Well, I am only about a quarter of the way through it (I’m a slow reader). As I read the different perspectives of the daughters, I’d say I am entertained, more than anything, currently. My teenaged granddaughter was reading it in her language arts (do they still call it that?) class, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I do plan to finish it, however slow I am. I’ll say more at that time.

The premise of knowing something is going to happen before it happens and then wondering when it is going to happen is what kept me hooked to the book. And yes, following the different perspectives gave the book enough variety that I connected well with the characters. I especially love Ruth May, so distinct a voice from the other characters. Also, growing up Baptist and having gone through my own religious trauma (not at all comparable to theirs), it stirred up some feelings. We'll have to talk more after you finish the novel.
