Today was a good day.
It was still a Monday for sure, but very happy with how everything played out today.
Miyagi almost got left outside as he wasn't coming back when I called him a bunch of times before work. Finally when I was backing up out of my driveway, he was on our steps so I went to let him back in.
He's currently out there now, and I'm already falling asleep at 7:30pm, lol. It's slighty warmer, but still cold.
Get to work and a large SUV was parked in my spot. I'm there at 6:34am and all the other spots were open, I'm like, 'Really?'.
I was blaming a new person, but turned out it was a guy that is wrapping up gave the vehicle back to the company. Another guy moved it for me today at least.
Then lots of annoying things crept up, but nothing I couldn't handle.
Plus I get to have a big hand in the NH people's new quality of service program like I get to do for 3rd boss at NJ. So that is cool.
And then...I was so worried from Friday, but my boss let me know that I am getting a 10% raise!
Now I feel guilty, as they shouldn't be encouraging me to act out, LOL, but they were supposed to give this to me in December, so I'll stop feeling bad.
Definitely a nice surprise!
Plus the girls decorated my desk and got me pastries. Sure, I did not need those, and my husband got me a cake, but at least all of it was from my favorite bakery.
I already wrote off this week, but it does suck because last week, I FINALLY got back down to before Christmas progress. I'm just reminding myself it doesn't matter, I can be disciplined again next week. Valentine's Day is Friday. I got my husband cookies he likes as I was not expecting the extra pastries.
Oh and hubby got me a really cool big balloon and a very sweet card along with some charms for my charm bracelet.
Very happy.

The morning was good until it was almost near lunch. Then it was constant until past 4.
Was not bad, like get in trouble bad, but I did screw up promising something on a date I shouldn't have, through a system that locks you in once you do it, but it ended up getting saved thankfully. I have some great coworkers.
But I am a bit behind, so I need to rush off.
But on a humorous note, Miyagi is completely terrified of a birthday balloon my husband got me. It was in the living room and although he likes the ribbons hanging down, the balloon makes him run away and want to go outside.
So since it snowed on the overnight, before work while he was outside I moved it upstairs where he rarely goes.
Everytime he comes back in, he's looking at the ceiling where it was for a few days. This morning he was still flinching and it's not even there anymore.
Cats have episodic memory. Most things he can't remember, but the scary balloon that's out to kill him like it's an evil clown...that he remembers.

@Maegaranthelas, my hubby says it's because the balloon has the advantage of the higher position. I just can't get over that he has no fear of my flailing limbs and I am way bigger than the balloon, but I can be put in my place. lol. Today was a good day.
Not really too eventful, but making progress on some things I've been working on.
My company has off on Monday and I feel bad as my re-coworker who works for the other plant that owns us has to work.
I know I vent in my thread a lot, but I really do count my blessings a lot over how spoiled I am.
Just have to knock out some dishes, then I can finally catch up on some rest.

Friday was a little crazy, but I got a lot done. Helped a coworker who was shorthanded and that made me a little later than I wanted to be, but still basically on time.
But with that, I called my boss on my ride home as I had to be short with him while I was helping the other girl.
Glad I did as since I was driving and not in the office, he let me know that not only did I just get the 10% raise, I'm getting a large bonus (same amount I have been getting previously for my Christmas bonus from the other company I left). So it is a little late, but very happy it's coming and that was unexpected.
So with that both, I am now a significant step above from the company I left behind. So this gamble I took is now very worth it.
It is really from my re-boss, so glad I vented instead of continuing to bottle things.
I can also go back to giggling about my low title like I did in the first place accepting it, the label doesn't matter. I get to do so many amazing things and I know I'm appreciated.
Have some more responsibility coming up with them bringing in another person for our product line, I'll have to track all that guy's crap, but I'm good about it now. lol
Only feel slightly guilty as there are some people that had their hours cut a little. So that makes these gifts I received more significant.
Friday I made a nice dinner for me and hubby and got us some cookies. Yesterday we got our income taxes done as we always do near my birthday.
We go out to Long Island in NY for this, it's an hour and forty minute drive, but we always get good returns to make it worth it. Plus it's 20 minutes away from this place in Brooklyn we like to go for these really good Roast Beef sandwiches.
It started snowing while we were out, but we made it home safe and after that we binged the finale of Cobra Kai on Netflix.
Sad the show is wrapped up, but it was an amazing series and I like the way the tied everything up.
My Miyagi was a Valentine's sweetie. He let me steal two cuddles while I was brushing him and he was actually happy. He's my kitty lover, lol.

Today was a good day, but I was staring at a computer screen for 11 hours, so I have to do a quick update and log off.
One of my co-workers who was off called out. I offered to help and the lady who did not send all the stuff she was supposed to to the plants that were open yesterday ended up dumping a ton of crap on me.
So she said she would take care of it instead of forwarding the stuff on and she did not.
So no breaks, I plowed through.
The last thing I helped on was a two minute quick thing and she had the nerve to say, 'sorry, I thought I only sent you the hard ones'.
SERIOUSLY? I could have did a bunch of the two minute ones, I was not looking for things that take over an hour each.
I will remember that...
I could have stopped at any time, but I'm glad I stuck it through so it's not dumped on my co-worker tomorrow. Next time I will just specify to send me A thing not as much as you can.
I basically have my entire day of normal stuff to catch up on tomorrow...but should be ok if I'm allowed to concentrate.
And for a bonus, the company's President came in today. I never get to talk to him, but he held the door open for me on my way out. So I got a quick 30 seconds, but I'll take it.
