DAILIES
  • Early Morning Walk
  • Exercise of the Day

MONDAY - SATURDAY
  • Challenge: Re:Center i am not up for the wall-sits in this month's Reset Challenge, but i saw a few people doing this one in May and liked the look of it.
  • Challenge: Push_Ups & Squats these days will alternate perfectly with the leg raises & plank hold days in Re:Center, hoping to keep building some muscle.
AFTERNOONS & SATURDAYS
  • Workouts from the database or Workout of the Day at least 3 per week; i am thinking about doing the Recomp Plan at some point this year, and this is my way of kind of dipping my toe in the water.
EVENINGS on Mon&Tue, Thu& Fri
  • Program: ZEN with some tweaks:
    • doubling up the days, so that i do both yoga & meditation
    • increasing the meditation times more gradually: so 2 days of 10min, then 11, 12, 14, 16, and 18, and finally 3 days of 20
EXTRA
  • Neighbourhood Pool hoping to go a couple of evenings every week

~8 years ago, i originally joined the Hive. I have had stumbles and stops and starts along the way, but i can honestly say that finding this community is one of the best things that happened in my life. I am forever grateful to @neilarey and @Damer and their team for the incredible work, and to all of my fellow Bees for the unfailing support and encouragement!

  • Fighting Cancer:/Strength Workout: Sculptor Plus (d4) +ec; knee pushups, 3lb dbs for punches, 8lb dbs for curls (heaviest i had, so i doubled the reps), active rest: shrugs & calf raises

  • Exercise of the Day (#738/635) modified to squat calf raises
  • Challenge: Re:Center (with graoumia) day 11
  • Challenge: Push_Ups & Squats day 11; set 1: knee; set 2: 9 knee, 3 wall; set 3: wall
  • Fighting Cancer: 3min weighted (2lb) punches
  • Program: ZEN day 15 i wanted/needed to hold the supine twists (#2) and figure fours (#6) longer, so i did. :happy: Then i tacked on some happy baby and reclined butterfly and finished with legs up a wall chair. It was so lovely and relaxing!

Felt achy and fluish all day, so i pretty much vegged on the couch. I am not sick; my IBS just makes me feel like this sometimes.

  • Yoga/Stretching on the couch (i literally typed "couch yoga" into the youtube search box; my skin was still too touchy for me to get on the floor)

  • Exercise of yesterDay (#741/638) the animation looks (to me) as if both legs are moving out at the same time, but that didn't make sense, and this video (not an elbow plank) shows 1 leg at a time, so that is what i did
  • Challenge: Re:Center (with graoumia) day 13
  • Challenge: Push_Ups & Squats day 13; set 1: knee, set 2&3: counter
  • Program: ZEN day 17 & 18 (16min)
