

Hugs, @Mamatigerj !

So, Saturday did not do my my 5,000 steps, did meditation and daily habit.
So, good Sunday-to-Saturday week!

This morning started the monthly challenge

and Fit December D1.
Yay!

Weight wise, I gained a bit on the weekly average, and stable on the monthly average : august/sept/oct/nov are 44.4 kg / 43.7 kg / 43.3 kg / 43.5 kg. Not quite my goal, we'll have control a top more , specially after Christmas. Sigh.

Sunday did my 5,000 steps, did meditation and daily habit.

This morning I did Fit december D2 - and One and Done challenge D2; plus between yesterday and today did two "day off passes" in advance for the month.

A silly thing happened this afternoon when I went to the hospital to get a 24-h holter. As it was a short thing, I took the elevator for consultations... then realised I was at the wrong elevator. I thought Oh well, I will walk following (a big central corridor visible for that floor) and I can only end up at the right place, riiiiiiight ? Well, I walk, walk, walk.... and suddently realise to my horror I am in a restricted area for interventions (not surgical but nearly ; where I got all my shocks and my catheterisms!) ... A nurse came out of one of the wake-up rooms and started "chasing" me - luckily I had a mask on, LOL! Got out in the area I know very well (where I am usually hospitalised) and then I was good, but eeek! That restricted area was not quite restricted!!! I mush have so scared that poor nurse!
Voila, the little silly things this wolvie can ger herself into! :chuckle:

Tuesday did my 5,000 steps, did meditation and daily habit.

This morning I did Fit december D4 - and One and Done challenge D4.

So, the (recent) government may fall this afternoon - with a probability of over 95%. We already spent the whole summer with an "interim government" between the June dissolution / elections and the olympic games and summer vacations and whatnot. And tomorrow strikes are already in view.
Yay for French politics. (Oops, my sarcasm key was stuck!)

Wednesday did my 5,000 steps, did meditation and daily habit.

This morning I did Fit december D5 - and One and Done challenge D5.

Office presence day, and our whole team (minus the senior) was here, I am thinking the atmosphere is getting better - or the Christmas spirit is helping, LOL. We're moving offices (in the same building) in 2 week so gotta prepare ; next offices should be rather nice, and we will be closer to each other.
Got presents for my older bro, for my dad , questions remain for my mom (HAS to be solved!) and second bro + SIL and darling nephew (but at worst they'll get fun little things + gift card so I don't overworry.). I worry more for mom's pressent, it's harder! We'll find.

Looks like we are finding something for mom, and it gave me the occasion of a good laughter through emails with my bros. They're crazy. We're crazy :chuckle:

Grins to @wjs !

Friday did my 5,000 steps, did meditation and daily habit.

This morning I did Fit december D7 - and One and Done challenge D7.

Notre-dame is reopened today (opening of the doors) and tomorrow (first mass). Now seeing all that work, and in that short time, is nothing short of amazing. I am not a fan of the modern religious furnitures; but the restauration itself is breathtaking. At last some beauty in this tormented time!

So, I decided to go for a star , "little star of Bethlehem..." :beating: so far 300 step jacks / 1000. I count on continuing tomorrow, taking Thursday of (going to the office physically), and finishing Friday.

What else?
The Owl striked again, with Duolingo changing again rules - no "night owl" and "morning owl" bonuses, which annoys me ; and at least at my level no "stable" zone, only promotion or demotion, which I find unmotivating and demotivating respectively. Agh. @TopNotch , hoping this doesn't hamper too much our cooperation!

And I watched a great movie. Warning, it is a black-and-white oldie, but as I already liked the cineast a lot, I gave it a try: "le corbeau" (the crow) from Clouzot. Wow.
A very few very dated shots (like close-up on a a single, fat tear rolling on the seductress's cheek), but less than 1% of the movie, and the picture - and atmosphere, are just amazing. It deals with a little French town where anonymous letters (signed with the drawin of a crow) denouncing an abortionist-doc, an unfaithful wife and such, start wrecking havoc. It was filmed during occupation, but frankly, could be any date, any small town - including Belgium, Netherlands, Bayern, rural Pennsylvania... The stifling atmosphere; suspicions, the mob ... And though you may have a guess at who the crow is, the moviemaker will give you whiplash until the last minute. Some spectacular pictures - shadows, a lone woman running away from the mob in town, the final shot ... Really, if you have interest in historical movies, it is worth watching.
English wiki, with spoilers

Having been filmed in a german studio during occupation, the movie was shunned for some time (though as I said, I consider it time and place-less in its description of human nature, and the occupation is never mentioned), but now recognised for a treasure. It even gave in French the slang of calling an anonymous-letters-writer a crow. Clouzot has clearly no naivety about human nature, including kids, and is not optimistic, you're warned. The other two movies he made that I am a big fan of are "the wages of fear" and "les diaboliques", which I highly recommend.

Oh, very different style ;) but another movie I recently saw and liked, "candyman" - the 2021 version (paging @GentleOx as it is his beloved fare, LOL). I didn't expect it;, but it really marked me, and made me think about the cycles of violence in a community (and wondering how to break / help break them). Highly recommend if you look for a less-gory but marking horror/fantastic movie.
