- 1400 Burpee Challenge - day 1. 10 burpees. The other day I re-ready the Breathing Guide, implemented those suggestions. Burpees usually leave me gasping for breath. This type I was pleasantly surprised at both my ease of breath & the burpees seemed easier.

Before Bed:
- DD
- Counting Victory Challenge

- 1400 Burpee Challenge - day 3 - 25 burpees. Used the method of breathing recommended in the Guides. This made a huge difference again. Lesson learned!
- Run - 1.04 km
- Walk - cool down - 0.41 km

This was a very sad day. My brother in-law passed away. He had cancer. My wife & I did get to visit him in the hospital on Thursday & Friday. This is the 4th death this year; 2 family members & two former co-workers.

Happy Halloween!

In the morning I volunteered at one of grandchildren’s school; they were doing a bunch of Halloween projects
In the late afternoon & evening I enjoyed all the trick & treaters. By the time they were done, I was just drained. It’s been a challenging week,

- My wife & I decorate the Christmas tree & the interior of our home

Before Dinner:
- Volunteering with “Linking Generations” with a Grade 3 class. For various reasons there are lots of children whom have little or no relationship with their grandparents. This organization puts an “adopted grandparent” in the classroom.

Before Bed:
- We had dinner at a friends home. We hadn’t seen them since June, at our step-daughter’s Celebration of Life.
- Counting Victory Challenge.

Not really a workout day, but a great day for the heart & mind.
